09/03/2026: I had the pleasure of being a guest at Locanda Buglioni for a wedding and was truly amazed by the quality of the food. The entire dinner was meticulously crafted, with beautifully executed dishes, top-quality ingredients, and attentive service that made the experience even more enjoyable. The great attention to detail in both the cuisine and hospitality was clearly evident. But the real surprise came with the dessert: a simply extraordinary pistachio mousse with raspberry. A perfect balance between the sweetness of the pistachio and the freshness of the raspberry, truly delicious and memorable. Congratulations to the entire staff for making this wedding even more special with their high-quality culinary offerings.

14/03/2026: It is a truly delicious, friendly, and wonderful restaurant. I hadn't been able to eat spicy food for days, so I asked the chef to make it spicy, and he prepared it with the perfect level of spiciness for Korean palates. It is the kind of taste that makes you want to drink draft beer. (If it had been a dish with broth, I would have mixed rice into it.) Now that I've had it once, I want to eat it again. If the staff happen to see this review, I really want to thank them. It was the most delicious meal I have had in the five days since arriving in Italy.

25/03/2026: A small, unassuming gem on the outskirts of Bardolino. This small but charming and lovingly decorated osteria completely won us over. The service was very warm and attentive. The food was fresh and of high quality. The prices were very fair. Even though the osteria is barely noticeable from the main road, it's definitely worth a visit. We'll certainly be back when we're in Bardolino again!

We've tried them on multiple occasions, including special ones, and they've always been magnificent, from the warm welcome to the extraordinary meats, to the option of requesting custom desserts, like their incredible tiramisu. 15/03/2026: Truly beautiful place, a truly quaint and unique setting. The waiters are very kind and friendly, always explaining the various dishes. I tried the fillet with black truffle, which I must say wasn't particularly impressive, especially because of the way it was cooked, with a lot of cheese and the truffle, which wasn't particularly noticeable. The meat itself was good. The wine was excellent, as was their amaretto. Prices were reasonable for the type of place and the service.

04/04/2026: Having been recommended this place, we were extremely lucky to find a table inside without having to wait. (There is a good amount of outside seating for the warmer weather.) Inside has an intimate and relaxed charm. We chose one antipasti and one prime course (pasta) to share. The Maitre D was perhaps a little judgemental about this and wanted clarification on what we wanted at what part of the dinner (we were fine to have them at the same time) however they went the extra mile to bring the antipasti out first with two small plates for each of us. Then the pasta first course was split into two individual dishes, so we actually had one each. The pasta was the best pasta we gave tried on Lake Garda. Absolutely delicious. My main dish of salt cod was also lovely, light and tasty. Great wines, this place is highly recommended.

Kudos to the wine list, rich and varied, allowing for refined pairings that complement the menu well. The atmosphere is very relaxing, despite being formal. The quality/price ratio is decidedly good. An experience worth repeating. PS: The os a moelle is truly sublime, a remarkable balance of flavors.

15/02/2026: There's no excuse for making a table with two people wait that long, while everyone else around you receives their dishes, from appetizers to first courses to main courses. Did you forget your order? Did you have a problem in the kitchen? You go to the table and apologize for the long wait, especially for our two simple first courses. It takes a moment, just a moment, to be polite, apologize, and make up for it somehow. After pointing it out to you, absolutely nothing has changed. What a shame.
