19/04/2025: Very fresh food - it was very tasty, I recommend

19/04/2025: Arrived with a kid in the push car, in a moment the restaurant was almost completely empty. The waiter was rude, saying that we should leave because there was no room for the push chair, even though I said I could close it. He rolled his eyes and said we should leave. If you are travelling with a small kids, dont waist your time with this place.

04/03/2025: I have returned to this place several times and I have been able to try both the pizza, the first courses and the second courses. The pizza is light, well leavened and well seasoned (they use sourdough, which is sacred to me for my digestion), the fish is well cooked and the first courses mostly have condiments with very "summer" flavours. The cost is a little high, but it is fair given the view, the quality of the food and the location in Malcesine. Advised!

16/03/2025: Highly recommended. Daniel and all the staff are very kind and highly trained. Unfortunately we arrived late and despite this they didn't try to send us away quickly, they make you feel very at ease. The food is really excellent, the tortelli tasting one better than the other, like the love knot, the cheek melts in your mouth. We'll be back.

18/02/2025: One of the best restaurants in this area. Brilliant food. No matter whether grilled trout, meat, pasta or pizza. Everything is freshly prepared. We like coming here. The boss cooks himself and is also there for his customers. At the end you get a limoncello, grappa or herbal liqueur, depending on your preference.

22/12/2024: Sicuramente molto cortesi, ma il cibo lascia proprio a desiderare. L’unico piatto discreto è stato il risotto all’amarone, peccato che sia stato servito in quelle fondine terrificanti con la “fossetta” dove ci staranno esagerando 40 grammi di riso, oltre ad essere piatti scomodi per mangiare. Coniglio decisamente duro, difficile da tagliare e condito con l’aceto di mele……., imbarazzante….. Tagliata super nervosa, direi che la carne non è il vostro forte. Speravamo nel dolce, purtroppo anche lì non ne hanno “azzeccata” una …Comunque ribadisco che la cortesia del personale e dei titolari e/o gestori è insuperabile.

13/03/2025: Wandering around Burano and it was a lovely day so we thought we’d have lunch sat outside in the sun. The waiter asked ‘inside or outside’ and we said outside. There was a table for three laid up in the sun so we asked if we could sit there. Apparently not as we were only two people and there were three tables for two in the shade so we were directed to one of them. Just as we sat down another couple asked to sit at the table for three and were given it - despite two shaded tables still being free. There was plenty of choice on the menu - I had Bresaola, rocket and Parmesan and my husband had a seafood linguine. Food was delivered quickly and was tasty. Waiter was a bit grumpy throughout our visit and everything seemed to be too much trouble for him which made us feel a bit uncomfortable asking for anything. Inside is really large and the decor is lovely. Lots of old photographs on the walls. Plenty of staff milling about too.

16/03/2025: Siamo nei pressi di Arquà per lavoro. Attirati dalle recensioni proviamo l'Osteria al Guerriero. Prenotiamo, e ci dicono che c'è posto solo fuori ma che fa molto caldo tanto che si sta in maniche di camicia. Arriviamo all'orario combinato, ma il tavolo non è disponibile. Attendiamo: ci sono 14° con un bel venticello frizzante. La proprietaria ci lascia in piedi ad aspettare accanto a due signori che hanno quasi terminato, e che alla fine - dopo 15 min - mossi a compassione ci lasciano il posto. Intanto altri avventori in attesa vengono incoraggiati dal personale ad accomodarsi sul davanzale delle finestre piano terra di un edificio di fronte. Ci sediamo senza togliere sciarpa e cappotto. Dal menu del giorno, pensando di velocizzare, ordiniamo due primi (gnocchi asparagi e gamberetti) ed un secondo da condividere, due calici di bianco. Ci portano subito acqua e vino: nei calici 1 cm di liquido! La dose corretta a calice ed a menù dovrebbe essere di 150 ml..... Finalmente dopo 40 minuti, riappare la proprietaria con i nostri due primi, svolazzando tra strada e sala interna perché non sa a che tavolo vanno. Ci sbracciamo un po', ed alla fine abbiamo i nostri gnocchi sul tavolo. Solo gnocchi badate bene, perché di gamberetti ce n'è uno solo per piatto. Gli gnocchi sono un po' crudi, ma la fame, l'orario, il freddo hanno compiuto la magia e buttiamo giù tutto con l'acqua, perché il vino - un sorso e via - è già finito nell'attesa. Il secondo tutto sommato va un po' meglio anche se pepatissimo. Sono passate ormai più di due ore: chiediamo il conto ad un cameriere di passaggio, che ci dice che lui non se ne occupa. Proviamo all'interno: facciamo 10 minuti di coda perché un cliente prima di noi vuole la fattura. Quando arriva il nostro turno, la proprietaria ci dice che il conto si fa solo fuori al tavolo: usciamo, ma il nostro tavolo è già preso. Quindi attendiamo in piedi fuori un altro quarto d'ora. A proposito il conto è di € 76..... Che dire.... Non sappiamo se i guerrieri siamo stati noi, oppure se ci vorrà il guerriero per riportarci lì

23/03/2025: I leave this post for our four-legged friends. At the discretion of the owner, (even though we tried to book by phone) he gives us the option of waiting for one of the four tables adjacent to the entrance to become free. He does not let our dog have the opportunity to enter the other rooms of the pizzeria. We are also put on hold for some people with reservations (always regarding the four tables). After about half an hour we decide to leave. I leave a star to the management only because zero is not possible.

22/03/2025: Excellent food at very good prices! Had the sliced beef. Came out medium rare and grilled to perfection. Also had the pepperoni pizza and gnocchi. All so good! Highly recommended! Check the prices on the menu.

15/03/2025: Very nice staff with delicious spagetti carbonara and side salad. Unfortunately there is no large salad plate here. Fine dining, approx. 70 m from the lake.

09/03/2025: We stopped for lunch without booking. They found us a table, even if it was outside, and served us a fabulous lunch.
