07/09/2025: We came here on vacation for a few days, and we had a great time! The staff was very kind and helpful! A special mention goes to Lorenza, who pampered us during our stay and fulfilled our every request. The place is truly relaxing and quiet, surrounded by greenery, just steps from the sea and towns like Ortona and Vasto. The breakfast is delicious, with both sweet and savory options. The company of the dog and kittens made this experience even more enjoyable. :)

29/12/2025: Our hotel reserved a table for us at 7:30 pm. When we arrived at 7:30 pm, no one even answered the door. After a staff member finally made an effort to open it, we were very coldly turned away because we had our small dog with us. There was no such notice on the website or on the door. That's not enough!

21/09/2025: Excellent dinner in a truly lovely and relaxing setting just steps from the lake shore, with friendly and helpful staff. I had tagliatelle with trout and zucchini for starters, delicious!

08/03/2026: Attracted by the good reviews, we stopped for dinner. The atmosphere was beautiful, the service was courteous and friendly. We ordered two first courses, one large beer, and a quart of prosecco on tap for a total of €64. Perhaps our expectations were high, and we were a little disappointed. It's not that the dishes weren't of high quality, but the description on the menu didn't reflect the flavor. The prosecco wasn't good at all.

04/11/2025: Lovely meal at Trattoria all Colonna. Very important to book in the evening but we managed to eat without a reservation on Tuesday at lunchtime.
Typical local well cooked food from an osteria. Lovely beef carpaccio, followed by penne a la casa which was full of flavour very tasty indeed. All washed down with a beautiful local Veronese red beer - superb! You can get wines by the glass as well.
Big thanks also to the kind staff and young man who helped get back an important pink bag full of insulin for my type 1 diabetic fiancé - grazie mille!!

I highly recommend it because it boasts a wide variety of dishes, especially the pasta and meat, which are prepared tableside and served exceptionally well. Excellent value for money ✅ The location is fantastic, situated on one of the streets leading to Prato della Valle. The building itself is beautiful, dating back to the early 1900s. If you're in Padua, be sure to stop by this restaurant and experience il Dolce Farniente ♥️ 🇮🇹

16/09/2025: Three for service only because the waiter sets the table for five, as we have a baby in a stroller.
As soon as we point out that there are four of us (the baby wasn't eating), he angrily tells us, "Never mind, you're five."
At which point we accepted (remember, in Italy you pay a cover charge).
In the end, it was a lovely evening.
The food was excellent.

13/02/2026: Today, while passing through Chioggia, I ate here. The atmosphere is elegant, clean, and discreet. A respectable menu and very friendly staff. A good fried dish, excellent wine, side dishes, and a dessert that surprised me: radicchio, carrots, cream, and chocolate chips. A truly unusual specialty. If you have the chance, stop by. 09/02/2026: We arrived at the restaurant around 8 pm on a Sunday. The main room was very sparsely populated, and the second room was completely empty. The employee was extremely rude and wouldn't let us in, saying there wasn't enough space for us to dine. TERRIBLE service!
We ended up having dinner at the restaurant next door, which had excellent service and excellent food as well.
06/02/2026: Absolutely delicious, definitely deserves the title of 'best in town'. Succulent dishes prepared with love (perfect for the city of Romeo and Juliet 😉). Highly recommended. We'll definitely be back 😎

16/02/2026: We went the night before Valentine's Day and had a great time!
The waiters were truly welcoming and eager to present the entire menu, including wines and spirits, in a courteous and interesting manner. A bonus is that they're very careful about gluten-free options, and as a celiac, I was able to eat with peace of mind and choose from a wide range of options. The only downside: the portions are really small, and for the price we paid, we were hoping to be fuller once we left.
14/02/2026: Local products and traditional dishes presented with a modern twist. All dishes and wines are presented and explained by the young host, who demonstrates a deep knowledge of the products and a passion for his work.

It offers excellent traditional local cuisine, featuring both meat and fish.
The menu is extensive and well-stocked, and the dessert menu is noteworthy, all homemade.
The restaurant is divided into two parts: the first is more historic and stylishly furnished, while the other is more recent but still welcoming.
We had lunch on a weekday without a reservation; otherwise, reservations are recommended.
Dogs are welcome.
