31/07/2025: Food was amazing here and the location is superb, a tight little alleyway with so many people enjoying themselves, this is how I imagined Italy. Our waiter was excellent, some great advice and super service.

17/08/2025: I'm from the area, and for us, this restaurant is one of the few you can visit without being ripped off like a tourist, which is all too often the case in the Chianti area. Friendly, energetic, excellent cuisine and platters, excellent house wine, and fair prices. The location is also lost in the past, with a small Romanesque church next to the restaurant, under whose loggias a group of elderly people play Burraco.
17/08/2025: I found this place through online research, and I must say I was very impressed with the location. We booked dinner for two. It's a very unique place with a beautiful sunset view. Attached to the restaurant is a lovely church. The staff are very kind and friendly, and the dishes are traditional and excellent value. The charcuterie and cheese platter is excellent. The wait between courses is perhaps a bit long... but it's worth the wait. We'll definitely be back.

26/07/2025: I called to order takeout pizza. The owner of the pizzeria rudely responded to me after I asked if he had other times available. He then got angry and hung up on me when I was about to confirm the time I'd previously given.
For this reason, I'm forced to give the service one star. And if you have the option, don't go there.
24/07/2025: We managed to get a table without booking in advance, the food was delicious so we splurged on tiramisu for dessert, it's worth a visit

16/08/2025: Lovely pizzeria, located right in the main square of San Donato, serves delicious pizzas with made with a thin crust and tastes amazing. The atmosphere is warm and welcoming, making it a great spot for families. The staff are very kind and patient, taking the time to explain the menu in detail. We enjoyed it so much that we came back twice during our holiday! Highly recommended.
13/08/2025: The worst pizza in my life. Actually, it's not pizza, but pita bread with filling. Dessert: we ordered tiramisu. They brought ice cream with tiramisu flavor. But we ordered dessert, not ice cream. On the good side: the location is beautiful

17/08/2025: We stayed at this property from August 14 to August 17. It's a beautiful property, well-located for visiting Siena, but in my opinion, it wasn't well-maintained. Our room was damp, the beds were nothing special, one was a sofa, and there were already used shampoo and shower gel samples. The shared hallway leading to our room was always dirty with bird droppings that spent the night there, but no one had ever cleaned them up in three days.
The bar service regularly ran out of coffee cups and spoons.
I think there's something to revise.

04/01/2025: I sapori di ogni piatto erano perfettamente bilanciati e gli ingredienti incredibilmente freschi. Semplicemente perfetto. Grazie a Paolo per aver reso piacevole la nostra cena.
28/12/2024: Partiti dal piemonte per tornare qui a mangiare il peposo: strepitoso!!
Il proprietario è fantastico e super accogliente. Il menù è ottimo e i prezzi sono super competitivi. Consigliatissimo!

18/10/2024: Múltiples experiencias disponibles. Optó por E 160 Vegetariano. El servicio de pan y los regalos del chef fuera de las tablas, sin embargo, la calidad de la comida se degradó desde aquí. Ambos servidores excelentes. Aunque falta diseño de restaurante; demasiado moverse a través del espacio. Vale la pena probar si un invitado.
