16/05/2026: More style than substance, or at least that's the claim. In my opinion, the portions were tiny, and the taste and quality varied.
The pork tenderloin was as dry as a pancake. There's more to say, including some positive things, but overall, no, I wasn't satisfied at all. I went home disappointed and hungry to have my second dinner there.
07/05/2026: Passing through charming Anghiari, I chose this trattoria based on the menu and reviews. I had made a reservation to be safe, but since it was a weekday, it wasn't necessary, especially since we were a couple. I expected traditional cuisine, and that's exactly what I got. A platter of local cured meats, two first courses, and the typical poccia dessert. I was completely satisfied. The place is pleasantly elegant, but it feels like home. Excellent service and hospitality. The appetizer included a pappa al pomodoro (tomato soup) and a taste of vin santo with dessert. Reasonable prices considering all of this.
I would return.
Recommended.

12/06/2026: What can I say? Luckily, osterias survive in this era of sophisticated plating and sky-high prices! Spaghetti with garlic, oil, and chili pepper, sausage, or ribs with a side of beans, €15. Excellent, plentiful food. Come, you won't regret it. Remember to bring at least a quart of house red wine.

29/06/2026: The grumpiest service I've ever experienced. Highly recommended if you long to feel humble for a very reasonable fee. The pasta was perfect, the wine was generously poured, and the salad was huge and delicious. Would absolutely come to be furiously glared at again.

10/12/2025: It is not ideal for demanding clients, but the price-performance ratio is unique. The whole family and friends love to come back here. I highly recommend it.
14/10/2025: The structure is squalid after 2 hours waiting for the heating technician who didn't show up I packed my bags and left... dirty room, kitchen and bathroom worse, third world fixtures, staff not up to par... I wouldn't go back even for free... better to sleep on the street

06/05/2025: Mi marido y yo estábamos tratando de encontrar un restaurante local (no turístico) fuera de la plaza principal y nos topamos con este. Paola y Franco eran una delicia. Paola era muy cálido, amable y muy servicial. Teníamos los ravioles, seguido de un filete de 1 kg que estaba perfectamente cocinado y delicioso verdura. Luego nos regalaron biscotti (obviamente Paola se hizo) con un vino de postre.
Exactamente lo que estábamos buscando. Sin duda volveremos.

02/04/2026: We found this accommodation with our family of four and would definitely give it 5 stars+. The apartments are absolutely charming and tastefully furnished, perfectly suited to the surroundings. The owner, Simona, lives and breathes her project, filling the "Penna Alta" with holiday apartments and an osteria serving local cuisine, all imbued with her own unique character. Anyone wanting to experience Tuscany up close will find themselves right at home here.
We enjoyed a set menu featuring several local dishes at the osteria and were absolutely delighted.

05/04/2025: Prenotato da mio marito come tappa viaggio verso Arezzo. Una meraviglia...tipico casolare toscano nella Val Chianti...Dentro soffitto con travi a vista e tavoli apparecchiati semplicemente ma eleganti ! Mio marito scelta di piatti dal.menu alla carta, mentre io degustazione a sorpresa! Uno spettacolo dagli antipasti al dolce! Gentilezza della ragazza al tavolo, tutto davvero eccellente con abbinamenti particolari! Consigliatissimo!
02/02/2025: Pranzo in famiglia, abbiamo mangiato l' antipasto della dora Franca dove c'era di tutto (affettati, formaggio,tortini, polenta e funghi ecc...), poi un primo a testa abbondante e gustosissimo, tagliata, "nana"in porchetta dolce tipico della zona.
Piatti ottimi e ben serviti. Bene bene bene!!!! Prezzo onestissimo!
Sicuramente ci torneremo....

14/06/2025: Purtroppo non posso recensire la qualità del cibo in quanto la scortesia del personale ha fatto sì che nemmeno ci sedessimo.
Infatti, alla richiesta di un tavolo vicino un ventilatore ci ha risposto: “se andate 3 km più avanti trovate una montagna” aggiungendo: “se avete le idee chiare e ordinate entro 5 min bene altrimenti nulla”
Inutile dire che ce ne siamo andati.
08/05/2025: Piacevolissima sorpresa nel centro di Arezzo. Il proprietario, gentilissimo, mi ha consigliato la pizza con farina di kamut: uno spettacolo! Impasto perfetto, digeribilissima, buonissima. Prezzi nella norma, gentilezza di tutto il personale e prodotti eccellenti.
