Osteria Toscana Borgo Antico In Sansepolcro

Discovered by chance and...luckily! A true osteria, small, warm, and welcoming, highly recommended for those who love a family atmosphere and simple, authentic dishes, just like in the olden days! The vegetarian platter was excellent, colorful, and tasty, but we'll be back to try the other options, both Tuscan and Roman! A pleasant dinner, concluded with a generous glass of vin santo and scroccadenti, and a chat with the friendly owner!

The perfect place to feel at home and eat like you're at home. The owner and staff aren't just friendly, they're also welcoming. I think it's one of the best places I've ever eaten at. The place is small, but it has everything you need to feel, I repeat, truly at home. The food is excellent, to say the least; the dishes are more than adequate, tending to be generous, but always a delight. It's a shame these little wonders are enjoyed more by tourists than by us Italians. If you're passing through San Sepolcro, I HIGHLY recommend stopping by. You'll be VERY satisfied. I personally think I've found the PERFECT place.

Typical trattoria with a varied menu, excellent prices, fantastic cured meats

The atmosphere is very small and intimate, a bit too cluttered and full of objects that evoke a Roman rather than Tuscan theme. The staff is courteous and friendly. Overall, order and cleanliness wouldn't hurt (we found a pack of cigarettes at the table, a broken chair was lying around, the fish in the aquarium caught our attention, etc.) Portions are listed on the wall.
