24/07/2025: Increíble experiencia en La Tabernetta!!!! Primero tengo que mencionar el lugar, frente al mar con barcos amarrados, el sol bajando sobre el horizonte.... De película. La atención impecable, dedicada de todo el personal y los dueños acercándose a ver si todo estaba perfecto. Gracias!!!!!! Y la comida exquisita, con productos regionales de excelencia.Excelente relación precio calidad, y una extensa carta de vinos y postres hacen de la cena una experiencia especial. Gracias a todos!!!! 23/07/2025: Cucina buona ma non eccezionale. Locale curato e personale attento e disponibile. Pizzeria molto buona . Frequentato soprattutto da abitanti di Cefalù: quindi apprezzata in Loco e non solo x turisti

22/02/2026: We had a great time. The waitress (who grew up in Minnesota) was very friendly and attentive. The food was fresh and tasty, complimentary limoncello was a nice bonus.

22/11/2025: We had dinner here one evening in November. We were passing through this relatively unknown and unattractive location, but it was dinnertime, and on the recommendation of our B&B owner, we stopped for dinner at this restaurant. The food was good, but paying €25 for a risotto and €20 for spaghetti with mussels seemed excessive, considering the extremely small portion and the lackluster decor.

23/09/2025: We sat in a quit empty place but even though I speak Italian fluent and twice tried to get the waitress attention she complety ignored our company. The second time she instead smalltalked about where her parents came from with some other guests and just past us by. So don't bother go there, just walk about 75 meters away to a small but charming street nearby where you won't be ignored at the bars and restaurants.

13/09/2025: A nice place to relax after visiting all these beautiful Palermo cathedrals and monasteries. Otherwise — quite a basic place but with friendly staff. The bellini was refreshing!

19/09/2025: We celebrated our wedding at Il Pescheto on September 9th, and I want to thank the owner, Marco, and his entire staff for making our day even more special. We and all our guests were pampered throughout the reception. The food was delicious, and our relatives were more than satisfied. The helpfulness and kindness of the staff added to the beauty of the property, which, with its swimming pool and lawn, surrounded by a vineyard, provided the perfect backdrop for our wedding. 06/09/2025: We had dinner with a gourmet pizza round for €18 per person, a first for us. The pizzas were truly delicious, and the service from the young man who brought them was very courteous and professional. The welcome entree, mentioned on their Facebook page, consisted of two small glasses of finger food with caponata, beetroot cream, and a slice of pane cunzato... decidedly different from what was mentioned on Facebook and very disappointing. The pizzas didn't arrive to our stop as indicated on Facebook, but at a certain point they cleared our plates without even asking if we wanted a second pizza. We would have happily eaten another one, however. We asked for the bill but weren't asked if we wanted dessert, liqueur, or coffee first. Finally, paying €18 for children to eat a slice of pizza is certainly excessive. It's a shame, because I repeat, the pizzas are delicious, but the service and clarity need improvement.

26/12/2025: I celebrated my 18th birthday here, a horrible experience. Absolute disorganization, the DJ they hired was completely incompetent, only had 10 songs in his repertoire and to every request he would reply, "I don't have the song, I can't play it, I've never been in the small room, I don't know how to use anything." A waiter let people into my "private" party, I found myself strangers at the bar, and when my brother pointed this out, he was verbally assaulted by the same waiter. One of the two owners was also truly unprofessional and rude. We had politely asked if it was possible to have an extra tray of crepes (since it had fallen on the floor because of them), and here too we were verbally assaulted, we didn't get an extra portion, nor was we even reimbursed for it. Furthermore, I had sent them a photo of the cake I wanted, but they presented me with something completely different, totally different. If you can't throw an 18th birthday party, avoid organizing it! I wouldn't recommend it to anyone, honestly it just ruined my memory of what should have been the best night of my life.

01/11/2025: A wonderful stay in the heart of Assisi – perfect for groups! We stayed at the Hotel San Pietro with a group and felt very comfortable from the moment we arrived. The location is simply unbeatable – directly opposite the Church of San Pietro, just a short walk from the Basilica of San Francesco, and in close proximity to all the major sights. The entire staff was exceptionally friendly, attentive, and helpful. We received a warm welcome upon check-in, and all of our group's requests were met with a smile. The quiet, family-like atmosphere was particularly pleasant – you can tell that the staff here puts their heart into their work. The rooms are clean, well-maintained, and comfortably furnished. The breakfast buffet was plentiful and offered everything you need for a great start to the day – fresh pastries, fruit, cheese, cold cuts, and excellent coffee. The communal breakfast room is ideal for groups to begin the day in a relaxed atmosphere. Everything was also perfectly organized: Communication beforehand was straightforward, bus arrival was easy, and our group size was perfectly accommodated. 20/11/2025: The place looks beautiful because of the view. I celebrated my wedding there on 09-10-2025, the room was very dirty. I had prepared my own menu, which was completely distorted. They served me casarecce with jarred pesto and pickled mushrooms (seven for each dish, all disgustingly soupy). You can imagine the pasta that even tasted of vinegar. No decorations whatsoever on the plates. The rude owner said to a local person (pick these up and take them away). Of course, I didn't hear you. And it was better because it would have ruined my wedding. They didn't even have the delicatessen to remove the dust from the wedding cake. On the bill, they charged me €200 for Aperol Spritz. They told me that my guests consumed them. When I calculated, it was only 11 and not 30 as they said. The star I gave only goes to the DJ, who was really good.

06/01/2026: In Cefalù, a beautiful location, based on my experiences (maybe I attract them) and a place where it is very difficult, if not impossible, to eat well, perhaps tonight has hit rock bottom or almost, starting from the fact that with the appetizers still on the table they bring you the following courses, not because of speed of service, but rather because of a lack of communication between the kitchen and the dining room, with the waiter who did not know where to put the dishes, (appetizers a little above average) they bring my friend at the table the pasta with sardines that seems like the one from the cans that the brothers side dish in Palermo make, I had ordered a mushroom risotto (it was supposed to be with seafood, but alas they had run out of mussels and clams), my negligence did not read that there were pistachio nuggets, but the risotto that arrived at my table seemed only pistachio and some traces of mushrooms, totally tasteless so much so that I left it, as icing on the cake the kitchen was so quick that they forgot My friend's dish, grilled swordfish, I could go on, but I'll draw a veil of silence, reiterating that many of the places I've visited in Cefalù (again based on my experience) are fortunate to be located in a pearl of a seaside resort swarmed by tourists, and eating is still a must. The only positive note was the sommelier who served the drinks at the table.

25/12/2025: One of the worst experiences of our lives, a total disappointment that ruined our highly anticipated Sicily experience. We'd been recommended the adjacent restaurant, Il Gabbiano, but since it was closed, we settled on this one since it was the only one open. We ordered some truly tasteless appetizers. But after more than an hour of waiting, the main courses arrived, and there were truly no words: an insult to Italian and Sicilian cuisine. Raw spaghetti, stuck together, with a finger's worth of cooking water on the plate and no visible sauce. To top it all off, the staff kept arguing. Please stay away.

25/02/2026: Welcoming place, service, and waiters alike. Very fast and convenient. Top-quality toppings, the only downside is the somewhat burnt pizza, a shame. I'll definitely be back, hoping to update this review.

28/12/2025: Never trust the reviews... the property doesn't just have a hotel, but also rooms in the center of Bagheria. Very nice showers and excellent services, good cleaning as well. I got it at a great price for the Christmas period. I always found parking in the square near the church. Out of necessity, I had to stay an extra night and the lady who takes care of it immediately found me another accommodation in the same building nearby. You'll find everything, even a nice place where you can relax and drink good wine. It allows you to stay with the comforts it offers and didn't limit herself to fulfilling every request we had. If I have to highlight a shortcoming, well, there isn't one because in a property you have to look for a good shower and a good bed to be able to relax after a day discovering the wonders that Sicily and Palermo in particular have to offer. If you're looking for the comforts of home, then stay at your home.

19/10/2025: Starting from the assumption that this hotel was recommended to us, and unfortunately, we trusted them by booking without actually seeing anything, but... in hindsight, we made a terrible mistake. Zero welcome. I can wait 20 minutes for the owner to check me in when it's a B&B, not a hotel!!! The room... absolutely no comment. Aside from the style, which is unfortunately subjective and, as far as I'm concerned, taste is zero, stuck in the '80s... the room smelled, as soon as I opened the door, of mold, stuffiness, and sewerage, it was unbelievable... the windows had filthy curtains, one of which was broken and had to be pulled inside the window to keep it in place. As soon as we went to bed, I had to have the pillowcases changed because they were wrinkled, as if someone had leaned on them... the shower was quite suffocating because it was completely closed, but that's subjective too, the showerhead hook broke without any warning, so the showerhead decided to commit suicide on my toe, coming out red and swollen!!! Breakfast, another thing, no comment... very low quality... and, except for the coffee, only food. Juice, milk, squeezed juice... nothing, nothing!!!! You could have choked on not even a drop of water. No cutlery, just plates, so everyone practically grabs it with their hands. Then they serve cereal without milk, so as far as I'm concerned I could have thrown it in my face. Highly not recommended, absolutely not, I'll never stay here again. P.S. The only decent thing is the parking... too bad a few cockroaches showed up before we left, so no pest control!!!!
