22/12/2025: A simple little restaurant, but that doesn't mean it's not good quality. The menu is limited, but it has everything to satisfy those who want good food. I had the mussel soup with a very good, not too heavy sauce. The squid was also good, cooked properly and flavorful. Prices are reasonable, not expensive. The atmosphere is clean, and the service is friendly.

28/12/2025: Never trust the reviews... the property doesn't just have a hotel, but also rooms in the center of Bagheria. Very nice showers and excellent services, good cleaning as well. I got it at a great price for the Christmas period. I always found parking in the square near the church. Out of necessity, I had to stay an extra night and the lady who takes care of it immediately found me another accommodation in the same building nearby. You'll find everything, even a nice place where you can relax and drink good wine. It allows you to stay with the comforts it offers and didn't limit herself to fulfilling every request we had. If I have to highlight a shortcoming, well, there isn't one because in a property you have to look for a good shower and a good bed to be able to relax after a day discovering the wonders that Sicily and Palermo in particular have to offer. If you're looking for the comforts of home, then stay at your home.

26/04/2026: Yesterday, April 25th, my family and I went to eat at this restaurant. Since there were 11 of us, we obviously had reservations, and when we arrived, despite a few families passing us in line to get in, we sat down at the table. After a short chat, a waiter came to take our orders. We had ordered nine set menus, a children's menu, and a gluten-free menu. After a while, the appetizers for the set menus arrived.

25/04/2026: A very bad experience. The entrees were inedible, cold, and tasteless. The menu was disappointing and not worth the price. Definitely not to be repeated.

11/04/2026: I was expecting homemade pesto. It was Barilla-type pesto. Disappointing for a restaurant in a town like Cefalù.

10/04/2026: It was fantastic, the food was delicious, the service was super fast, and the atmosphere was great. I'm still raving about the caprese appetizer. 😍 I'd love to come back again.

15/02/2026: Carnival!!!! The food was really poor quality and poorly cooked. Poor organization and service. The entrance and alcohol prices were poor. The positive aspect was the music and entertainment!

05/07/2026: I thought I'd walked into a pizzeria. In reality, I'd unknowingly booked a multi-act play. 9:30 PM: We arrive, order five pizzas and a fried food. The fried food arrives after about 25 minutes, and that's when hope is born. Poor fools. From that moment, the epic wait begins. The tables that arrived after us are served with surprising punctuality, while ours is evidently chosen as a social experiment in human patience. When we ask for an explanation, we're told they've updated the timetable, "at their pleasure, I'd say," but we were "the last ones." Interesting theory, too bad at least three tables that arrived after us were already eating before our eyes. Meanwhile, we survey the rest of the room and discover the restaurant's new philosophy: here, eating is done in installments. Two diners eat, the other two cheer. An innovative format I'd never seen before. The cutlery arrives after being requested... and dirty, too. The glasses make their entrance with Olympian calm. The organization, however, remains backstage. At 11:04 PM, after a wait worthy of the arrival of a comet, the pizzas finally make their entrance. Applause. Curtain up? No. Because one pizza arrives without the buffalo mozzarella ordered. At that point, all that was missing was the sign "Continues next season." A suggestion: I would seriously consider changing the name of the restaurant from "La Buona Forchetta" to "La Dolce Attesa." It would be much more consistent with the experience offered. A shame, because an evening with friends should be accompanied by a good pizza, not two hours of suspense. If the goal was to make us hungry... mission accomplished. If it was to make us all eat together... definitely not.

02/05/2026: We booked a table online and received a confirmation email. When we arrived, the restaurant appeared to be closed permanently; there was no sign or notice. When we tried to call, the phone didn't even ring. It would be a good idea to update the information, or at least remove the option to book online.

06/01/2026: In Cefalù, a beautiful location, based on my experiences (maybe I attract them) and a place where it is very difficult, if not impossible, to eat well, perhaps tonight has hit rock bottom or almost, starting from the fact that with the appetizers still on the table they bring you the following courses, not because of speed of service, but rather because of a lack of communication between the kitchen and the dining room, with the waiter who did not know where to put the dishes, (appetizers a little above average) they bring my friend at the table the pasta with sardines that seems like the one from the cans that the brothers side dish in Palermo make, I had ordered a mushroom risotto (it was supposed to be with seafood, but alas they had run out of mussels and clams), my negligence did not read that there were pistachio nuggets, but the risotto that arrived at my table seemed only pistachio and some traces of mushrooms, totally tasteless so much so that I left it, as icing on the cake the kitchen was so quick that they forgot My friend's dish, grilled swordfish, I could go on, but I'll draw a veil of silence, reiterating that many of the places I've visited in Cefalù (again based on my experience) are fortunate to be located in a pearl of a seaside resort swarmed by tourists, and eating is still a must. The only positive note was the sommelier who served the drinks at the table.

05/07/2026: A poorly made spritz, a dish different from the one ordered, and a bill with prices different from those listed on their menu…

27/06/2026: We ordered three pizzas. Later, we were informed that the porcini pizza was missing the mushrooms and was replaced with mushrooms. The other two burrata pizzas were presented with mozzarella in the center that wasn't burrata. When asked for clarification, the owner told us that the burrata hadn't arrived from Naples that day, and they had replaced it with mozzarella. A complete failure, not to mention a mockery.

31/05/2026: After paying €1300 for a private room that wasn't private, leaving that aside, we entered at 11:30 PM. At 12:49 AM they closed for the evening and kicked us out. For no reason at all. Stay away from this place, and spend your money somewhere else.

31/05/2026: Great evening. The music stopped at 1:00 AM and all the flowers were in place at 1:30 AM. We'll definitely be back.

19/05/2026: Beware, they're still using the same trick as described two years ago. They promise to waive parking fees in the parking garage, but then refuse with trumped-up excuses, for example, because we didn't have lunch – even though I ordered something more expensive. Furthermore, the cashier was very unfriendly (after she even let her fellow countrymen go ahead of her in the queue). The food itself was okay.

15/05/2026: No lemonade, in a restaurant on Sicily! Only lemon soda, and we had to ask for ice ourselves. Service was quite indifferent and spoke no English. We had no cash to pay for our drinks, so we wanted to pay by card. This was not possible apparently, which is ridiculous in 2026, and even though the entrance says they support card payment. When I came back after trying several ATMs it was suddenly, but very reluctantly, possible to pay by card. It seems they just didn't want to go through the trouble for six euros. Ridiculous.
