09/05/2026: I wouldn't recommend it. The server seemed to be having a bad day; she was grumpy and unfriendly. I had the feeling she was working too hard. A little smile wouldn't hurt; it would make you feel welcome. But maybe they don't like tourists there? The food was bistro-level.

27/04/2026: We had a wide variety of appetizers, raw, marinated, cooked, seafood salads, mussels, etc., all exquisite and delicious, and to top it off, an excellent dish that was one of the best I've had in recent years... We paid a fair price for the quality of the food. I recommend it!!!

18/05/2026: My wife and I had dinner here to conclude our week in Sicily. Highly recommended. The spicy mussels were divine, the pasta superb, the Etna wine perfect, and the service very attentive and friendly. Reservations are essential, as it's always very busy! A top spot in Catania.

I love cuisine that explores unique flavors, capable of transforming every bite into a harmony of pleasure and sensation. Over the years, I've visited many restaurants throughout Europe, often following the recommendations of the Michelin Guide, but with experience, I've learned that stars don't always fully convey the true value of a restaurant. For this reason, I feel confident in saying that Coria, now awarded one Michelin star, easily deserves three. I've been frequenting this extraordinary restaurant since 2009, first in Caltagirone and then in Catania, and each time it still manages to surprise and excite me. The location is refined, the wine cellar is top-notch, but what truly makes Coria unique is the constant innovation of its dishes and its extraordinary ability to create flavors and combinations that remain etched in the memory. Each course is the result of passion, technique, research, and creativity. In all my years of visiting, I've never ceased to be amazed by the quality and consistency of their work. Congratulations to the entire staff for their commitment, professionalism, and dedication, which continue to represent one of the finest expressions of Italian dining. For me, Coria is simply a three-star restaurant. ⭐⭐⭐

21/04/2026: We’ve been to this restaurant four times in a row for dinner, and it’s been the best decision. The ingredients are always fresh, there’s a different daily special every day, and the waiter who served us could answer all our questions and even recommend places to visit as a tourist. If we ever go back to Sicily I’m sure we’re gonna visit this place again.

14/04/2026: On the recommendation of the B&B where we were staying, we booked a 5:00 PM dinner for two, one of whom was celiac. Despite the short notice, they were able to serve us excellent dishes, including gluten-free options, minimizing the difference between the dishes. The portions might be considered small, but given the complexity of the preparations and flavors, they're considered adequate. Everything was more than excellent, including the recommended wine.

Seby Sorbello's cuisine showcases each ingredient with great precision, without excess but with a well-defined personality. Sea and land interact harmoniously in every dish, expressed through balanced contrasts and refined textures. The spaghetti is excellent, intense and balanced, as is the dessert, delicate and never cloying, an elegant conclusion to the meal. The presentation is also meticulously crafted, simple and refined. The service is attentive, discreet, and always punctual, while the wine list intelligently complements each course. A restaurant that combines technique, flavor, and identity, leaving a lasting and pleasant memory. Recommended for those seeking refined yet authentic cuisine.

17/05/2026: After my first not so good meal in Italy in 3 weeks last night, I spotted Trattoria da Nuccio on a small side street off the busy area in Catania historic centre. So glad I did. It was perfect, exactly what I wanted, a simple delicious lunch at reasonable cost, with great service. I had the Cotto a Sote de Pesce (cooked fish stew) with a side of grilled red peppers, and bread for dipping. Fantastic.

17/05/2026: I want to enjoy my food 100% – unfortunately, that wasn't the case there. My appetizer – raw shrimp – tasted of nothing but smelled rather strange. The pasta was supposed to be with garlic and chili, but it had hardly any flavor and no spice at all; the sauce was watery. I haven't eaten this badly in two months in Sicily. And the cover charge was a joke – just dry bread, no oil or butter, no seasoning whatsoever: €5 per person!!

16/06/2026: Lovely restaurant, real local buzz. Food was great. Had a lovely arancini to start, Caesar salad and pasta dish. Shared it all, perfect!

15/06/2026: Excellent food. The service was good, with one small complaint: a waiter who might have been having some issues on Saturday night. The black walls, which are very popular, make the atmosphere feel stuffy. All of this is topped off by the amazing pizza, which keeps me thinking until the last bite. How good is it? Excellent wine list and a wide selection of beers.

26/04/2026: We chose to dine here during an overnight stay in the area, and it couldn't have been a better choice. It's a small, very well-kept restaurant, with extremely helpful staff, including the waitress who was very friendly and engaging. The selection of local wines is truly interesting, with the owner guiding you through the selection based on your dishes. We tried the appetizers, first courses, and second courses, all truly excellent, made with local ingredients. Fair prices.

26/04/2026: The food was delicious. We had Margherita pizza, and it was one of the best we've ever had. The restaurant didn't look particularly appealing from the outside, but the interior was much nicer. The staff was friendly and attentive.
