Just before entering the Borgetto you will find a car park as the tavern does not have one. 07/08/2024: The pizzas are good but we regret the use of not fresh ingredients like olives and canned mushrooms, a little disappointing. The staff is very friendly despite not always optimal service during peak hours. The setting is pleasant but the tables are a little crowded.

03/08/2024: Good typical Piedmontese mixed starter, first courses a good portion, truffle tagliolini a little bland, good mushroom risotto and shampagne perhaps a little ahead in cooking, sorbet a little expensive but still a nice cup, courteous service, for my tastes even too formal in some moments, I prefer a more casual service but these are personal opinions, the bill is in line with other restaurants in the category

16/07/2024: Ho pranzato domenica e il primo impatto è stato superlativo: c'era la mia cagnolina che è stata accolta da tutto il personale come una diva e hanno portato subito una ciotola d'acqua per lei! Per me non è scontato... Location molto, molto bella, abbiamo gustato l'ottimo antipasto Pinin (e già con le 15 e più portate sarebbero state sufficienti), poi abbiamo preso il loro riso con porcini e champagne: non so nemmeno io come descrivere la bontà del piatto e concluso con il dolce. Grazie a tutti per l'accoglienza, la gentilezza e la professionalità che ci avete riservato. Ci rivedremo prestissimo!!!

22/05/2024: Good yes but not worth the trip. This morning we decided to go to Novara for a tour and then take advantage and stop for breakfast here. What can we say for the name of the chef we would have expected a higher quality of both the products and the service. We took 2 cappuccinos, 1 Gianduia brioche and 1 pears and chocolate total 8.50. Cappuccino that wasn't a cappuccino as the foam wasn't whipped correctly so it was a coffee and milk. Good brioches but compared to, for example, Massari or Marchesi we are far behind.

04/05/2024: I went for an aperitif and had dinner once, but I don't like seeing it closed without any sign giving explanations at all. Now I saw on the site that it is closed for the winter period, but the winter period is over... 🤔😡 What a bad image it makes...!!!

28/06/2024: Location discreta, personale giovane disinteressato, annoiato, un bar del centro con velleità culinarie con uno scarso rapporto qualità/prezzo.....nei dintorni ci sono realtà dove se ne esce più soddisfatti. Esperienza fatta e messa nel "dimenticatoio"

17/08/2024: Cozy and good pizza with wholemeal flour, welcoming place, excellent spaghetti with seafood and affordable prices, incredible food Today we went to the Giara for a pizza, I was really craving it and to my surprise I noticed that you can make pizza with fennel seed dough and wholemeal flour, I have to say it was very good, every bite tastes the fennel seeds, obviously to those who like it, it's a blast, thanks girls 👍 Today mid-August we booked at this restaurant and unfortunately it didn't go very well for a series of things We arrived and there was already a couple waiting, we entered and probably the kitchen wasn't ready as they didn't come to take orders, when they left they did them at random, that is, whoever arrived after us was served first! And then I had a starter of ham with melon and figs... it was good but I was expecting more figs, it was only 1 divided in half, while the spaghetti was tasteless, instead of having that good fishy taste, it wasn't there, let's hope for the next one

30/07/2024: The lake sashimi is exquisite. The starter of prawns and watermelon with Campari was also excellent. The homemade duck dishes are delicious. I would suggest increasing the portion of the black cabbage risotto. Well trained staff. Location in excellent position. Adequate account.

20/07/2024: Very beautiful view of the lake. The staff is pleasant but that's it. Caesar salad with raw chicken in the middle. 3 langoustines of a good size but no pliers to break the legs.

05/08/2024: Siamo stati in questo ristorante incuriositi perché dei nostri amici ce l’avevano consigliato dicendo che si mangiava molto bene, allora noi con altre aspettative decidiamo di andare e devo dire che il ristorante è davvero carino anche esternamente: disponeva di tavoli in un vicoletto a fianco a un altro ristorante. Il sushi devo dire super buono particolare davvero top. Ho dato tre stelle solo per il fatto che l’attesa era davvero lunga: ci siamo accomodati alle 7:30 e ci hanno servito alle 20:30 ma il sushi ha ripagato l’attesa. Se comunque avete la pazienza di aspettare un po’ ve lo consiglio!
