14/08/2025: Excellent experience at this restaurant: the food is delicious and very well prepared. The service is impeccable, with a much-appreciated effort in speaking French. We highly recommend it.

19/10/2025: Mediocre food, service that would be better without it. The atmosphere? Indoors, with birds eating with you. Unfortunately, being the only restaurant in the area allows them to treat customers however they want. I won't return, nor will I recommend it. Unfortunately, 0 doesn't exist, because otherwise, it would be the rating that best reflects the restaurant.

13/10/2025: I booked at Ristorante San Giulio for my mom's birthday, and I have to say we were thrilled! The menu was excellent, every dish delicious and meticulously crafted; the cake we commissioned was delicious and stunning; our table was on the covered terrace overlooking the lake; and the very kind, attentive, and professional staff made this a truly wonderful experience. Highly recommended! We'll definitely be back!

13/06/2025: The cooking is still done by hand and with a lot of imagination. The prices are fair and absolutely reasonable. I had tortelloni filled with pumpkin and amatetto filling. My wife had catfish dumplings with polenta. The starter, a perch fillet with dried zucchini, was free... Also free were the faces of the Teutons who expected something different on their plates.

02/11/2025: We went to Pinin restaurant a few weeks ago to celebrate my 30th birthday. We had a lovely table with friends and family, and despite the large number, the service was excellent. Since it was a birthday, we opted for a set menu, which everyone loved. Excellent food, fast service, and super helpful staff. I recommend it to everyone!!

19/11/2025: The hotel has a great location by the lake, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. They're very fond of children and dogs. Our dog was allowed everywhere in the hotel. The small green area by the gravel parking lot is lovely for watching the sunset in the evening. However: the food is way too expensive. The portions are so tiny. €15 for spaghetti with tomato sauce and burrata cheese, and then you get such an incredibly small portion. My partner's meal wasn't much bigger, but it was even more expensive. There are stairs everywhere, which makes it very difficult with a stroller, especially if you want to go to breakfast. Not every baby can sit in the IKEA car seat they offer for that long. Of course, you could leave the stroller in the room, but that's really inconvenient for very young children. Breakfast is the same every single day. And I mean exactly the same. Two or three types of cold cuts, two or three types of cheese, two types of rolls and toast... and the coffee wasn't exactly the best. A shame for Italy... Unfortunately, the dishes were often dirty and the scrambled eggs were often cold. The Wi-Fi in the room was very poor. Streaming was impossible. Which isn't exactly normal in 2022. Not everyone watches ZDF and ARD. The rooms were also very noisy. We prayed every night that our baby wouldn't cry for the sake of the other guests. Luckily, it didn't. Cleanliness was good, so we can't complain about that. The fold-out bed in the room was loose. We only noticed because something fell off and we had to open it. I wouldn't want to sleep on it; it would definitely tip over. Generally, quite a few things were worn or had defects. Regarding the location: if you want to go into town, you have to walk about 200 meters along the road because there's no sidewalk. There is a small strip of grass, but it's no help with a stroller. For cyclists, however, the hotel is a great starting point for a ride around the lake or other routes. ... If you're traveling without a baby and a dog, you can find a few days of peace and quiet at this hotel. Unfortunately, it wasn't for us.

30/10/2025: This hotel is perfect. The staff is lovely. The restaurant is really very good and child-friendly (children's menus and high chairs). Ideal location.

21/06/2025: Aperitif with friends: the vegetarian option was disappointing, they practically removed the meat part from the non-vegetarian menu and therefore we practically had less to eat. While on the one hand they offer a platter of cold cuts and cheeses, in the vegetarian one you cannot leave only 3 pieces of cheese, an alternative to cold cuts should be found.

13/06/2025: I ate the creamed cod, but unfortunately I didn't like it. The dish was served with a cream of carrots and blueberry puree. Not only that the cod was bland, tasteless, there was not a trace of garlic or bay leaves or pepper, a shame because I really like cod.

16/11/2025: Charming Italian hotel near Stresa, right by the lake. We had a short but sweet stay last September—relaxing, peaceful, and full of lovely views. Definitely left us wanting to return!

25/10/2025: Great restaurant. The atmosphere is super cozy. The 60s soul funk music is incredibly cool. We were there in October, and the small fireplace was on, which made it even cozier. The dog got water. The service was very friendly. The food was sensational. We were very impressed!

13/10/2025: We visited this restaurant on our way back from a weekend in the Ossola Valley and had a great time. The food was excellent, the service was fast, and the staff were very kind...they even pointed us in the right direction to get home! We enjoyed the appetizers (seafood salad and spinach flan with creamed parmesan), the taiarine pasta with fish ragù, and a mixed fried lake fish dish...all excellent...and the view of the lake!

09/11/2025: A very nice lakefront restaurant where I always stop… when I can find a table. The only problem is finding a seat because it's always packed. The food is generally very good. There's always a wide selection of pizzas and restaurants. This time I had a pizza called Etna, which isn't a special pizza. It's a puffed piadina-like crust with culatello on top and arugula, cherry tomatoes, and mozzarella inside. Fabulous. The staff is always very friendly.

08/11/2025: The food is very good, but the pasta dishes are frankly very small. I went in hungry and left almost empty after eating my four ravioli. You'd be better off getting lasagna or a pizza. Otherwise, it was quite busy and the staff were friendly.
