05/08/2025: Il mio giudizio in generale non può essere positivo in assoluto. Soprattutto per il riso Nerone con zola e gamberi. Quest’ultimi chiaramente decongelati, non scongelati al momento e non dichiarati nel menu. Per il resto delle pietanze ordinate posso esprimere un giudizio nella media. Non si percepisce quell’empatia che invece ci deve essere. Bisognerebbe fare un salto di qualità.

04/08/2025: Fanno turni. Ergo se volete un pasto rilassante non è il posto giusto. Essendo al primo turno, dopo un'ora che stavamo considerando, senza grossi problemi ci hanno fatto intendere che dovevamo alzarci e andarcene.

24/07/2025: An excellent experience that offered me the chance to enjoy some excellent appetizers, or rather, the legendary Pinin appetizer, which consists of an absurd number of courses, and an equally legendary mushroom risotto that, besides being excellent, is also truly filling; then a dessert consisting of amazing ice cream combined with delicious fruit.

13/06/2025: The cooking is still done by hand and with a lot of imagination. The prices are fair and absolutely reasonable. I had tortelloni filled with pumpkin and amatetto filling. My wife had catfish dumplings with polenta. The starter, a perch fillet with dried zucchini, was free... Also free were the faces of the Teutons who expected something different on their plates.

26/08/2025: The place isn't very big, so reservations are definitely recommended, but it's very nice, and it also has a welcoming outdoor area, which was perfect when we were there in mid-August.

24/06/2025: We celebrated our wedding in this wonderful place on Lake Orta, and we can only say beautiful words about that perfect day. Enchanting and suggestive place, impeccable service, superlative food. There was not a detail that was not taken care of to perfection. We thank Il Giardinetto infinitely for making our wedding unique, and we recommend it wholeheartedly. I would add that we have attended it on other occasions, both for our son's baptism, and for dinner and aperitif and we can only confirm the same satisfaction every time. 29/08/2025: Magnificent lunch overlooking the lake. We had lunch at this restaurant on San Giulio Island, which has a fantastic terrace overlooking the lake. A wide selection of both fish and meat dishes is available. A tasting menu is also available. The lakeside tasting menu is highly recommended; the dishes were beautifully executed and delicious. Excellent value and a magnificent location. Friendly staff. Highly recommended for an unforgettable meal on Lake Orta.

18/07/2025: A wonderful discovery in the Orta San Giulio square. The food and service were excellent (the waitress was lovely and professional), the dishes were of high quality and the view of the lake was breathtaking. We highly recommend it.

18/07/2025: On 8th July, we ate on the sunny terrace on the piazza, with beautiful views of the port, lake, island and magnificent surrounding buildings. A very professional and helpful waitress served us delicious pasta and drinks in this smart but still casual atmosphere. The restaurant was very busy and we managed to get one of the last two tables. We had a lovely time and would return. Thank you!

01/04/2025: Più di un’ora di attesa per il primo, un’altra ora per il secondo Camerieri gentili e loro stessi imbarazzati per il l’attesa. Piatti freddi e scarsi. Bella vista.

21/06/2025: Aperitif with friends: the vegetarian option was disappointing, they practically removed the meat part from the non-vegetarian menu and therefore we practically had less to eat. While on the one hand they offer a platter of cold cuts and cheeses, in the vegetarian one you cannot leave only 3 pieces of cheese, an alternative to cold cuts should be found.

13/06/2025: I ate the creamed cod, but unfortunately I didn't like it. The dish was served with a cream of carrots and blueberry puree. Not only that the cod was bland, tasteless, there was not a trace of garlic or bay leaves or pepper, a shame because I really like cod.

16/08/2025: I stopped in on the evening of Ferragosto (August 15th) for a quick pizza. A welcoming, informal place with a fairly varied selection of pizzas (including rolled pizzas). Tasty first courses. Good value. Always busy during the week for business lunches.

12/08/2025: Maybe I came on the wrong night, but I have to say no. On a Monday evening that wasn't at all crowded, I ordered three pizzas and a pasta dish at 7:50 PM. The pasta arrived, after numerous reminders, at 8:30 PM (other tables served first, but arrived later). The pizza arrived at 9 PM, mine with burnt buffalo mozzarella on the edge and half a mozzarella. When the pizzas arrived, the waitresses apologized (the order was probably forgotten), but in the end, not even a discount. €75 for this, plus two fiordilatte ice creams, a Catalana, and a coffee. Never again.

04/08/2025: The pizza is super good and the food is really excellent, the waiters are very good. The only flaw I would say is that the lady who handles the cash register, in my opinion, should be a little more smiling and more "friendly".

20/07/2025: Hospitality and courtesy are the hallmarks of the Pellicano staff. They're very helpful and take care of their customers. Very attentive service. The food is excellent. Excellent quality, excellent prices.

From Meina everything is easily accessible for tourism and discovering the beauties of Lake Maggiore! We will definitely be back! Thanks to all the staff! 10/08/2025: Excellent food, adequate service. The only drawback was the incorrect bill (an extra bottle of water) and lack of transparency (a bottle of wine was missing from the cellar, replaced with a "sub-brand" one, but the price remained unchanged, not stated on the menu).
