13/10/2025: We visited this restaurant on our way back from a weekend in the Ossola Valley and had a great time. The food was excellent, the service was fast, and the staff were very kind...they even pointed us in the right direction to get home!
We enjoyed the appetizers (seafood salad and spinach flan with creamed parmesan), the taiarine pasta with fish ragù, and a mixed fried lake fish dish...all excellent...and the view of the lake!

26/04/2026: This restaurant and pizzeria is just a few minutes' walk from Orta's historic center, overlooking the lake. We had tasty, hearty meals. There are tables both inside and out. There's a multi-story parking garage right next door.

At 10:30 PM, still nothing, and reception was no longer answering the phone.
They leave customers without answers or a solution.

08/05/2026: The view fades into the background when the waiter hits a pigeon on the next table with a can over the head to scare it away. The staff doesn't seem to care, as they didn't even look up when I pointed it out. Animal cruelty is a serious issue in any context, and it's painful to see how far this concept still extends, especially among those who profit from the lake.
01/05/2026: We went for lunch today. The staff was very friendly, everything was delicious, and the atmosphere was welcoming. Congratulations!

"Hello, good morning, can we sit down?"
"How many of you are there?" (There were two of us, clearly visible to the waiter).
"There are two of us."
The waiter nods, indicating the *empty* tables.
He doesn't even say, "Please take a seat," or "Sure, go ahead."
As soon as he nodded to us to sit down, we continued on and left.
Goodbye.
27/04/2026: Everything was great, the pizzas were delicious, the staff were friendly, and above all, the prices were very reasonable, so I highly recommend it. However, it's best to book ahead, as the pizzeria is very popular.

09/04/2026: Run by the owners, the pizzas were excellent, made with a stone-baked crust and an exquisite recipe overseen by them. The ingredients were of the highest quality, and the staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, especially to tourists like myself. Thank you so much for the pizzas; it was a lovely evening with my aunt and uncle.
09/04/2026: Friendly welcome. We were allowed to order the daily specials, which consisted of two courses. The pasta pomodoro was served very quickly and was delicious. The main courses were also very good, offering excellent value for money. Highly recommended. Thank you for your hospitality.

22/04/2026: Normal pizza... a little thin and... it's a shame that I asked for speck in exchange for cooked ham and porcini mushrooms in place of the Champions, that is, two slices and 4 pieces... it cost me 4 euros more... perhaps it would have been better to specify to add and not replace the ingredients

We visited this place on a Sunday evening and were truly satisfied.
We were traveling with two children, and the staff was incredibly kind to them, even providing them with crayons and a placemat to draw on, as well as colorful glasses and cutlery.
They offer a wide variety of dishes, from sushi (delicious) to truly delicious traditional dishes.
The price is a bit high, but absolutely in line with the service and quality of the food.
Highly recommended!

05/05/2026: We stayed two nights at this hotel. We chose half board and had a great time. The rooms and the entire property were very clean. The meals were plentiful, as was breakfast. Dining on the terrace overlooking the lake was a lovely experience. The village of Lesa is very charming; you can take a lovely stroll along the lakeside, and there are many bars with views where you can enjoy an aperitif. The owners are very friendly and welcoming. We'll be back. Thank you.
30/03/2026: Superbly located hotel right on the lake.
The room was behind the hotel/restaurant. Not suitable for a quiet, relaxing sleep 😅 as the road was noisy and the windows weren't soundproof. Ideal for a one-night stopover.

What can I say?
Sublime ingredients, breathtaking preparation, and indescribable flavor (the octopus was exquisite, excellently prepared).
They served us a top-quality wine, and the service was perfect.
21 steps from the sea? Absolutely! In fact, the sea was on your table!
