01/07/2026: The ambiance speaks for itself, the service is impeccable and very courteous. Be wary of anyone who claims the wait is very long. Battipalo offers a menu (even without a tasting menu) where they try to showcase their unique identity. I sat for 2 hours and 15 minutes, but I didn't feel the wait bothering me at all. The dishes are excellent; I'd also like to provide some feedback (as a customer) despite an excellent rating. The ravioli base was sensational, the texture and cooking of the lamb was truly excellent, and the only personal recommendation for the zucchini (appetizer) would be something that contrasts with the salsa verde at the base (it's a bit tiring to finish). The dessert was very good (I ordered the puff pastry), not the restaurant's strong point, but still very pleasant.
Finally, the wine selection is very broad and of high quality. My only suggestion would be to recommend or direct the service to a wine (not necessarily a specific winery or region) based on the dishes you order, at least for the tasting menu.
Highly recommended, and I recommend this experience to everyone, thank you for everything (I hope you read me).

05/07/2026: For us, it's a favorite place; it's like coming home. The atmosphere is very comfortable and relaxing. The owners are young and friendly, and the staff is friendly and efficient, but never intrusive.
The quality of the food is excellent. Highly recommended.

05/07/2026: There's no physical menu or wine list; everything is spoken to you by the hostess. The menu is sparse and not freshly prepared, but is praised by an excellent minstrel. The girls provide excellent service, but are constantly reprimanded by the owner, who also smokes inside in front of customers, a sore point for a place that pretends to be impeccable. The bill is definitely unjustified: house appetizers, two main courses, a dessert, two coffees, and a bottle of Caluso white wine. €140 without any supporting invoice. It's practically a world unto itself, where tourists are ripped off and that's it. Someone should monitor certain locations, because by law, prices must be displayed, and the right to choose whether or not to enter is a given. A terrible experience.

The atmosphere is exquisite, the service is friendly.
You can't order; they bring you a variety of typical Piedmontese appetizers, and then you can choose a risotto (always excellent, depending on the season: with mushrooms, cagnun with perch, or even with strawberries) or homemade ravioli. Second courses, depending on the season, include English-style Fassona beef or goose...
The price is commensurate with the location.
I come back often and bring guests when I want to make a good impression.
