01/01/2026: We visited Ostello Alpino on several occasions, both in winter and during the summer months. We never stayed as guests in the hostel so my review is only based on the experience we had at the bar having coffee and drinks. The place is very original, colorful and refreshing. The staff is very kind, professional and friendly. I especially liked the colorful posters hanging on their walls and I plan on buying one of them for my apartment. The coffee and drinks were very good both enjoyed near the fireplace or in their spacious and relaxing summer garden. It’s a place I always look forward to returning whenever I come to Bormio.

05/02/2026: Let's start with the positives: The ambiance is wonderful, the wine very carefully selected and perfectly paired with the food. Ultimately, however, we felt the value for money wasn't quite right. Unfortunately, the mussels weren't entirely fresh during our visit, and some of the dishes seemed rather bland and unimaginative. The portions aren't really designed for a large appetite. While the food is beautifully presented, overall I'd say it's more style than substance. Nevertheless, it was a lovely evening – with room for improvement.

17/01/2026: We had lunch at the agriturismo, the food was excellent and reasonably priced. The meat and cheeses were locally sourced, served impeccably. The desserts prepared by the pastry chef were also delicious. I recommend them for a lunch featuring typical Valtellina flavors. The location is very elegant and the service is attentive, with a very friendly and welcoming waiter.

07/12/2025: We came all the way from Milan specifically to admire this fabulous view, ruined by tasteless dishes. Bland cured meats (except for the lard—in fact, I gained weight because I only ate that—and the spicy butter). The sciatt were sloppy, and I stared blankly at this fantastic view while chewing on bland pizzoccheri. Let's just say it wasn't worth it. Next time, I'll eat them at home while looking at a beautiful photo. The decorative antipasti salad is recommended. The owner was as cold as the outside temperature. But my internal anger became very hot when I was stuck on the road home for more than 40 minutes without being notified by her. Summary: never again.

01/12/2025: All good: Beautiful atmosphere, kind and attentive staff, good food and wines. View of the city of Tirano (if seated on the veranda). Tried: sciatt, cured meats, risotto; venison.

28/02/2026: Very disappointed with the service and forced to take the €40 set menu when I only wanted one dish. I do not recommend it.

19/02/2026: Inedible pizzoccheri for €18, a can of soda for €5, and a terrible tzigoiner for about €30! At those prices, I'd go to Gavioli, Al Filo, or Guanella and eat 10 times better for less!!! ABSOLUTELY NOT RECOMMENDED! NOT TO MENTION THE BEEF FILLET SOLD FOR €40 WHEN IT WASN'T FILLET BUT RUM, AND IT WAS OBSCENELY PLATED! The place is also dirty and old, like it was in the 1980s...

25/01/2026: I visited Roxy Bar Ristorante – Pizzeria after seeing quite a few reviews criticising the service, but I have to say my experience was the complete opposite; I was treated absolutely fantastically from start to finish. My waiter, Lewis, a Colombian chap, was genuinely magnificent. He was professional, polite, friendly, and humorous, and he honestly made the whole meal. Service was quick, attentive, and relaxed , exactly what you want at the end of a long day (Gracias hermano!). I ordered a quattro formaggi pizza and the vino della casa, and both arrived promptly and tasted lovely. The food was straightforward, comforting, and well-priced, and the restaurant really does what it says on the tin. This isn’t a Michelin-star restaurant, and it’s not trying to be — it’s a proper pizzeria, and if you want a reasonably priced meal at the end of the day, this is a great place to come. Just don’t turn up expecting fine dining… and you’ll leave very happy. ⸻

08/01/2026: I loved this hotel. The room was beautiful, comfortable, and had duvets that made you want to stay all day. The restaurant for dinner was also excellent: a pleasant atmosphere and delicious food. Definitely an experience to repeat.

08/01/2026: The workers are really funny and cute and the waiters serve the food really fast while the food is very good made by the cook and I recommend this hotel so so much because you can have a very nice time in here!

14/02/2026: We were sat immediately but were then avoided and ignored by all staff for over 30 minutes. No drinks no water no nothing. After many attempts to make eye contact or get attention from those serving the tables around us, we walked out and went to another place nearby. Very frustrating experience.

04/03/2026: The entire impression of the food and ambience was spoiled by a very rude and uncultured worker who is a waitress. She mostly works in the first shift. She has blonde hair and is short. At 7:00 in the morning she didn't allow us to sit in an empty bar because it was RESERVED. I do the same job in another country with a much larger volume than this restaurant, but I haven't come across such rudeness for a long time. she came to take the order, my friend went to her while he was ordering, she looked at him for a while and didn't even look at him. I will never enter this restaurant again and I do not recommend it. A shame.
