26/07/2024: I stopped for a quick lunch break. Very good pizza by the slice, well cooked and with quality ingredients. The place is very nice and genuine... I had a great time. I will definitely return if passing through the area.

06/08/2024: Giovedì 1° Agosto abbiamo celebrato il compleanno di Lady Barbie Jones, mia moglie, presso il Ristorante CORTEVECCHIA, situato all’inizio del cento storico di Arese. Ampio parcheggio pubblico in Piazza della Repubblica a 100 metri dall’ingresso del Ristorante. Vi Siamo andati, incuriositi ed attratti dalla cucina siciliana, in compagnia di una coppia di amici. Innanzitutto il Ristorante CORTEVECCHIA, si caratterizza per l’eleganza e la cura dei dettagli che traspare anche dalla location in pieno centro storico e, come accennato, a due passi dalla zona pedonale. Si può cenare sia all’interno sia all’esterno, nel giardino: interno con aria condizionata giardino con ventilatore; Noi abbiamo cenato nel giardino (e per fortuna non troppo afoso), ma ritengo che all’interno l’aria condizionata avrebbe rinfrescato meglio i nostri spiriti. Come anticipato la cucina di uno chef siciliano presenta nel menù alcune prelibatezze tipiche della cucina mediterranea ed in particolare di quella siciliana. Venendo a Noi abbiamo preso Antipasti per 4, di cui 3 TIEPIDA DI MARE a base di Calamari, polpo, seppie, gamberi e cozze ed 1 CARCIOFO ALLA ROMANA ripieno di BACCALA’ MANTECATO. Abbiamo poi proseguito con 1 GRIGLIATA DI MARE comprendente Tonno, pesce spada, calamaro, gamberoni e scampi, 1 PESCE SPADA MEDITERRANEO ALLA PANTESCA a base di capperi e origano di Pantelleria, patate, pomodorino, cipolla rossa e olive, 1 CALAMARO RIPIENO AI SAPORI MEDITERRANEI ovvero con Pinoli, uva passa, pangrattato, cacio ragusano, prezzemolo, aglio, semi finocchietto, e per concludere 1 ASTICE ALLA CATALANA (mezzo astice) con verdure croccanti di stagione, a richiesta cipolla rossa di Tropea. 4 dessert, il tutto innaffiato da una ottima bottiglia di Prosecco VALDOBBIADENE e … tanta, tanta acqua. Prezzo Finale Euro 150 a coppia, in linea con la qualità più che discreta della cena. Personale discreto e professionale, infra settimana non c’era confusione e meglio si è apprezzata la cucina e la location.

01/08/2024: Spectacular restaurant in Arese. With a colleague we ordered 2 mixed fish grills. Simply divine, both in the choice of raw materials and in the presentation of the dish. Superlative service. Everything was really excellent, well done, well done!!!

21/07/2024: Imagine a hot summer Sunday and a semi-deserted Milan, nothing better than a lunch in a romantic and welcoming place. Sunday lunch outdoors, under a wisteria pergola, pleasant, enlivened by delicious food. The service was attentive, smiling and friendly. A Sunday in the city that has nothing to envy of a trip out of town.

21/07/2024: When we say THE CASE: it so happened that, having received several Smartboxes among the wedding gifts, we used one to treat ourselves to an evening of tasting. We book and already notice kindness and professionalism. Once we arrive on site we find a very intimate and reserved place where Davide welcomes us and explains our offer which included a vegetarian tasting menu but, if we want, we can vary it with the various proposals on the weekly menu (which is absolutely not a given in other places) very vast, both fish and meat. We order 2 first courses and 2 second courses of fish: tagliatelle with squid and rocket, paccheri with bream sauce, second course swordfish tartare with toasted almonds, spinach and lemon zest salad, sea bass on a bed of courgettes. ALL DIVINE, prepared with care of the detail of a starred restaurant! Especially the tagliatelle, a real JOURNEY! P.s. given the size of the venue, booking is highly recommended. Do it! You won't regret it. Thank you Davide and all the staff for your kindness first and foremost and for the love you put into your work. We will definitely be back and not alone.

20/07/2024: Truly a nice discovery. You eat divinely. There is a menu of the week with different dishes from the à la carte menu. Small but comfortable and friendly environment. Friendly and pleasant staff. Excellent value for money. Absolutely to return. Thank you

03/09/2024: On a weekend at the end of the summer in Milan, I had a fantastic experience, now I'll tell you why. Barzac Milano was founded by a wonderful couple from Piacenza, Pier and Germana; they created a small place (about 20 seats) but, as they say, with a big heart! As you can see from the photos attached to my review, the place is furnished in a truly original way, with many beautiful details (mainly red) and the beautiful wall full of excellent bottles of wine. The menu is full of traditional dishes, simply excellent and well presented (I recommend you visit their website or Instagram page, so you will be able to see the beautiful dishes they create). The aspect that, above all else, would make me immediately return is the friendliness, friendliness and kindness of Pier and Germana; speaking with them you can perceive all the love they feel for this work and for their land, Emilia-Romagna. I absolutely recommend it, a place not to be missed.

Ottimo il servizio con un plauso ad Alice che con la simpatia e la professionalità ha aggiunto la sesta stella. Complimenti!

10/08/2024: Returning to this restaurant after some time, I found the beautiful, sober and elegant Milanese atmosphere that distinguishes it. Nice choice of starters, rich menu and everything was delicious. And I confirm that the Milanese ossobuco with its accompanying yellow risotto is an experience, this dish alone... is worth a trip to Milan!

22/07/2024: Unexpectedly, I found this wonderful restaurant, which doesn’t promise anything from the outside, but behind the door you practically find yourself in a greenhouse and a cozy garden. The cuisine is original and refined. I really enjoyed the dinner. This is now my favorite restaurant in Milan.
