08/05/2025: La comida es muy buena y se obtiene una buena relación calidad-precio, el personal es muy amable. En el lado negativo está la visita. Teníamos una mesa afuera, y había una cola para entrar al restaurante. Los visitantes en la fila nos golpearon con sus bolsas y se inclinaron sobre nosotros para ver el menú en la pared, totalmente sin cortesía ni respeto. Otros invitados que se sentaron afuera aullaban y gritaban. El restaurante es muy concurrido y ruidoso, y hay mucho calor en el interior. Quizás tuvimos mala suerte que citó durante el almuerzo ocupado, pero sigue siendo una pena porque la comida es excelente!

01/05/2025: Almorzamos aquí. El precio de la comida está bien, por dentro hace mucho calor, no hay aire acondicionado. En el y, un restaurante promedio, nada especial.

23/08/2025: A gem in Milan. A must-see. This restaurant in Cadorna, Vincenzo Monti 33, offers a comfortable and welcoming space. The food is exquisite and varied. However, the best part is Giovanni, the manager, the heart of this fantastic place, who advises his guests with great professionalism and warmth, guiding them through their choices. We will return and recommend Mamma Oliva to anyone who comes to Milan. 5 Crazy for Italy.

20/08/2025: The pizza is truly excellent, with fresh ingredients and well-prepared. The desserts are also very good and worth the price. The only thing that could be improved is the service: the staff seems a bit cold. Overall, however, the experience was positive.

31/07/2025: Bread was cold and stale. Pasta was tasteless. No one wondered why I returned a plate uneaten. Save your money. Many places worth eating at in the neighbourhood. This isn't one of them.

23/07/2025: I hate writing bad reviews but I feel a need to warn other visitors from being treated badly and being offered disgusting food at this place. Ignoring staff, bad tasting food. How did they get above 4 star rating??? We waited for food over an hour. During our wait none of the waiters asked if we needed anything. They were not interested in offering more water which should be a standard especially on a hot day. Food arrived cold and bad tasting. Each person in our group ordered a different meal, and each meal was bad. Very disappointed.

02/05/2025: Plats originaux et extrêmement bien cuisinés, service attentionné et très bonne carte des vins à prix raiisonnables. Le meilleur repas de notre séjour se 4 jours à Milan!

23/04/2025: I visited it on Friday evening with 10 friends. We spent 42 euros each for a plate of pasta and water. I had pasta with clams and bottarga, the pasta was hard, without seasoning and with a lot of chilli (without asking if we wanted it). They didn't bring us bread and condiments (oil..). My friend had mixed fried fish, it wasn't even a dish. They also made a mistake in the calculation, we all paid different amounts even though it was done divided by 10. It's not a fishmonger, it's a restaurant that cooks fish.

15/04/2025: I celebrated my fortieth with a group of friends and everything was perfect. From the welcome of the staff, their professionalism and friendliness to the very high quality of the food. Both my guests and I enjoyed everything very much. The prices are very affordable given the quality of the dishes. Really satisfied, congratulations to all. See you soon.

17/08/2025: Inspired by the reviews and an Instagram video, I decided to give it a try. The mussel and clam soup was completely tasteless. Where was the sea? Just oil and tomatoes. The tuna steak was incredibly salty. The grilled fish was bland and tough. Only the octopus salad was a good thing. No service. I was left without cutlery for a while, and they completely forgot about us. Good fish is eaten elsewhere. I don't know what those who leave positive reviews are used to.

22/07/2025: A scam. There's a sign on the door offering a two-course meal + drink for €10, but it's a lie. Only the first course costs €10; they charge extra for the rest.

24/08/2025: This restaurant is located near the Duomo, very well-maintained and welcoming. We stopped for lunch and tried traditional dishes: the Milanese cutlet and risotto were truly delicious. The desserts were also noteworthy. The staff was extremely courteous and friendly. The prices were reasonable for what they offered.

19/08/2025: Nothing on the plate, I don't recommend the 6 mini ravioli accompanied by the 4 miserable bacon bits in a bag for €18, nor the tap water served in a bottle whose yellow bottom doesn't inspire confidence for €3.50 2 plates for a total of €52, we left there with empty stomachs!

02/08/2025: Ottimo ristorante per passare una serata rilassante ed elegante. I piatti sono ottimi o così come il servizio! Il personale è gentilissimo. Da consigliare è da ritornarci assolutamente

07/07/2025: 120 euro (60 cad) per complessivi: - 2 tartare (scampi e capesante) affogate in olio e limone non in grado di coprire una pessima nota amara - 1 porzione di branzino pieno di lische - 1 spaghetti vongole, completamente scotto arrivato in tavola non in contemporanea con il branzino ma 15 minuti dopo a branzino freddo - 1 focaccia, richiesta 3 volte, e servita a cena finita un quarto d’ora dopo lo spaghetto - un bicchiere di vino, versato senza farlo assaggiare all’apertura - servizio pessimo - seduta sporca. Dalle recensioni che ho letto successivamente mi sembra che originariamente fossero anche pizzeria. Forse avrebbero fatto meglio a rimanere come tali

11/08/2025: Pizza buona una non basta perché troppo sottile ma assolutamente ingiustificato il prezzo, locale anni 70 tenuto senza nessuna cura molto rumoroso e con un sacco di mosche che girano, tavoli troppo attaccati l’uno all'altro, servizio gradevole, non credo ci ritorneremo più!

09/08/2025: Ci ho pensato a lungo prima di scrivere questa recensione, perché Le Specialità per anni è stato uno di quei posti “di fiducia”: pizza superlativa, servizio attento, prezzi alti ma giustificati dalla qualità. E poi… puff, come in certe storie d’amore che finiscono male senza nemmeno una litigata. Siamo tornati due volte, e per due volte si è ripetuto lo stesso copione: arrivi, ti siedi, e poi vieni lasciato a contemplare il vuoto cosmico. Dopo un po’, qualcuno si ricorda che esisti e ti porta il menù. Niente pane (solo quattro olive — buone, per carità, ma non proprio un antipasto e comunque le si paga!), e bisogna sollecitare. Poi il momento clou: arriva il filetto al pepe… ma la mia pizza? Scomparsa. “Mangia il filetto che si raffredda”, dico. Lui finisce. La pizza ancora non si vede. Quando finalmente compare, lo fa con l’entusiasmo di un lunedì mattina, senza scuse, senza spiegazioni. La pizza è ancora buona, sì. Ma senza il contorno di attenzione e cura, resta solo una pizza buona… e Milano, di pizzerie buone, ne ha tante. Conclusione: Le Specialità non è più quello di una volta. Chi vuole solo mangiare ‘bene’ può ancora tentare, ma se cercate anche un briciolo di calore umano, un luogo del cuore dove mangiare bene e stare in un ambiente accogliente e professionale forse conviene guardare altrove.
