It's a very average place. It's the kind of place you might stop by if you get really hungry while shopping in Brera, to rest and grab a bite to eat. The food wasn't bad, but I don't think I'll plan to go again. The service is slow. The price-performance ratio is poor. Its most notable feature is the seating area; otherwise, it's very standard.

Visiting Il Salumaio is much more than just a meal; it's immersing yourself in Milanese history. The interior courtyard is undoubtedly one of the most beautiful spots in the city. The service was impeccable and very attentive. We tried the Cotoletta alla Milanese, and it was cooked to perfection. It's the ideal place if you're looking for an elegant and exclusive atmosphere while shopping in the fashion district. Highly recommended.

Salumaio offers both indoor and outdoor dining options. While May is typically a popular time for outdoor seating, I found the indoor dining experience to be more enjoyable. The building itself is stunning, and the food is great. Their burrata, veal cutlet, branzino, and any pasta on primi piatti are must-tries. I highly recommend pairing your meal with a good bottle of Chianti. Additionally, I want to give a special shoutout to Fausto, who is undoubtedly one of the best server you’ll ever encounter.

Overall the food is abit hit and miss but for the burrata I would fly back from manchester in a heartbeat.

A unique location, housed in a neo-Renaissance-style building. The entire restaurant reflects this style, creating a truly evocative atmosphere. The dishes are delicious, and I think the tiramisu is one of the best I've ever tasted—a must-try. The service, while elegantly dressed, at times seemed rushed and overly informal, not in keeping with the refined setting. The bartender is friendly, if a little too reserved, but he managed to accommodate me well. Despite everything, they managed to accommodate my requests.
