Le Specialità In Milano

We went to Le Specialità to find a gluten-free thin-crust pizza. The pizza was very thin and delicious, but you can't pay €6 per person for a cover charge and €12 per person for a beer 😭 a coffee was €4 and a small water was €5. So, a pizza with a beer each and a coffee was €97, without dessert. Are you kidding? (One pizza was €21 and the other €25). Delicious. But I feel like I'm being taken for a ride. Our salaries haven't changed... REPLY POST THE PLACE'S RESPONSE: Obviously, I didn't complain about the price of the pizzas. Since they were well-reviewed and thin, just what I was looking for, I was perfectly willing to pay more than average, as I'd been warned in various groups and reviews. So, needless to say, the pizzas are more expensive because special care and attention are needed because gluten-free products require it, as in every place I've been, they have an oven. Dedicated staff and attention, the pizzas did indeed have a surcharge of up to €3 on the price of the gluten-free pizza, BUT that doesn't translate to €12 for a beer, or the €6 per person cover charge, or €5 for a small bottle of water, or €4 for a coffee... which I believe are all _naturally_ gluten-free. We had to ask for the bill twice for it to be brought to us, and we also witnessed other scenes among the young people that could even less justify such prices (because yes, they are all very young, or perhaps that evening there were only very young people on duty, who knows). Oh, and one more small detail: the prices of the beers weren't listed on the menus.

Excellent quality for a well-above-average price. Overall, though, it's okay. It's unfortunate to say, but the selective intent is clear.

Very thin, crispy pizza. They also have a few tables outside in the sun.

very friendly and polite waiters. very nice restaurant - nothing fancy but simply great. trying the food is like visiting heaven. i really recommend having a meal at this place. you must try the gstaad guy pizza.

Do not expect any kind of service, it's always very packed with many people waiting, even if they got a reservation. It is like that so I can suggest to go for lunch as the pizzas and the food are very nice! :)

The pizza is good but the dessert quality is average...

SMART PLACE I tried the restaurant on the initiative of a friend from Milan, who, as a Milanese, raves about it; I'm not surprised: A classic place that manages to ride the current trends and make even the dullest things, like a simple pizza, look like gold. In fact, it's nothing more than a tavern where, admittedly, you can eat decently, but at prices that completely clash with the setting. 4 pizzas; 4 beers; 2 waters and a panna cotta for the modest sum of €188. To each their own.

Overall we had a good experience and the food was excellent! Absolutely recommend getting the Bruschetta with Buratta, a Pizza and a Tiramisu to finish off. Absolutely amazing! The atmosphere in the restaurant was a vibe. I loved the mixture of classy chic but also chill. We thought it matched all event types. However, unfortunately the service was a little disappointing. The food came at completely different times, one main course went missing and arrived 15 min later, the starters came after the mains. However I would still definitely recommend the restaurant and would for sure come back as all other criteria’s were absolutely met. ⭐ definitely make sure to make a reservation in Advance!
