23/02/2025: Sì dovrebbe cominciare con una esclamazione pittoresca. Tempi biblici, servizio all’acqua di rose, 3-4 camerieri disorientati nel tempo e nello spazio. Cucina mediocre. Insomma, circa 1 ora e mezza per avere pollo e salamelle mal cotte. Insomma, tempi d’attesa infiniti senza che ne valga la pena.

19/02/2025: La Stella es una bonita ubicación en Desenzano y uno de los pocos restaurantes abiertos durante el invierno. Entramos sin reserva el 8 de febrero a las 7. 30 pm. El local estaba totalmente vacío y los camareros ya estaban de turno. Nos negaron una mesa para dos a pesar de la hora temprana y sin invitados. Ahora, obviamente no tuvimos ninguna experiencia y no la tendremos en el futuro por eso escribo. Perdieron dos clientes por Dios debido a su incapacidad para manejar los bloques de tiempo de reservaciones. De hecho, podrían habernos servido y en cuestión de una hora hubiéramos terminado nuestra comida: resultado, sus ganancias del día aumentaron. El espacio para entrar debe preverse todos los días y la lección Covid de restaurantes vacíos y gerentes llorando nunca olvidarse.

04/04/2025: Unfortunately I don't recommend it, it wasn't inedible but for what we paid it really wasn't worth it, I ordered a risotto with porcini mushrooms, I received rice immersed in slop, it probably hadn't been stirred enough. I give 1 star to the environment because as soon as we entered going up the stairs we immediately noticed a strong antique/dusty smell which annoyed us so much throughout the dinner, in addition to the fact that we were at a table where my chair was attached to the wall behind and I was stuck between the chair and the table. For such a good location IN MY OPINION the synthetic grass flooring on the terrace should be avoided. In conclusion, not good, not inedible but quality/price, compared to other restaurants in the area, unfortunately we are not there. We found many in that area and unfortunately this was the least good and beautiful but the most expensive

03/02/2025: Having read the reviews, google maps shows it as open, I go to their site and book a table for 9pm, everything seems confirmed, I get there and the place is closed :DDDDDD, no sorry but no email ever arrived, I recommend updating the site ownership and opening hours on google maps

Llegamos para un almuerzo rápido tarde y mantuvieron un restaurante abierto solo para nosotros y a pesar de que dijimos que comemos solo pizza, recibieron una sopa para nuestro pequeño, y fue genial! ¡PERO! ¡Eso nos llevó a volver al día siguiente para una cena que fue una experiencia para recordar! Hermosa trufa tagliatelle (probamos 3 lugares diferentes calificados mejor en Sirmione) este era uno para recordar! ! Y en cuanto al plato principal, el cerdo ibérico fue cocinado a la perfección, ¡simplemente increíble! Y para colmo todo era un gran vino Valapocilella Ripasso y, por supuesto, un pastel de queso pistacho desierto - ligero pero cremoso como un sabor de nube! Big KUDOS para la cocina para hacer platos tan grandes durante un par de días seguidos, pero también el personal de espera es un gran equipo, se puede ver que les importa que el plato se adapte a su gusto! ¡Fuimos dos veces y volvemos por más!

01/01/2025: Very bad experience, very poor quality food, linguine with lobster where you could only taste the tomato, tuna fillet with very little raw material, spaghetti with clams served with a whole knob of butter on the very dry plate, and finally as dessert a millefeuille served with a huge hair on the plate.

03/03/2025: Never seen such terrible service in a restaurant. There were two of us, we ordered a pizza and a steak. The pizza arrived after a couple of minutes, the steak after more than 20 (when the other person had already finished lunch). Although it was requested well done, the ribeye arrived rare. After being taken to the kitchen for further cooking it still arrived in a terrible state. You could clearly see it was defrosted meat. I remedied this by ordering another dish. I asked for a second glass of wine which obviously wasn't brought. When the time came to pay the bill they also tried to foist the cost of the meat on us even though it had been sent back. The other tables next to us also had problems. The waiters completely lost.

06/04/2025: Arriviamo in questo posto ( alle 12:10 ) proprio grazie ad una ricerca su TripAdvisor. Ordiniamo alle 12:20 ( quando siamo arrivati c’era solo un tavolo di 4 persone, effettivamente era presto ) 2 antipasti e una costata prussiana. Alle 12:45 arrivano gli antipasti che spazzoliamo in 10 minuti , a quel punto mi viene in mente che non mi è stato chiesto come desideravo la cottura della carne , chiamo il cameriere e lo informo che la carne la volevo al sangue , nessun problema mi viene risposto tranne che al momento in cui porta la carne a tavola ( una costata da 1,3kg ) alle 13:20 ben 25 minuti dopo la stessa risulta ben cotta e tra l’altro servita su un tegame bollente, faccio notare al cameriere che la costata non era al sangue , lui mi risponde “ NOI LA FACCIAMO COSÌ , DOVEVA DIRMELO PRIMA” quando gli faccio notare che erano passati 25 minuti mi ripete “ NOI LA FACCIAMO COSÌ , DOVEVA DIRMELO PRIMA”. Dico solo scortese e maleducato, ero a tavola con mia moglie è mia figlia e certo non mi aspettavo di essere trattato così.

21/12/2024: …… su consiglio di un amico ci dirigiamo verso questo locale….. Non saprei come fare per descrivere la splendida serata . Abbiamo preso il menù degustazione ed è stato veramente una cosa fantastica ….. Ottimo l’abbinamento dei vini ed anche la loro cantina. Chef Alberto è veramente uno stramaledetto genio ……. Bravissimo ad costare sapori, colori, eccetera…… Grazie mille per averci fatto trascorrere tre ore fantastiche ……

Senza leggere nessuna recensione decidiamo di cenare in questo locale.accogliente e piena di calore.accolti da Armando ottimo padrone di casa attento ai propri clienti ma tutto questo passa in secondo piano perché il cibo è ottimo prodotti freschissimi ottimo ragù di lago e gli altri primi pochi piatti ma lavorati con maestria consigliato a tutti ah! Anche perché il prezzo è ottimo più che giusto forse anche meno di quello che vale

24/02/2025: Che dire, abbiamo provato la pizza a mezzogiorno consapevole che non avessi fatto una buona scelta e in effetti ho confermato la mia supposizione, proprio una pizza turistica. Anche il dolce nonostante fosse stato decantato come un prodotto casalingo non meritava. Personale abbastanza gentile e prezzo nella media ma considerando la qualità il voto finale è scarso.

16/09/2024: Abbiamo telefonato tarda mattinata e nonostante fossero al completo hanno accettato la nostra prenotazione. Erano un po’ di anni che non andavo ma ho ritrovato quello che li caratterizzava ovvero professionalità, piatti e vini di qualità. Vista sul lago splendida.

22/03/2025: Es ist traurig zu sehen, wie ein einst geliebtes Restaurant seine Seele verliert. Früher war es ein Ort voller Wärme, Liebe und Leidenschaft für gutes Essen. Die Chefs waren immer da, begrüßten die Gäste persönlich, und jedes Gericht wurde mit Sorgfalt und Hingabe zubereitet. Besonders die Calzone – ein Meisterwerk, das die Herzen aller Gäste eroberte. Doch heute? Nichts ist mehr, wie es war. Die einst außergewöhnlichen Gerichte sind nur noch blasse Kopien ihrer selbst. Der Service, der früher so herzlich war, wirkt nun kalt und lieblos. Die Atmosphäre? Nur noch eine Fassade für Touristen, die kommen und gehen, ohne zu wissen, was dieses Restaurant einmal bedeutete. Was bleibt, sind Erinnerungen an eine bessere Zeit – an einen Ort, der einmal ein Zuhause für Genießer war. Jetzt ist es nur noch eine Enttäuschung.
