16/01/2026: I was extremely impressed with this place, a typical tavern where I ate casoncelli (excellent) and braised beef with polenta taragna (the polenta and meat were delicious). I highly recommend it if you're visiting the upper town.

12/01/2026: We found Mimi's based on an online recommendation and weren't disappointed. The wait for a table was short, as the place is small, but it was worth it. We had the cheeks, rabbit, and pumpkin ravioli. The service was quick and the dishes were delicious. The dishes were so large you'd want to lick the plate clean, leaving room for the tiramisu—which is great at this place, by the way. The side dishes are also very tasty. The tables are tiny, but this cramped space adds to the charm and atmosphere. The service is top-notch, and they take care of every customer. I highly recommend it! We'll be back.

04/01/2026: A truly remarkable restaurant. Located directly on the lake, it offers a stunning view. The menu isn't terribly extensive, which, in my opinion, is a sign of the attention paid to the food served. We enjoyed excellent appetizers (the fish appetizer was interesting, and the prawns over polenta were delicious) and equally good first courses (paccheri with perch and the classic casonsei pasta). I also think the small bottles offered are a smart choice (there's a good selection), for those who don't want to overdo it with wine. The only minor flaw is that the appetizers weren't served at the same time, but rather with a reasonable amount of time between them, but there were quite a few customers, which is entirely excusable. Prices are in line with the food served. Of course, we can't help but mention the setting: Lovere is truly a stunning place. It's worth walking along the lakeside and visiting the inland part of town. Very chic!!!

31/12/2025: We stopped in Lovere for lunch at this restaurant. The place is well-maintained and clean, and the staff is friendly and helpful. We ordered three pizzas, which were truly delicious, and the desserts were delicious! The view of the lake is the icing on the cake! Definitely recommended.

06/01/2026: The value for money, in my opinion, is excellent. The set menu, with a choice of various first and second courses for €20 on holidays, is hard to find these days, and the quality is excellent for the price. We tried the venison pappardelle, casoncelli, donkey stew, and rabbit, with the added dessert tiramisu (also excellent). We'll definitely be back!

14/08/2025: I've been a loyal customer for years. Excellent venue with both indoor and outdoor seating. Perfect for a quick beer, an aperitivo, or an evening with friends. The selection of draft and canned beers is varied and excellent. The owner, who has extensive experience, chooses the beers frequently, allowing you to always try new ones. Excellent cocktails and other drinks are also available. The aperitivo is accompanied by excellent platters of handmade canapés. You can also order food: I highly recommend the pinsa. The best thing, however, is the staff, always friendly and capable of creating a family atmosphere for customers. Highly recommended.
