22/05/2026: There at the end of April and it was closed for a refurb. Someone (owner?) said they were opening within the next two weeks. Their website is down so don't know if they're reopening under another name/ownership. Prior to this it was a favourite in Bergamo.
12/03/2026: I went there almost two years ago and I would like to go back since I'm returning to Bergamo in May but the phone tells me that the number doesn't exist. Does anyone know if it's open or has changed its number?

30/05/2026: Highly recommended! My wife and I had a truly wonderful meal and felt welcomed from the moment we arrived. The owner and his wife are fantastic: friendly, helpful, and always smiling. 03/06/2026: A very disappointing experience. The pizza was undercooked and cold. Although the waitress took it back immediately, she couldn't even manage a "sorry." She said the new pizza would be ready in 2 to 3 minutes. After waiting 10 minutes, my pizza was finished, and the new pizza still hadn't arrived. We left, and there was no apology whatsoever when paying the bill either.

04/04/2026: One evening, a wine tasting and tapas: the wine selection was excellent, and the pairings included three fish dishes, three local cured meats, and three local cheeses.
Another evening, for dinner, I chose the tasting menu, from appetizer to dessert, with unusual yet extraordinary pairings, such as sea bass and artichokes or a pear and ice cream tartine, beautifully presented! Not to mention the attentive, professional service, which always makes you feel at ease, with plenty of wine pairing suggestions! The atmosphere was refined and relaxing! You couldn't ask for anything better!

17/05/2026: A very pleasant stop. We had lunch here while cycling around the lake. Even though we hadn't booked, they found us a table and served us with friendliness and a short wait. Excellent food and average prices. We'll be happy to return!

26/05/2026: A restaurant with good potential but plenty of room for improvement. The entrance is anonymous and not immediately recognizable, but the service is more attentive. Good food and a great location, especially the outdoor area. Worth a stop.

04/05/2026: The drinks were completely off the charts. We ordered two Aperols (one was very sweet, the other sour) and a Hugo Spritz, which tasted like prosecco.
The food was very small, except for the carbonara, which was a normal portion.
The ravioli and gnocchi were good, but the carbonara was very salty.
For the price (€15 per portion, drinks €7), I wouldn't recommend it.

16/05/2026: We went on a Saturday, set menu/business lunch, good food: Treviso risotto and casoncelli and mixed grill for the second course, well cooked, with a sweet tart with a strudel-like filling.... There were 4 of us, good house wine, lovely lunch, nice place and excellent price/quality ratio... really recommended... obviously in a spiritual and religious place for every pilgrim which is the birthplace of Pope John XXIII: under the mountain.....

03/05/2026: We stopped by San Gervasio after a day at Leolandia and had a really great time 🍕✨
A very nice and welcoming place, with convenient parking right at the entrance 👍🚗. The staff were kind, friendly, and always available, and a special thanks to the waiters for their attentiveness and friendliness 😊
The food was truly excellent; everything was delicious and well-prepared. We also noticed the outside area, which looks really beautiful: last night it was a bit chilly, but with a few degrees warmer, it must be really pleasant to dine there 🌿🍽️
We're not from the area, but it will definitely become our go-to place every time we return to the area.

06/04/2026: I booked for Easter. Since there was no Easter menu, I thought I'd find the restaurant menu I'd looked at at home.
Instead, I found a folded sheet of paper listing other courses, but very few, and among them I couldn't choose one that would satisfy us.
The paccheri arrived, overcooked, drowned in squid ink, with four very thin calami (squid)—you couldn't even taste them—and with two, and I repeat, TWO... confit cherry tomatoes.
My son had tagliolini with zucchini and bacon...the bacon was ONE, a very thin slice for the entire plate.
The prices weren't low. But, if I'd eaten well, they would have been acceptable.
21/03/2026: Good and divided into two sections: lunch menu and a la carte.
We tried the a la carte option, but the service was a bit slow. The ingredients were very good, but honestly, the fried calamari wasn't up to par with the menu.
The rest was good.

14/05/2026: Really good food and very friendly staff. We went for a late dinner and the restaurant was almost empty. We had seafood pasta and pizza. We all liked our dishes! I will definitely come again if we visit Grassobbio again!
