12/03/2026: Very quiet restaurant with an elegant atmosphere. Incredible food, super tasty combinations of sweet and savory. Very knowledgeable and friendly staff, happy to offer recommendations. There are seating schedules, so you have to leave after a while, but there's still time to enjoy everything. Highly recommended. The only downside is that there isn't much parking available.

10/03/2026: I visited Bacco Matto in Bergamo and had a truly positive experience. The restaurant is well-kept, welcoming, and has a warm atmosphere, making it perfect for both a dinner with friends and a more relaxed evening. The atmosphere is pleasant, and you can immediately sense the attention to detail. The staff was very kind and professional, always available to explain the dishes and recommend both the food and the perfect wine. The service was attentive but never intrusive, and the timing between courses was just right. The quality of the food is truly high, especially the grilled meat, which is the restaurant's true strength. The cuts of meat are excellent, perfectly cooked, and very flavorful. The other dishes are also well-prepared, with fresh ingredients and carefully presented. The homemade desserts are also very good, completing the dinner nicely. The wine list is also interesting, with several options that pair well with the meat dishes. Prices are medium-high but absolutely in line with the quality of the ingredients and the overall experience. Overall, it's a restaurant I'd definitely recommend to anyone looking for good food in Bergamo, especially if you love quality meat. I'll gladly return.

Giuliana, whom I didn't know, but who I had the opportunity to meet for the first time the night I celebrated my birthday at her fantastic restaurant, is a true character: ECCENTRIC, FULL OF LIFE, JOYFUL, CHEERFUL, A COLLECTOR... Because this isn't just a trattoria, but a veritable "museum." Apparently she loves Frieda Calo, but not only that. You can find endless memorabilia salvaged from flea markets, antique shops, or who knows where. Seeing is believing!!! I wonder how she manages to keep everything so tidy and perfectly clean. It's an experience we should all have, a visit, or even more than one, to this place! Let's talk about the food (and the VERY FAIR price?!!!). The menu is set, but it's like à la carte, with the advantage that everything is included: water, service charge, wine, dessert, and coffee. You won't find dishes like this anywhere else at these prices! The selection is truly extensive, and the dishes are traditional, cooked to perfection and served without a wait. The atmosphere is cheerful. The birthday cake is a mille-feuille, and as she enters the room, Giuliana arrives with a cowbell ringing to announce the arrival of the dessert and congratulations. Truly, everything was perfect! I'm so happy to have been able to dine and celebrate in such a unique setting!

22/03/2026: As soon as you enter, you realize you're in a unique place. If it weren't for the beautifully set tables, you'd think you were in a convenience store. Giuliana welcomes you as if she's known you forever, and her eccentric attire fits perfectly with the atmosphere of the place. The large tables encourage guests to get to know each other. The staff is efficient and friendly. The food is quality, the price is fixed, and the menu is varied. The place is always busy, and to make a reservation, you need to plan ahead and arm yourself with patience. I'll definitely return to Giuliana, especially because Bergamo is worth a second visit.

03/03/2026: I don't usually leave reviews, but when someone does a good job, it deserves one. I had guests on Saturday night, and we ate divinely. The fish was fantastic, as was the pizza and the casoncelli. The price was fair, the staff were friendly, and the food was superb. I'd definitely recommend it again.

17/09/2025: I'd been to this restaurant before over 30 years ago... I wonder why I let so much time pass before this new visit... ugh. Anyway, we had a great time. I chose the seafood menu, but next time (hopefully before 30 years) I absolutely want to try the meat menu. The service, ambiance, and above all, the dishes were top-notch. This time, it was also a little surprise since we're celebrating an anniversary. Well done, recommended.

22/03/2026: I was rather unimpressed on arrival, as we were given a table adjacent to the toilet, despite having booked ahead & others being available. I guess the restaurant manager did not like how we looked! Despite this, the meal and service were excellent. I had snails, ravioli and octopus & my partner onion tart, pasta and rabbit. The food was all excellent, no high points or low points. The wine list was extensive and the restaurant was able to recommend a well matched wine for all courses. The amouse bouche were delicious and substantial, so we did not order dessert. I would highly recommend & hope to visit again, though I will probably sit outside next time!

15/02/2026: My husband and I stumbled upon it by chance. We were immediately captivated by the restaurant's style, which really appealed to us. We chose different dishes. Below are the photos. All were excellent, but I personally gave the speck risotto a 10+. Excellent tasting experience, friendly, attentive staff. Highly recommended.

18/03/2026: Everything was excellent. The staff was polite and fast, the shop was clean, modern and well lit, the food was very tasty and at reasonable prices. We really liked the spaghetti alla vongole as well as the pizza with mozzarella and eggplant! It is worth mentioning that because it was our daughter's birthday, the staff turned off the lights of the shop and put happy birthday on the shop's speakers, creating a festive atmosphere for the little one to cut her cake. Thank you very much!

16/03/2026: The hospitality wasn’t there as it has previously been. Portions were smaller than usual, and there was huge difference in customer service. I would skip the restaurant’s desserts.

13/03/2026: Discovered by chance on the way back from Sarnico to Bergamo, we stopped for dinner. We ordered a porcini mushroom pizza and a Parmidodoro scrocchiarella... Delicious pizzas, and the scrocchiarella was superb! Excellent, quality ingredients. Very friendly and professional service. For two, we spent €49 (for a Parmidodoro scrocchiarella, a porcini mushroom pizza, a bottle of water, a small draft beer, a coffee, and a liqueur). The bill was reasonable for the quality of the food and the professionalism of the service. The place is very nice, with well-spaced tables and a quiet atmosphere (we went for dinner on a Thursday). Highly recommended!
