19/08/2025: Excellent service but food was average. Portion sizes for the a la carte very small. I had the seabass and it was just one small fillet which seemed to have been reheated and just a couple of olives on top. It was okay but not worth 22€. The tasting menu looks very good value for money though.

While the portion sizes were on the smaller side, I actually appreciated this approach. It's refreshing to find a restaurant that prioritizes quality over quantity, allowing you to truly savour each bite without feeling overwhelmed. What really made the evening special was our waiter, Jorge, who provided absolutely superb service. He was incredibly observant and thoughtful, noticing that we were dining with a young man (21) who has learning difficulties and enjoys drawing. Without being asked, Jorge kindly brought over pencils and paper to keep him engaged and happy. This level of attentiveness and genuine care went above and beyond what you'd typically expect, showing real compassion and professionalism. The combination of excellent food and truly exceptional service made for a memorable dining experience. It's clear this restaurant trains their staff to be observant and caring, creating an environment where all guests feel welcome and valued. I would definitely return and recommend this place to others, especially families looking for a restaurant that goes the extra mile to accommodate everyone's needs. 27/04/2025: Siamo stati con la famiglia, locale in centro paese, in una via secondaria, 2 minuti dal lago. Molto bello, elegante, pulito. Personale molto gentile e cortese, servizio ottimo per modi e tempi. Abbiamo mangiato sia la pizza che alla carta che propone ottimi piatti dagli antipasti ai dolci (soprattutto pesce). Idem la cata dei vini (un pochino cara). Prezzi dei piatti e pizze assolutamente in linea per qualità ed anche la quantità è corretta. Anche per i celiaci la giusta attenzione (ovviamente dichiararlo prima dell'ordine). Da tornare e consigliare

11/08/2025: My family and I went for pizza, and it wasn't the best. We didn't try the desserts. The final bill left a bit of a bad taste in our mouths, mostly because of the €3 cover charge per person.

06/08/2025: I came back and had another great experience. The food was very well cooked. Excellent service. Splendid location. It's in the upper part of the city, very close to the parking lots. The photo is of the slice of Caprese cake I made for my birthday. We celiacs also eat very well.

11/09/2025: I'm sorry to have to give only three stars, but our visit to this restaurant wasn't satisfying. The service was inattentive and rushed. We would have liked to try some of the typical dishes, but since we had a strict timetable and were on a bus tour, they steered us towards pizzas, telling us the kitchen wouldn't have time to serve us. It's a shame that others in our group, who arrived after us, were satisfied. We ordered three beers... but they only brought four... The pizzas weren't bad, but we really felt like we were almost a nuisance. 🤷🤷🤷 ..

26/08/2025: I booked rooms for my daughter's wedding guests on June 21st, and everyone was thrilled with the hospitality, cleanliness, and beauty of the hotel, which is located in a very quiet location and easy to reach from the Romano di Lombardia highway exit. The breakfast was plentiful and varied. The receptionist was extremely kind and helpful, accommodating my every request. I highly recommend this luxurious property with its spacious, well-appointed rooms. I thank all the staff, especially the polite and gracious Moroccan receptionist. Thanks again.

05/08/2025: From the moment we walked in, we were welcomed with open arms—almost literally! The staff was incredibly kind and made us feel right at home. The food was absolutely delicious, and the drinks were just as impressive. It’s rare to find a place where both the service and the menu shine this brightly. Highly recommended!

21/08/2025: Tragic customer service. 21.09 20:50 Me and my collegues waited for a waiter, when he finally came he looked down on us from bottom to top, then he just waived on us, not indicating table for us. We knew the restaurant is closing in 45 mins, so we wanted to order as soon as possible, but waiter couldnt understand the phrase "Can we order now?" +"I want to order this". Then he just walked away for a cigarette, so we decided to leave. Climate was perfect, but we couldnt taste the food sadly.

24/04/2025: Disfrutamos de nuestra segunda visita en tantos años a Sant 'Ambroeus. El menú es muy local y muy bueno. Los cursos de pasta y ternera fueron fantásticos Mientras está situado en la plaza principal, todavía puede tener una cena íntima mientras disfruta de la actividad que rodea la plaza. La carta de vinos es fantástica, con muchas opciones no disponibles en los Estados Unidos, que es refrescante. Fue un restaurante maravilloso para nuestra última noche en esta mágica ciudad vieja.

29/08/2025: AVOID! Our worst experience in Italy. The only bad one - in fact. Cold and old lasagne, thin sliced flavourless veal, service was rude beyond belief and lazy from the tall waitress. It was so bad that I decided it was better to eat the refrigerated lasagne. Reassuringly, she was rude to all patrons - sending many away - when tables were available. Her attitude led to a strange and unpleasant attmosphere in the restaurant.

19/08/2025: I went there with my family for lunch and I must say we were very satisfied: excellent value for money, very friendly staff and perfect for those looking for a place to try local food.

29/05/2025: Prenotammo con un gruppo di amici per una cena in compagnia. Purtroppo la cena non andò bene, le grigliate di carne non erano buone e l’anello era sgradevole (immangiabile). Ho suggerito chiarimenti in merito al piatto e, mi è stato ritirato senza riportare una portata degna di nota (è accaduto ad altri commensali della stessa tavola). Pessima esperienza

23/03/2025: Unfortunately I haven't had lunch or dinner with them yet... we often go to get take-away pizzas... the pizza is really good and recommended... the place is nice, clean and well-kept and the staff are friendly. Takeaway pizzas made in a short time... for the rest I hope to go there soon to try everything else in person

05/08/2025: It remains one of the best views in Bergamo, but since the California Bakery chain took over, the food has unfortunately been practically frozen, the service slow and indifferent, and it's also expensive. It's fine for a coffee.

15/07/2025: A bar that, given its location and ambiance, has potential for 100, but hasn't been exploited to the fullest. Mediocre service, with few smiles from the staff, as if the customers were bothering you. Planters with dead plants and vases full of cigarette butts. Clean bathroom, but the paper dispenser is broken and messy. Prices aren't exactly cheap, even for just an aperitif, and the selection isn't great. Bottom line: a place with a magnificent view, but one that, compared to the wide selection available in the upper town, doesn't really stand out!
