05/01/2026: A very welcoming and refined establishment, especially evident in the attention to detail. Parking is available and the rooms are spacious and extremely clean. Equally important was the owner's courtesy and attentiveness, making us feel right at home. I highly recommend it and promise to return soon.
28/12/2025: Convenient for business trips, the hotel is well-maintained, as is the restaurant. The food is good, and you can choose between the à la carte menu or the hotel menu, which is significantly cheaper. Reception opens after 8:00, which is a bit of a hassle for those with work commitments.

02/01/2026: From the outside, it's hard to tell what the restaurant is all about. We were helped promptly at the downstairs counter and directed to the upstairs restaurant. The service there was good, and the staff were very helpful. Unfortunately, we really expected the pizzas to come from a real wood-fired oven. Unfortunately, this wasn't the case. As a result, the pizzas weren't very tasty. Fortunately, we were able to park easily nearby, and the area was beautifully lit.
01/01/2026: We arrived at 7:15 pm on December 31st. We expected a lot of people and to be turned away, but no! Maybe because we arrived early and there were 2-3 other tables before us, but only a 5-minute wait for the pizza and a few more minutes for the casoncelli! We ate very well and could return without a doubt! The waiters were very kind and helpful!

21/10/2025: We tried some traditional dishes, which we found to be good. The atmosphere was quiet, and the prices were moderate and appropriate for the amount consumed.
17/10/2025: Very average. Empty place with too loud jazz music. Lots of plastic. It wants to give the impression of an upscale restaurant, but it's only average. Good pasta. Secondi not well prepared. Dried fish and tagliata are better in any trattoria. Zucchini burnt on the plate. Service nice, but sometimes disappeared for half an hour. Room for improvement.

05/01/2026: Let's pretend the place is clean, let's pretend there are no cobwebs, okay, what about the rest? The service was embarrassing to say the least: the young woman working the tables was very thorough and kind, the owner was embarrassing to say the least.
I quote the conversation verbatim:
"Would it be possible to remove the eggplant?"
"No."
"But I'm allergic..."
"Then get something else..."
"But I don't like the rest, can't you just remove the eggplant?"
"No..." then you're not eating..."
Now, I understand everything, but there were a thousand other ways to respond; then, once I pointed out (and I should point out that my friend hadn't eaten...) at the cashier, the response was a chuckle.
I'd say offensive and poor.
04/01/2026: A shame, the owner is embarrassing to say the least. Rude and at times unnecessarily "a phenomenon." I won't be returning.

18/01/2026: The food was horrendous; the meatballs were clearly frozen and industrially made. When I asked if they were fresh, he replied that they had been prepared that morning. We spent a fortune for the quality and quantity served. NOT RECOMMENDED!
18/01/2026: I went to Dispensa di Arlecchino for an aperitivo on Saturday evening and was truly satisfied! 🍹
They offer two options: one with a drink and appetizers for €10, and another with an additional €5 that also includes delicious casoncelli. Everything was delicious, well-prepared, and with attention to detail. The staff is friendly and welcoming, and the atmosphere is truly pleasant. Highly recommended for a quality aperitivo without surprises!

Purtroppo la cena non andò bene, le grigliate di carne non erano buone e l’anello era sgradevole (immangiabile).
Ho suggerito chiarimenti in merito al piatto e, mi è stato ritirato senza riportare una portata degna di nota (è accaduto ad altri commensali della stessa tavola).
Pessima esperienza
23/03/2025: Unfortunately, I haven't had lunch or dinner there yet...we often go for takeout pizzas...the pizza is really good and highly recommended...the place is beautiful, clean, and well-kept, and the staff is friendly.
Takeout pizzas are made quickly...as for the rest, I hope to go there soon to try everything else in person.

05/08/2025: It remains one of the best views in Bergamo, but since the California Bakery chain took over, the food has unfortunately been practically frozen, the service slow and indifferent, and it's also expensive. It's fine for a coffee.
15/07/2025: A bar that, given its location and ambiance, has potential for 100, but hasn't been exploited to the fullest.
Mediocre service, with few smiles from the staff, as if the customers were bothering you. Planters with dead plants and vases full of cigarette butts.
Clean bathroom, but the paper dispenser is broken and messy.
Prices aren't exactly cheap, even for just an aperitif, and the selection isn't great.
Bottom line: a place with a magnificent view, but one that, compared to the wide selection available in the upper town, doesn't really stand out!
