15/08/2026: A truly pleasant discovery, almost by chance. After arriving from a trip, quite tired and with little desire to look for something special, I stopped at Al Barracuda in Grassobbio. I must say it was a very pleasant surprise. The first thing I appreciated was the welcome: the owner was truly kind, helpful, and very friendly, with that simplicity that makes you feel immediately at ease. The atmosphere is very familiar and informal, just the kind of place where you can sit down, relax, and enjoy the evening without too much formality. I tried the pizza and found it good, simple, and unpretentious—exactly what I was looking for at the time. The prices are also fair, and this is definitely an aspect not to be underestimated today. The curious thing is that, looking at the other tables, I noticed several fish dishes that looked truly inviting. I didn't try them this time, but it's certainly one more reason to return and give the cuisine a second chance, perhaps to try something other than pizza. In the end, after a day of travel and a lot of tiredness, what struck me was leaving the restaurant with a very simple thought: "If I ever have the chance, I'll gladly return." It's not the classic place you go expecting some kind of gourmet experience: it's a family-friendly, sincere place, with fair prices, good food, and above all, a lot of kindness. And sometimes that's exactly what you're looking for. A lovely discovery in Grassobbio, one I'd highly recommend.
