13/04/2026: Alexandra has become a regular stop. Perfect for a quick lunch, a cocktail overlooking the sea, or moments with family and friends. Always excellent food, extremely friendly staff, and impeccable service. The terrace overlooking the sea is simply spectacular... and the gelato is truly amazing! A place that always makes you feel good, no matter the occasion.

24/02/2026: It's a lovely restaurant, on a quiet little square away from the tourist crowds. There's very little foot traffic. A great find; we go back every time we're in San Remo. The food is good (especially the trofie al pesto!) and the waiter is very friendly. 🤍

14/01/2026: Great hospitality The hotel is located just outside the city center, has ample parking, and a highly rated restaurant. Our stay was delightful, with simple but comfortable rooms equipped with every comfort. The price was very reasonable.

02/05/2026: We had a good pizza, perhaps a bit too thin, but it depends on your taste. The place was very nice, and the staff were knowledgeable. We didn't like the fact that they told us they didn't take reservations, but at the next table they asked what name we'd called with, and that the waiters kept coming by to see if we were finished. I understand they had people waiting outside, but I don't like eating with people breathing down our necks.

25/03/2026: Nice, however, I ordered a four-cheese pizza and after 10 minutes it had completely cooled down, the cheese had solidified and become rubbery. Very unpleasant to chew, which might be due to a quality issue with the cheese. In other words, the crust is excellent and it's certainly the best I've ever had. Pizzas are available in 33 cm and 40 cm sizes. Really affordable price.

29/03/2026: We trusted the reviews, and indeed the pizza was very good. The service, however, was slow, and the owner was very agitated. The atmosphere is a bit dated, and... I'd recommend some background music so you don't have to hear the pizza chef's snorting.

And we weren't disappointed! 🤩 First of all, the service was impeccable: incredibly kind and professional throughout the entire meal. The beautiful setting and cozy atmosphere were perfect for us. The food also lived up to the enchanting surroundings: everything was fresh and homemade. Thank you to the whole team for this wonderful experience! 🙌

26/01/2026: We entered, drawn by the 4.4 Google rating, but our first impression was immediately negative: the room was deserted and the atmosphere dull, which should have been concerning. The decor is decidedly dated and ugly, with those red and black rose-patterned tiles that make the space heavy and unwelcoming. As for the food, we were completely disappointed. The prices for the appetizers are very high, which is unjustifiable given the quality. We ate frozen fish and flavorless first courses. The menu is too extensive: there are too many dishes on the menu, and the quality suffers significantly. It's much better to offer a few well-made dishes than thirty poorly executed ones. Paying €40 per person for this experience is a real shame. It seems the chef has lost his passion for good food. A restyling of the restaurant and a thorough overhaul of the menu are absolutely necessary. Not recommended. ————- His response is as childish as it is revealing. You confuse hunger with enjoyment: we finished the (mediocre) ravioli simply because we were hungry, but the tagliolini were left there precisely because they were inedible. Instead of lashing out at the customers' style or making absurd comparisons to France, you should ask yourself why a "historic" establishment serves frozen fish and tasteless dishes. Attacking guests' clothing is the last resort of those who no longer know how to cook. Best regards to you and your rudeness.

29/03/2026: Having stumbled upon the hills above Bordighera, we stopped for lunch at this little restaurant and we highly recommend you do the same! Everything was delicious from the appetizer to the dessert, the wines by the glass paired perfectly with our dishes, the service was impeccable, and the bill was more than reasonable. Be sure to book ahead as there are only a few tables.

21/03/2026: We had dinner as a couple at this delightful restaurant in upper Bordighera. The place is a gem, very intimate and elegant, with soft jazz music playing in the background. The service is attentive and courteous. The food, what can I say? You can taste the passion of the chef. Everything was very good and refined in its simplicity. Excellent experience.

The fish is very fresh and varied, and the wine list features a wide selection of local wines. Enjoying a sunny terrace in the old town made for a wonderful time—a bit pricey for Italy, though :)
