05/07/2026: Delicious pizza, pasta with shrimp and calamari, too. Brilliant cappuccino. Incredibly friendly service and very fast order fulfillment. An atmospheric restaurant on a charming street with views of beautiful orange trees and a gentle breeze from the coast. We returned here several times during our stay.

18/05/2026: We live in the area and wanted to try out a new place since we had friends visiting. Originally we wanted to get dinner, but were told the kitchen doesn’t open until 7 pm, so I told the waiter we will just have drinks and aperitivi like all the other guests had there and then we will see. We did not ask to be seated in a particular location. The waiter seated us in an semi enclosed area outside. About 20 minutes later he brought us the menus and we didn’t see anything on the menu we wanted. We had two vegans in the group and there was nothing they could eat. It was no big deal, it is a seafood restaurant so we were not insisting they make us something vegan. We did get two micro size appetizers (the size of a coin) we could eat. All other tables received potato chips (no they are not on the menu, they were just regular chips out of a bag), we did not.. again no big deal. When we said we didn’t want to order dinner and just want to pay for our five drinks, we were charged a coperto. €2 per person. I think it’s outrageous to only charge this to the foreigners who were there that evening, when we didn’t even have dinner there. I will never go back to this place again, not even for drinks and I will make sure that I let all my expat friends know that foreigners are treated differently by the owner. The waiter was friendly and told us this charge was not up to him. We go out for drinks a lot and we always like to try out new places, but the owner did not make any friends there tonight with us. It was not our fault their menu was so selective and nobody found anything they wanted to eat there. There was not even a table cloth on the table outside, so I have no idea why we were charged corpetto. I will recommend to my friends to go to My Dream. A cute little Pizzaria just a few steps further with amazing customer service and NO CHARGE for sitting at a table with a table cloth and fantastic sea view!

15/03/2026: The perfect place to eat raw fish and enjoy an aperitivo just steps from the sea. A good selection of oysters and wines. The raw fish wins over the cooked ones, but overall it's a captivating place. Recommended.

24/02/2026: It's a lovely restaurant, on a quiet little square away from the tourist crowds. There's very little foot traffic. A great find; we go back every time we're in San Remo. The food is good (especially the trofie al pesto!) and the waiter is very friendly. 🤍

07/03/2026: Passing through Sanremo for the weekend, this restaurant came highly recommended. And we weren't disappointed! 🤩 First of all, the service was impeccable: incredibly kind and professional throughout the entire meal. The beautiful setting and cozy atmosphere were perfect for us. The food also lived up to the enchanting surroundings: everything was fresh and homemade. Thank you to the whole team for this wonderful experience! 🙌

26/01/2026: We entered, drawn by the 4.4 Google rating, but our first impression was immediately negative: the room was deserted and the atmosphere dull, which should have been concerning. The decor is decidedly dated and ugly, with those red and black rose-patterned tiles that make the space heavy and unwelcoming. As for the food, we were completely disappointed. The prices for the appetizers are very high, which is unjustifiable given the quality. We ate frozen fish and flavorless first courses. The menu is too extensive: there are too many dishes on the menu, and the quality suffers significantly. It's much better to offer a few well-made dishes than thirty poorly executed ones. Paying €40 per person for this experience is a real shame. It seems the chef has lost his passion for good food. A restyling of the restaurant and a thorough overhaul of the menu are absolutely necessary. Not recommended. ————- His response is as childish as it is revealing. You confuse hunger with enjoyment: we finished the (mediocre) ravioli simply because we were hungry, but the tagliolini were left there precisely because they were inedible. Instead of lashing out at the customers' style or making absurd comparisons to France, you should ask yourself why a "historic" establishment serves frozen fish and tasteless dishes. Attacking guests' clothing is the last resort of those who no longer know how to cook. Best regards to you and your rudeness.

A simple, relaxed evening, but one that was truly special thanks to the hospitality, the service, and above all, the food we were served. We ordered two truly extraordinary Cappon Magro. As a Ligurian by birth, I can honestly say that at El Billi, you can enjoy one of the best Cappon Magro on the Western Riviera. I have known Billie for more than ten years, and one thing has never changed: his smile, his passion, and his genuine hospitality. Every visit feels like coming home. Whether it's a perfectly baked pizza, Spaghetti Frutti di Mare, tender octopus, or a beautifully grilled seafood platter, the kitchen delivers outstanding quality every single time. What impresses me just as much is the atmosphere behind the scenes. Billie treats his team with respect, and you can feel it immediately. The staff are engaged, motivated, attentive, and proud of what they do. Great leadership always reaches the customer. El Billie has never disappointed me—except on the rare occasion when I arrived and found the door closed. One recommendation: reserve your table in the evening. 10/07/2026: I chose this restaurant on a whim, because it felt right, and they had pasta alle vongole on the menu, exactly what I was in the mood for. So delicious, truly incredible. I would order a second one in a heartbeat. Very good beer beforehand, and a fine white wine during the meal, which I let them choose. Perfect espresso afterwards. Happy happy happy.

On Sundays, the tasting menu is mandatory and well worth the trip. Don't eat bread, or you won't finish! Parking available in front. Great!

27/06/2026: A typical restaurant in the Imperia hinterland. Fresh and clean. Friendly and welcoming staff. Excellent food and excellent value. The pizza is thin and crispy, with a nice topping. There's no service charge or cover charge; you only pay for what you consume. Highly recommended!!!

The pasta is delicious and perfectly prepared, and the pizzas are also excellent, with quality dough and carefully selected ingredients. The dishes, portions, and presentation were all top-notch. The service was decent and efficient, though there was a bit of a wait. Overall, a very positive experience. A sure bet for great Italian food! 👍
