13/10/2025: We stopped at Geppy’s Bistrot for lunch while passing through Ventimiglia, and I’m really glad we did. It’s just a short walk from the train station, but once you're inside, it feels calm, modern, and quietly elegant — a bit of a hidden gem.
The lunch menu was small but thoughtful. I had a ravioli dish that was fresh and beautifully balanced — not heavy, but still full of flavour. Portions weren’t huge, but just right for a midday meal, especially if you’re continuing your day afterwards. Everything felt well-prepared and seasonal, and the plating had that nice attention to detail without being overdone.
Service was friendly but discreet, and we appreciated how relaxed the atmosphere was — not rushed, not loud, just a comfortable pace. It’s the kind of place where you can actually enjoy your food and maybe linger a bit with a coffee or glass of wine.
If you’re in Ventimiglia and want something better than a quick bite but not overly formal, I’d absolutely recommend it for lunch. It’s a quiet, quality break from the bustle of travel.

Oggi abbiamo provato due piatti fuori menú da perdere la testa: trippa e tagliatelle al ragú di anatra.
Menzione d’onore al dolce che era davvero strepitoso, un creme caramel fuori da comune, elaborato e buonissimo.
21/04/2025: Belle decouverte en ce lundi de Pàques..Visite prevu de ce joli village italien et decouverte de ce petit restaurant qui proposait un menu de Pâques et sans avoir réservé nous avons pu y dejeuner et nous regaler de ces bons produit .Ce pain maison delicieux..Tres bonne adresse

16/11/2025: A restaurant-pizzeria in the center of Sanremo, near the Ariston Theater and the Casino.
The sea is also nearby.
The restaurant extends into a single room.
It's a Saturday evening, there are many customers but it's not full, making it awkward to walk through.
The staff is very kind, professional, and friendly.
We went there for a birthday; some chose meat dishes and pizza and were satisfied, while others, like me, chose the seafood instead. In this case, the unanimous opinion was not entirely positive.
At our table, we ordered a seafood appetizer and a mixed fried fish dish. What can I say? The quality of the ingredients wasn't excellent, and the fish was probably not fresh or, at least, not prepared properly.

04/10/2025: We'd been wanting to try this restaurant for a long time, but unfortunately it didn't live up to our expectations!
We had the tagliatelle with scallops, which was very disappointing. The scallops were frozen, the lemon sauce was nonexistent, and the portions were minimal!
The same goes for the glasses of wine, which were minimal.
Luckily, the frito misto was good!
But honestly, €93 without dessert isn't worth it!
02/10/2025: We stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, but chose it because it had a cozy look and well-set tables with white tablecloths and cotton napkins. The menu was varied. Between four of us, we ordered pasta with shellfish, pasta with lobster, meat in pepper sauce, and desserts. Everything was delicious. But the best part was the fish soup—it's the best fish soup I've ever had! The service was fast and pleasant. Thank you!

02/11/2025: So, so lovely and friendly! A true Ligurian gem with the most amazing multi-course menu — every dish was pure magic. ❤️ You can taste the love in every bite. We left full, happy, and already planning our return.
25/10/2025: I was really extremely disappointed by this restaurant in Vallebona. The 12 euro antipasti were of frankly mediocre quality, with products that seemed barely defrosted and served cold. The chef's pasta was a real scandal: undercooked, without sauce, and absolutely unworthy of what you expect in Italy. The waitress was indifferent, without being really unpleasant. Apart from the decor which had a little retro charm, everything else was a fiasco. Paying 75 euros for two for that, without dessert, with just two glasses of wine, is frankly a robbery. I have never eaten so badly in Italy. Avoid!

13/12/2025: Excellent lunch. Crispy fresh rosétti, braised calamari with mushrooms and panissa. Delicious dessert of coffee mousse with cream and focaccia croutons. Wine list with plenty of options by the glass and plenty of half bottles. Lovely terrace.
11/10/2025: The trio of appetizers and risotto were excellent.
The only flaw: the glass of Prosecco was too small.
