08/08/2025: Great experience because of the nice staff, good prices and great pizza. The place is a little small but It just fits right with its vibe. In the Netherlands they should take an example of these great pizzas baked in a wood fired oven.

02/08/2025: A small pizzeria with delicious pizza. The place is small and not particularly inviting, but lots of locals eat there or get their pizza from there. We had the Caprese and Quaddro Formaggi. With the Formaggi, they specifically asked if it had or had no pompdore sauce—the first pizzeria that asks for this. We had it without, and it was really delicious—the pure taste of cheese. The Caprese was also very good—simple but with very good ingredients. And the value for money? It's really good, €20 with drinks.

31/08/2025: An excellent restaurant with very friendly staff and a great selection of wines. The carbonara was perfect, and the fish main course was just as impressive. I can’t recall the name of the strawberry dessert with gelato, but it was outstanding. We enjoyed a warm conversation with the staff and were even treated to a complimentary grappa.

30/05/2025: Excellent food at a very affordable price! It's one of the few restaurants open between 4 and 7 p.m. Perfect for those going to the train station.

15/05/2025: The pasta is delicious!! I highly recommend it! We come to this cute restaurant for lunch every time we visit. The escalopes are also very tasty!

25/07/2025: Unfortunately, a huge disappointment – we left hungry. Despite the many good reviews on Google, our visit to this restaurant was a huge disappointment. The elderly waitress who served us was extremely unfriendly and barely communicated with us. She brought the bottle of wine, but without wine glasses – for which we then had to wait over half an hour. My wife's pasta only arrived after a longer wait, but she waited until my dish was served – which took another 20 minutes. By then, of course, her food was already cold. My dish – lamb ribs – was unfortunately completely inedible: extremely tough, full of hard pieces of fat, and impossible to chew. After this evening, we left disappointed and still hungry. Given the many positive reviews, we wonder if they are truly authentic – or if we were just unlucky. In any case, it was a disappointment for us – both in terms of service and food.

06/07/2025: It's impossible to miss this legendary restaurant. A truly quality, typical, and undeniably Italian establishment, it's one of the best places in the area.

30/04/2025: Il ristorante è composto da una sala interna di media grandezza, un pò buia e una parte esterna porticata. Il menù della casa costa 35 euro escluso le bevande con 4 antipasti tipici liguri, 1 primo 1 secondo e dolce. La scelta si limita fra due primi piatti edue secondi di carne . Pur di qualità la materia prima, i primi sapevano di poco ( soprattutto il ragù), discreto il coniglio. Servizio abbastanza buono e personale gentile. Dato il prezzo, mi aspettavo di poter scegliere tra più opzioni.

28/04/2025: I Gumbi è un ottimo ristorante dove poter mangiare se vi trovate a dover soggiornare o anche solo transitare per Dolceacqua. Il locale offre piatti tipici locali con prodotti freschissimi, su tutti spiccano i Tagliarin Verdi e il coniglio alla Ligure. La struttura è ricavata all'interno di un vecchio frantoio creando così un'atmosfera di altri tempi.

09/08/2025: Bistro... We ate there for lunch, a salad. It was very average. The salad leaves were black. We didn't try the other dishes. The restaurant is located right in the city center, the decor is nice but the place is noisy.

21/06/2025: I went to dinner at this restaurant last night for the first time, the place is really clean and the tables are well spaced, the waiters are kind and helpful, the dishes are definitely good and the ingredients are fresh and well prepared. Excellent value for money. I recommend it with full marks

22/08/2025: The food was very high quality, but very reasonable in terms of value. Friendly service and a great view of the Mediterranean. We really enjoyed it, especially considering the price for such good food. We highly recommend this restaurant.

07/09/2025: Nothing to complain about the food; it was all quite good. However, the staff was rude and even untrained (from the waitresses to the owner). During the bill, the owner insisted on asking if we had ordered other dishes, probably trying to inflate the total. The atmosphere was decidedly dated, cheap, ignorant, and unwelcoming. The fish prices were average, but the place definitely needs rethinking. The paper napkins were unsightly; for the same price, you could get better service.

31/08/2025: Good pizza, but the place needs updating! The place and decor are very dated and don't make you want to return. The large outdoor veranda is nice, even though the view is of the road and the tennis courts...

20/08/2025: We met for dinner for three people, I never write negative reviews, but this time I will. Pizza arrived 10-15 minutes before the other 2 courses. But the thing that bothered me was having taken fish of the day, not caught... I was offered sea bream or sea bass (probably farmed) and they brought me half a fish... accompanied by old grilled vegetables, they had to explain to me why there was vinegar... at the price of 25 euros! So a grilled sea bass would be 50 euros!!! For 30 you get a mixed grill where they always put half a sea bass!! A rip-off!! The only positive thing, the kind waitress. For the rest, no comment.

14/08/2025: It was okay, just the pizza dough needed to be worked better, it wasn't fluffy. Otherwise, the rest was okay. But, in my opinion, a pizza with cocktail sauce (mayo and ketchup) doesn't work. On a pizza, it really wasn't good.

06/08/2025: Despite the very friendly service, it's best not to go hungry. Good, nothing special, expensive for the quantity served and the preparation. No presentation! A bit of a shame!

31/07/2025: Food is just shoved onto your table. It wasn't tasty either, way too dry and lacking seasoning. The service wasn't friendly either. Anything but Italian, which is a shame, but it's a beautiful location.

20/06/2025: We took 2 ice creams to go but it was a bad idea. Ice cream without taste, it didn't melt completely in the mouth, it seemed like there was some dust which makes me think that they are absolutely not artisanal ice creams. Not recommended for ice cream. I don't know how the rest is.

07/09/2025: We ended our holiday in Diano Marina on a high note. The fish menu was excellent for dinner, with two options: the appetizer and main course. We chose mussels and a seafood salad. The first course was linguine with shrimp and zucchini, and the second course was mixed fried fish. Everything was excellent. Kudos to the service, too. The place is spacious, with both inside and outside seating, and even a terrace. The owner was very friendly. The waitress who served us was delightful. The prices were more than reasonable, for four people with water, wine, and coffee, €124! I highly recommend it!

30/08/2025: We had a fixed seafood menu. Mussels were average. Seafood salad was lukewarm and tasteless. Taglioni was good. Mixed fried fish was average. Swordfish had an unpleasant taste and smell. I don't recommend it. Waiters weren't very friendly.
