19/05/2025: A very good trattoria. It's 100 meters from Cantello San Angelo. "Carciofi alla Romana" (artichokes) is a delicacy. Also, Parma Preserves and Melon. Grilled Salmon is another delicacy. Very good service.

Ho pagato una cioccolata con panna al banco, in piedi, 5.50 euro , bevo una cioccolata con la panna prevista nel prezzo, che mi sembra già più che sufficiente, ma chiedo un po’ di panna in più . Ringrazio, faccio i complimenti per la cioccolata buona, sto per uscire, ma una cameriera mi urla di pagare il supplemento panna . Rimango basita, e dico che non mi era mai successo, ma lei mi chiede 2 euro di supplemento. Morale: una cioccolata con panna 7.50 euro in piedi. Le ho lasciato sul bancone 8 euro per pena. Sono stata nelle migliori pasticcerie del mondo, e nessuno ha mai chiesto supplementi. La classe e l’eleganza di un locale fanno la differenza. E voi non la fate !!! A mai più .

02/02/2025: Peccato per l’ improvvisazione nell’organizzazione. Una sola persona che prende ordini dentro e fuori. Nessun criterio nel servizio al tavolo. Caffè e cappuccino e dopo 15 minuti i cornetti. Tavolo accanto 20 minuti per servire monoporzioni già pronte al banco. Se entrate dentro l’inferno. Nessuno che vi spieghi come funziona. La cassiera che si alza per illustrare i prodotti in frigo. Sui prodotti non si discute ma per giustificare la posizione nei ranking delle pasticcerie e il costo il servizio deve essere all’altezza. Peccato un’occasione persa per dimostrare che i dettagli fanno la differenza

17/05/2025: Avoid! Service: The most unpleasant waiters possible. They come over three times in five minutes to ask you to order. Food: Disgusting, the pasta was way overcooked, and the osso bucco seemed like it was yesterday. A 10-year-old could have cooked better than that. Cleanliness: The restrooms... Let's not even talk about it! Disgusting, pee everywhere, and a more than unbearable smell. When you approach them to report the state of the restrooms, they don't care... But the cherry on the cake: the waiter who asks for a tip... once again, in the most unpleasant manner, as if it were a requirement. ONLY POSITIVE POINT: The view! Take your money and go somewhere else!

23/05/2025: We didn't expect much as we just wanted a place to sit with a decent meal, but the food tasted like dirty dish water. Of course I didn't finish the meal, but it was extremely expensive. Service was of course poorly, but we went in with low expectations. Please avoid. Again, we were just exhausted when we went, but wish we checked the reviews prior to sitting down.

20/03/2025: in questo ristorante se così si può chiamare ho mangiato in modo orribile con vista all interno della cucina nella quale gli utensili sono così unti che neanche gli insetti ci si appoggerebbero e il cuoco lavora il cibo senza guanti con le mani sporche i camerieri urlano e si schiamazzano all interno dell locale e trattano i commensali in modo inappropriato i bagni sono sporchi e pieni di polvere i piatti presi ( una amatriciana e una cotoletta erano rancidi e schifosi io personalmente non lo ritengo alla altezza delle recensioni date.

24/03/2025: Well this one was recommended by our guide and I will say that it did not disappoint. We had just over an hour and 10 people in our party. The waiter recommended dishes that cook quickly (pasta and pizza) and of course vino and spritzers are quick too. The food was amazing, the atmosphere was terrific and the prices were right in line with what I would expect. If you have a short time, or more time I would recommend this place to enjoy your meal. The lighting was a bit off on my phone.

10/06/2025: Disappointing experience. We sat for an hour without anyone bothering to bring us even a bottle of water, despite asking several times. The restaurant was not crowded, so it is difficult to justify such a wait. The staff seemed disorganized and not very attentive to the needs of the customers. In particular, a figure who seemed to have a coordinating role (perhaps the head waiter) was often around but without making a real contribution to the service. In the end we left without eating or drinking. It's a shame, because the location is really beautiful and deserves more professional management.

21/05/2025: Let's start off easy: a well-located place. If you're not a pasta expert, you won't notice anything unusual, except if it arrives cold. Now let's go point by point: - The food isn't made on-site; it comes from another restaurant a couple of blocks away, called Antigua Roma. - It's not a good-quality meal; it could have been worse, but for Rome, the pasta is very poorly cooked. - The prices are good for the location, but there are better places for pasta nearby.

24/05/2025: I feel ripped off. We sat down to eat something, and this was the result. The focaccia selection was very good, but to our surprise, a Coca-Cola cost €8, an orange Fanta cost €8, and table service cost €8.40. We ordered a latte to go, and they brought us an espresso for which they charged €4. It's a complete rip-off. I have to say the staff was very nice, but everything else was a complete rip-off.

31/05/2025: We had a nice break on our walk in Rome. Shared a bottle of rosé and a couple of sandwiches. Nice, attentive waiters and great atmosphere. Not the most affordable place, but also very centrally located.

11/05/2025: Ho vissuto i tempi d’oro del bar Vanni ( dagli anni 60) perché nato e vissuto a via Monte Zebio. Ricordo un bar di classe e di alto livello. Oggi è la caricatura di quello che era. La nuova generazione dei Vanni hanno tentato di cavalcare le nuove generazioni , ma sono stati disarcionati.

18/04/2025: Ma davvero c'è ancora gente che nel 2025 va a fare colazione o addirittura a pranzare in questo bar angusto??? lo ci sono capitato ieri, per caso portato da un amico. Abbiamo mangiato all'esterno sul marciapiede odinando delle pizze bianche farcite e un club sandwich. Benvenuti alla saga dell'orrore: l'ordine e le pietanze ci sono state servite da una signora dell'est con una scarsa professionalità da fare paura. Sembrava gli rodesse il sedere! Ma è stato solo l'inizio. Con l'aperitivo ci sono state portate patatine mosce e vecchie di chissà quando, olive secche e un paio addirittura con la muffa, pistacchi molli anche loro vecchi. Poi il club sandwich immangiabile con fesa di tacchino color viola (ovviamente lasciato nel piatto) e delle pizze farcite una addirittura con del salmone acido. L'altra ugualmente immangiabile. Praticamente l'unica cosa degna è stata la coca cola. Per finire il caffè disgustoso…..
