17/03/2026: DO NOT GO HERE - TOURIST TRAP If it wasn’t already obvious this is a tourist trap and I wish I had read reviews before going. They charge €5 for bottled tap water, the food was mediocre at best and not representative of proper Italian pizza. The service was also bad, staff are very dismissive and unprofessional. The prices themselves aren’t extortionate considering it’s central location however the food does not represent the price; I saw some other peoples food that looked like it had come straight out of the microwave. This place is only good for a quick drink.

15/03/2026: Service was amazing, the staff is very friendly and we even got complementary snacks with our aperols (the best ones we’ve had in Rome so far)

11/01/2026: Nemi 10/01/2026 The worst restaurant experience I've had so far! My partner and I, seeing the panoramic room with a lake view, decided to stay for lunch at 1:30 PM after reserving a table. Unfortunately, we began to see a couple of pseudo-waiters without uniforms, lacking a minimum of courtesy, bordering on arrogance, serving other tables that had arrived after us. When we complained, we were gestured from afar to stay relaxed because today was Sunday, so there were no rules. 🤔 After more than an hour, the first courses arrived... given the delay, we canceled our order for the second course, but the chef came from the kitchen, threateningly demanding that we accept the second course because it was already being cooked. At that point, we asked to take back the leftovers of the first courses because we were no longer hungry and also because my partner's carbonara was very salty. You won't believe it, but at this point, one of the pseudo-waiters takes the carbonara plate and, using my partner's fork, stuffs himself with a mouthful, drooling, and declares it's delicious! I would have reacted differently, but I paid the bill and we left, hoping to meet some traffic policeman to report the experience, but unfortunately, they were probably on their lunch break too. Anyway, it's a nightmare! These people should be wasting away somewhere else...not in restaurants!

08/04/2026: This restaurant is absolutely to be avoided. They added exorbitant prices to the bill and lied when you asked for an explanation. What a despicable mentality, especially for a family with three children… I should have read the reviews before walking into this tourist trap!

06/04/2026: STAY AWAY FROM HERE IF YOU DONT WANT TO GET SWINDLED!! If I could give -0- stars, I would. I’m American and went into this place with my group last night. Every other one star review is spot on what happened to us. They charged us $60 for 4 balls of mozzarella and that doesn’t even touch how much we paid for the bruschetta etc that they conned us into. I have to hand it to these guys, they have this con routine down to a science! Just trust me, do not go here. You will Save yourself a lot of money and aggravation.

08/04/2026: Here you are fatto pay a little bit of money and the truth is with you - it was a pazzo caro. To flee! They made us pay much more than the real note, which was already super expensive. Don't go there! They cheated us on the bill which was already very expensive. Don't go there!

02/04/2026: Very welcoming and pleasant host. Really nice lungo coffee and croissant, and my son said the kinder ice cream was the best he’s ever had. Great prices too.

08/03/2026: The pasta carbonara and lasagna are excellent. You can taste the authentic, homemade tomato sauce and good meat. The Aperol isn't large, but the prices are very attractive considering the location and portion sizes. Yes, the wait is a bit long, but if it's home-made, it's really worth it.

18/07/2025: Provato per il nome Bocciato di fatto. Macedonia insapore, cortesia solo con gli habitué, prezzi da ristorante per servizio tipo fast food... Cancellato !

11/05/2025: Ho vissuto i tempi d’oro del bar Vanni ( dagli anni 60) perché nato e vissuto a via Monte Zebio. Ricordo un bar di classe e di alto livello. Oggi è la caricatura di quello che era. La nuova generazione dei Vanni hanno tentato di cavalcare le nuove generazioni , ma sono stati disarcionati.

20/04/2026: HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED 1 star because I can't put zero, terrible service: they forgot about the orders that arrived halfway, prices on the menu different from those at the till, the sandwich was written 8 euros on the menu and at the till I paid 12. Never again, HIGHLY NOT RECOMMENDED

19/04/2026: I've been here for years and found it to be significantly worse. The prices are exorbitant for poor-quality products. It's unthinkable to pay €22-27 per person for an aperitivo (with cured meats, pizza, and cheeses). I'd rather go to a restaurant for dinner. The pizza we received was very hard and subpar, as if it had been reheated several times, which was very strange for a Sunday afternoon with so many people around. The drinks were also nothing special. There are thousands of better places in the area.
