We were immediately seated which was perfect, it's very hot weather today and the restaurant has AC which is excellent as we can enjoy our food in a cool atmosphere. We ordered pizza and it came quite quickly and was delicious. Would recommend this place

Restaurant in a very quiet area, away from the tourist crowds and noise, with fast and efficient service. All the food is delicious. Very reasonably priced; we stayed for five days and ate there four times for lunch and dinner. An elegant restaurant, it looks expensive but it isn't. Everything is very clean. 100% recommended. Friendly staff. The drinks are the only expensive part; the cheapest beer costs €5, but that's the price in most restaurants.

A very well-kept restaurant offering traditional Roman pizza and delicious desserts. I gave it 4 stars for the atmosphere because I think it's a bit dark. I highly recommend it.

Tutto buonissimo. The service is great, the food was very good, we had pizza and carbonara pasta, plus prosciutto and burata that were amazing. The Spritz are among the best we had in Roma, even though 10€ is expensive.

The pizza is excellent, as are the burgers. The atmosphere is welcoming and the service excellent. I must say that the staff I've met over the years have always been extremely kind. Everything creates a sense of serenity, I'd say, that makes every visit to Giando's a pleasure.

The food was very good. The service was excellent; we asked the waitress for recommendations and she gave them to us without hesitation. Prices were reasonable for the quality of the food, and the coffee was good.

Exactly what you need if you're looking for Roman comfort food. The cacio e pepe, gricia, and amatriciana are delicious. The tomato and basil pizzelle are a must-try. No problem for strollers or screaming babies; it's still cozy (the soft music helps).

17/06/2026: I only used the BBQ area, and the experience was nothing but positive. The table was covered and in the shade, the fire pit was in excellent condition, and they also provided equipment for cleaning the fire pit and handling the food being cooked, so if you only BBQ occasionally, you might not have everything you need. The price was fair, and the staff was very helpful.
14/06/2026: I was surprised by the tranquility of the location, despite its proximity to Rome and the many children present, as the restaurant is equipped with various children's games. I had lunch here with my family and grandchildren and we ate very well. I appreciated the simplicity of the dishes, the plentiful food, and the excellent quality. The service was good, and the owner was very friendly and welcoming. Highly recommended!

Taverna La Baita

27/04/2026: This is our 6th restaurant we visited. And so far we've enjoyed all the food we've ordered. If you want a non-touristy vibe with local food, local prices, local friendly ambiance. Come to this place. Its in a basement, but it does not feel like you are in one.
06/03/2026: Pizza was good but I would like it to have been a bit hotter in temp. Tiramisu was absolutely divine! The restaurant was quiet while we were there so it reduced the atmosphere but it was still a very pleasant place to enjoy a meal.
