02/07/2025: Il desiderio preso per la coda is a charming place in the center of Rome. You are always welcomed with kindness and professionalism. The dishes are cooked wonderfully and presented in an excellent way. You can perceive the freshness and quality of the food. Even the desserts are super! I highly recommend it to those who especially love places outside the usual tourist circuits

20/06/2025: Very unique and interesting restaurant. Had reservations at 8pm and was mostly empty until 9pm (typical). Service was excellent and accommodating. Good was fantastic. Had a mix of Italian cheeses with honey as an appetizer which was great. Cacio e pepe and gnocchi with truffle cream were amazing. Roman style artichoke was also amazing.

17/06/2025: Loved it. Organised by a local colleague for our small team as a thank you. Everyone loved both the menu and wine selection. Take a table inside with AC and try something different. We had lamb, chicken and several veg dishes. All fab, thank you guys.

01/06/2025: Read until the end! The food was great! Only the pasta was undercooked but the rest of the food was awesome. We were 4 people. Everything was good until the moment the waiter brought the bill almost double the price expected. We talked to the owner who deeply apologized and said it was a mistake. However, it was not. They see foreigners and they want to scam you! I would suggest this place only if you’re ready to fight for your money at the end. They haven’t shown any regret and haven’t even apologized properly. I would suggest avoiding this place. Deeply disappointed!

09/05/2025: The atmosphere was great. It suits those who wants to have a date with other half. Appetizers tasted great but not the pasta. We order 4 different types of pasta. It was under cooked and too salty. We ended up having the second meal at Osteria da Fortunata.

26/06/2025: Chiming in here to confirm (as other reviews which guided us here mention), that this was the best meal of our entire trip — it beat every place in Puglia, Amalfi coast and others in Rome. The staff are lovely, kind and honest and the quality of everything was top notch. The organic extra virgin olive oil they gave us with the bread is the best I’ve ever tasted, and their deconstructed tiramisu was delicious as well as creative. For sure eat here.

26/06/2025: Lovely restaurant. Awesome slow roasted pork rib, fantastic Casio e Pepe, terrific staff - fantastic last night dinner before flying out. Highly recommended if you are visiting Fiumicino or have a few hours layover at FCO and want to experience top level Roman cuisine.

11/06/2025: Small sandwich shop with big taste! Really enjoyed the meatball panini! The pesto smoked cheese was also very tasty.

07/06/2025: It was delicious and freshly prepared. The gentleman was always smiling and very accommodating. We loved the service. The atmosphere was unique and very cozy. If we'd had a few more days, we would have come more often. The tiramisu was also delicious! We paid €27 for two (2 paninis, 2 colas, 1 tiramisu). Excellent value for money.

30/06/2025: The roasted pork and pasta were outstanding—full of flavor and perfectly cooked. The pizza was crispy and especially tasty. All that, and the prices are very reasonable. Highly recommended!

06/06/2025: In my opinion, one of the best restaurants in Trastevere, or even in Rome. Off the beaten track, not overcrowded, with a very wide selection of dishes. I highly recommend the fish. Pizza from the wood-fired oven. Reasonable prices, including the wine.

15/07/2025: I went to Kisa on the recommendation of colleagues, since I'm not from the area, and I had a great time. The place is small, well-kept, and has a quiet, pleasant atmosphere. I had the roasted octopus with Sicilian caponata, which was really good: well-cooked and flavorful. I added sautéed chicory on the side, simple but tasty. Drink only water. It's not cheap, but it's not overpriced either. You pay a fair price for the quality. If you're looking for a nice place to eat good seafood in Rome, this is definitely a good choice.

09/06/2025: Interesting menu for those who want to eat something different from carbonara or other typical Roman dishes. Well presented, original and tasty dishes. Young and friendly staff. The only flaw is that in summer the place has the flaw of not having an outdoor space.

09/07/2025: We discovered it as a family on July 8th based on reviews. The pizza dough is delicious. Because we're Muslims, we only ate the cheese pizzas. It's a small establishment, and the owner is friendly. We paid 12.37 eur for a potato-stuffed sandwich and two slices of pizza. I recommend it.
