03/02/2025: Abbiamo scelto per cena il menu "Evoluzione", un percorso di 5 portate con i primi della tradizione ed abbinamento dei vini. Bistrot 64 è nel quartiere Flaminio, in via Calderini, zona con poco passaggio, soprattutto residenziale e la sera è difficile trovare posteggio ma anche individuarlo .Per quesro consiglierei di mettere una retroilluminazione a led sull'insegna a parete. Purtroppo non era presente il proprietario, il sig Emanuele Cozzo e quindi la conduzione del locale secondo me è stata penalizzata. Due camerieri freddi nell'accoglienza e nel presentare sia i piatti che i vini. A maggior ragione a chi sceglie una degustazione non bisogna elencare in modo asettico la bottiglia . In questo locale ci si aspetta una spiegazione se non accurata almeno fatta con passione. Due parole sulla cantina , chi la conduce, la tradizione e la terra del luogo, i sentori che puoi assaporare . Identica cosa per i piatti: lo chef Kotaro Noda ai fornelli non c'è più. La stella Michelin purtoppo non c'è più .Al suo posto Giacomo Zezza, per anni sous chef di Noda a cui consiglio di fare un salto in sala per chiedere opinioni sulle sue (belle)creazioni. D'altronde potrebbe permetterselo tranquillamente, i circa trenta posti non sono tanti e qualche minuto da dedicare alla sala non è impossibile. Riguardo il baccalà con brodo consiglierei di eliminarlo o non farlo servire dopo una carbonara : è come fare assaggiare un bicchiere di acqua dopo un amarone. Il locale è arredato minimale ma con gusto e le sedie sono comodissime. I- tavoli bene distanziati ed è possibile scambiare tranquillamente due parole senza il brusio assordante di altri locali. Sul tavolo avrei preferito una bella tovaglia di lino, ma questa è una scelta che putroppo va scomparendo. Il bagno è unico ma pulito. Mi aspettavo di meglio, ma nel complesso la cena è stata soddisfacente. La quarta stelletta non ve la siete meritata perchè con le due portate di dolci accompagnati con l'ottimo moscato mi avete lasciato il bicchiere vuoto. Lo avete visto con l'ultimo piatto ma non avete provveduto. Sono piccole mancanze ma se volete migliorare basta poco a rimediare.

20/02/2025: Just a better class of meal. The food is great, and you sense they want to make it good. We asked what wine to have with the meal.and the waiter brought 3 reasonably.proced options and explained them to us. Loved the fish starters, and the spaghetti, gnocchi, and chicken were excellent. Went back the following night. It's just a lovely place to eat.

11/01/2025: ieri sera cena da gaia bio, presente la signora Triana, una dei due manager, e la collaboratrice Giulia, silenziosa come l'altra (Emanuela) ma molto professionale e gentile. Stavolta ho provato una pizza vegana, molto buona e particolare, differente da tutte le pizze che si possono trovare in giro, ero stato varie volta da gaia bio ma avevo sempre preso pasta o riso mai pizza. Altri hanno preso riso nero, straccetti, pasta con lupini, insomma tutto ottimo. per concludere uno strudel, perfettamente eseguito. Tutti i dolci e i gelati sono fatti da loro. Da bere il rosso piceno che prendo sempre, buono e genuino stamattina niente mal di testa. Ottima anche la grappa, si puo' scegliere tra varie qualita'. Prezzi nella media, sicuramente non eccessivi. Volendo proprio fare una critica, la vetrata che da' sulla strada non e' schermata da tende o piante, come avviene in tantissimi ristoranti nel mondo, quindi chi siede al tavolo e' visibile dalla strada come in vetrina, a me non da fastidio ma qualcuno attento alla privacy puo' non gradire. Ma vabbe', noi senza dubbio torneremo. Locale strapieno, indispensabile prenotare per tempo. giovanni

23/01/2025: It was a very good surprise, I came across it a bit by chance while looking for a restaurant nearby. It's a bit lost in a small street, there weren't many people when I went there (in January for a weekday lunch). The food was really good, including homemade pasta and dishes that changed daily. The desserts were very good too. The waitress was very friendly, with an adorable dog who greets you at the door. The prices were very good compared to the quality of the dishes. If I had more time I would have gone back!

14/01/2025: Found it on Google last minute since we were in the Piazza Navona area. We were craving carbonates and stopped. Nothing to say, the food is really good. We were unlucky with the service because it took over an hour to come out. We were also in a hurry and with small children but in the end we left quite satisfied.

14/02/2025: I often went to dinner here. Unfortunately the prices have almost doubled. The quality is there but for a dinner around 45/50 euros per person. Before I spent 30.

22/01/2025: Per la seconda volta sono tornata con un'amica a mangiare in questa meravigliosa trattoria che si trova nel mio quartiere; la loro carbonara e' veramente ottima, era da tempo che non mangiavo una carbonara fatta come si deve. Il servizio e' attento e cordiale, il locale e' accogliente con un tocco retro' che lo rende elegante nella sua semplicita', i prezzi sono a mio avviso, molto onesti . Lo consiglio! Laura C.

05/01/2025: Ottima scoperta, siamo andati a cena io e mia moglie in questo locale scoperto per caso ben curato, con ottima cucina e personale che ci ha fatto sentire subito a nostro agio. Consigliatissimo, ci ritorneremo sicuramente con i nostri figli e i nostri amici perché secondo noi adatto ad ogni situazione. Continuate così

12/01/2025: Endroit tranquille mais proche du colisee. Bon rapport qualité/prix,service agréable et petit limoncello offert à la fin du repas . Les pâtes sont excellentes. Conseil de réserver mais sinon cela vaut le coup de faire un peu la queue.

22/01/2025: We were well received and our order was quickly served. The wine list was excellent! The three of us ordered the same dish, gnocchi with shrimp sauce... the pasta was good, but there was not much sauce and only 3 small pieces of shrimp were served on each plate. We were a little disappointed with the food on New Year's Eve. Rome has a ton of great restaurants and I plan on returning to the city, but not to Vecchia Locanda.

19/01/2025: Gorgeous food, excellent service! Traditional , small, Italian restaurant. Filipe and staff were helpful, excellent wine choices. Delicious food. Authentic and genuine- great choice of food, from seafood to stakes! There is so much choice for restaurants, it was hard to know where to go. We have been to other restaurants near by that are not as good- so glad we found this place for our last night.

24/01/2025: Siamo tornati in questo ristorante dopo molto tempo, e abbiamo trovato una piacevolissima conferma. Ricordavo una carne ottima, e anche dopo diverso tempo l'ho trovata ancora così, tenera e gustosa. Buoni gli antipasti, bella la varietà. Prezzi onestissimi, vale la pena allontanarsi dalle zone piu frequentate per mangiare davvero bene.

11/01/2025: The food is delicious and the guy is kind. He's fun and charming. The carbonara is delicious, but it's a bit salty. But that's the average in Rome, so I recommend it. It's delicious.

11/01/2025: We ate wonderfully. Very nice and elegant place The taste of the food exceptional. We ordered a ministerne and a grilled chicken. The service is not far behind, very friendly, helpful, polite, attentive. I recommend it 100%.

19/02/2025: They have recently changed the menu. The quality is much worse. We ordered 3 pastas carbonara and instead of guanciale they had bacon and the egg cream was curdled and had too much oil. Obviously there is not a single Italian eating here and there are many tourists due to the reviews and the location. We will not repeat the experience.

12/01/2025: Tastefully furnished place and nice atmosphere, but food with various errors: octopus salad (overabundance of unnecessary raw onions), tagliolini with chopped fish (too spicy to the point of annoyance), cacio e pepe ravioli with prawns (too much pecorino which covered all the flavors). Tiramisu (only mascarpone, ladyfingers, egg and coffee not received), chocolate sphere with hot passion fruit juice (overabundant and slightly acidic juice) Considering the cost ... I recommend tasting the dishes before serving.

06/01/2025: Today we went to this gem of a restaurant....excellent service, excellent quality and it feels like being at home, thank you, we will be back!!!!!
