14/03/2026: Typical restaurant, quaint and warm atmosphere! Outstanding food. I've never ordered soup in a restaurant, but here I was inspired by the chickpea and chestnut soup... what can I say... it's my new favorite dish! Rosemary steak with rosemary is also exceptional! I highly recommend it. Thanks!

27/12/2025: Very annoying waiter outside, extremely pushy, thought it was the restaurant next door. Portion is extremely small and food is below average for Rome.

26/10/2025: The worst. Better to stay hungry than eat in this place. Pizza is terrible. If I hadn't eaten pizza in other restaurants in Rome and only ate in this particular place, I would have thought that Italian pizza is a fairy tale. The prices are very high while the food is not worth it at all. But the service is even worse. They don't love what they do. They hate it and it shows. Stay away from them.

05/11/2025: They're ripping you off with the prices. Café Napoleón/ Bar Brasile SRL Be careful, the price displayed in the window isn't the same as the price on the bill. We ordered something simple to snack on in the mid-afternoon, a panini and a Coke. When the bill arrived, it was impossible to understand what it showed or what they were charging because nothing matched up. The waiter who served us seemed to understand the mistake when we complained, but another one rushed to say that the extra charge was because they brought it to the table (which was right next to the service display case, not even on the terrace). Seriously, where have you ever seen such audacity?! Oh yes, of course, that's what you see in Rome, and very often. Honestly, today we're fed up with this kind of trickery in many restaurants in Rome. They don't know how to inflate the bill because prices have to be fixed no matter what you order. At another restaurant, during lunch, they brought bread to the table, saying beforehand that it was included with the dishes, but in the end, they charged us for the bread (very expensive, like everything in Rome) even though we hadn't asked for it. And so, history repeats itself in Rome, making it eternally unbearable. They say all roads lead to Rome, of course not. With this mistreatment of tourists, they leave you with no desire to return. Customer service in Rome is a disgrace and an outrage!

05/11/2025: A place that initially seemed promising. You arrive, check the prices, order, and when the bill arrives, it doesn't match the prices. You complain, they don't know what to say... and then the waiter, quick to put out the fire, tells you the extra charge is for table service, something that isn't mentioned anywhere on the receipt. Rome needs to take a good look at these things. I imagine few people complain for fear of looking foolish in front of friends and family, whom they're making jealous of the trip to the Eternal City. But the sad reality is that Rome is a chaotic, expensive, dirty city, with a great lack of empathy towards visitors. This café is a perfect example... but it's something that happens day in and day out during a stay in this city. P.S. And don't tell me it's the "charm." It's the "story" they tell.

02/04/2026: The lasagna was delicious. Everything was very tasty. It's lovely to eat at night by the warmth of the gas burners. I definitely recommend it. As for the prices... they're about average for what you'd spend in Europe.

08/02/2026: Great view, okay service, mediocre food. Go literally anywhere else. We ordered a quick lunch here with two drinks and nearly finished our food before the drinks ever came out (25+ minutes). The sandwich ingredients were fine but the bread was terrible and stale, ended up just picking out the ingredients and leaving the bread. I’d definitely skip this place.

09/07/2025: Capisco il mantra della difficoltà nel trovare personale, ma far salire e scendere due volte i clienti per trovare un tavolo per DUE persone, prenotato, dicendo che non è disponibile, è veramente incredibile! Pizza buona, buona scelta di vini a calice, urge un po' più di organizzazione e professionalità.

18/06/2025: Cena con amici, due tavoli da 14 persone, uno per adulti e l’altro per bambini. Abbiamo ordinato alle 20,45. Alle 21,30 il tavolo degli adulti aveva già ricevuto antipasto e piatto principale. Il tavolo dei bambini alle 22,15 ha iniziato a ricevere le pizze…. Su 14 hanno iniziato a mangiare in 3. Gli altri aspettavano…Non aggiungo altro. Vergognoso. Non ci torneremo più.

08/03/2026: Found by chance, this place was a pleasant surprise. The atmosphere is simple yet refined and spotlessly clean. Very good dishes, authentic flavors, and portions like those of a traditional trattoria. Attentive and fast service. Not much to say, if you're looking for an honest trattoria, this is the right choice!

03/03/2025: We sat down on "Fat Thursday" (of course, Italians don't know this custom) and left very happy.

01/03/2025: I stopped for a coffee, cappuccino, and a slice of pizza. There were two of us. I asked if we could sit there, and they pointed to some stools. Since they were uncomfortable, I asked if we could go to the dining room, and they said no problem, and we could go wherever we wanted. The space was cramped, and we were face-to-face with our neighbors. We asked for two glasses of water, which are usually provided with the coffee. A 10-minute wait. Finally, my friend tried to go to the counter and lure us to bring them to the table. The surprise came with the bill. Coffee was €2.50, cappuccino €3.50, and a slice of pizza (very good) was almost €10. It was as if at a pizzeria we would have gotten a round pizza and received better service. No one had mentioned the surcharge at the table. When I stood up and ordered a coffee, it cost €1.30. No menu was displayed, the staff were almost all foreign and colorful, perhaps intentionally placed because of their limited communication skills with Italians. My idea, eh... I don't recommend it because of the dishonesty, the customer service, and the prices. I recommend it because of the taste of the products. .... But what can I say? Tourists are their main target, customer service doesn't matter.
