29/04/2026: We were getting seated by the waiter and wanted to order our food with drinks, which you also need no pay an extra service-fee per person for. I do not eat any meat and wanted to order a sandwich without. He rudely declined my request. Out of kindness we were open to just ordering our drinks, but he declined us service and kicked us out.

07/05/2026: Coffee was pretty bad. I ordered a caffe latte and it did not taste fresh at all. Italian coffee is usually great but this felt like old beans were used.

01/05/2026: Staff very friendly, drinks are good, long time for waiting for food. You get plastic fork and paper plate. It tastes good though.

01/05/2026: Waiting an hour to order food, then almost an hour for each dish to be served? Nothing special on the menu, and the taste is very average. The prices are quite high for this kind of service and food. It's a real disappointment.

01/05/2026: Never again 🤢….. Terrible service… We had a horrible seafood appetizer… including some fried anchovies floating in oil 🤢… Spaghetti with clams was tasteless and flavorless… Never again…

20/05/2026: The food was very good, and the location is also very nice. The restaurant is definitely geared towards ceremonial lunches or dinners and seafood-based menus. The dishes were all good. In our case, the room was empty and therefore a bit too quiet, but obviously that wasn't a problem. Since there were only 22 of us, there was only one person serving the table. Overall, we had a good time.

16/10/2025: The homemade cookies are among the best I've ever eaten, and the welcome is incredibly warm. It makes you feel right at home.

24/08/2025: The chef comes to the table to explain what's on the menu, and this alone speaks volumes about the quality of the products offered. All the dishes exceeded expectations, everything was fresh and prepared to perfection. This will definitely be a regular stop for years to come.

29/09/2025: We found ourselves having lunch with a friend during a stop on a motorcycle tour. The place is fabulous! It was a perfect late-September day for an excellent lunch in a quaint restaurant. We ate fettuccine with porcini mushrooms, mutton skewers, and sautéed broccoli, along with dessert and coffee. Everything was excellent. The staff was friendly, and we chatted with the owner about the history of the place. A pleasant break before heading home.

21/09/2025: We went to Patrizia restaurant and our experience was not positive. The receipt even had a different name and address listed ("Vanilla Café" in Rieti), which creates confusion and a lack of transparency. We spent €25 for three iced teas and two desserts, a price completely disproportionate to the amount consumed. The place is beautiful, with relaxing music, but the atmosphere doesn't make up for it: the staff's manners don't make you feel welcome; in fact, they discourage you from staying and enjoying the experience. In short: an expensive place, lacking transparency, and with a welcoming atmosphere that leaves much to be desired. I wouldn't recommend it, as it's neither worth the expense nor the experience.

02/06/2026: We only came here to relax and have a drink and a beer. The drinks were served quite quickly, but that's where the positive experience ends. They didn't even clear away the drink glasses. At 3:25 PM, we asked for the bill and wanted to pay immediately. After waiting about 10 minutes, we approached the staff again, this time to someone who appeared to be a manager. She relayed our request, but still no one approached us. During this entire time, we saw the waiters standing in a group, chatting and laughing among themselves, while we waited just to pay the bill. Only the third time, when we stopped the waiter serving the next table, did we manage to resolve the matter. Furthermore, he asked us if we had asked for the bill earlier, even though we had already done so twice. In total, we wasted over 45 minutes just waiting to pay. This kind of disregard for customers is unacceptable, especially when someone has other plans and doesn't want to spend almost an hour trying to settle the bill. The service was completely disinterested in the customers. I definitely don't recommend it. P.S. I've attached a receipt with the payment date as proof.

31/05/2026: Avoid this tourist trap. On the one day of our trip when we decided to have lunch in a public square without checking reviews beforehand, we had to stumble upon this place. The prices are high, both for the food and the cocktails, but the quality is absolutely lacking. The food is mediocre, the portions disappointing, and the value for money very poor. Add to that the inattentive service, and you have an experience we definitely regret. With the number of excellent restaurants in the city, steer clear.

20/11/2025: Scam with Aperol Spritz prices - they promote it’s 4,90 EUR takeaway, but then they charge you 9,50 EUR for having it there. Aperol Spritz doesn’t appear in their menu, so we expected to be charged the same price as they promote for take away.

03/01/2026: The food was quite tasty, but the service was disheveling. The table was wiped with a cloth in front of us, leaving a typical cloth smell – I regret not leaving then – but it was raining heavily. The waitress took our order for freshly squeezed orange juice, and a moment later someone rushed over to explain that they were out of oranges and could use bottled juice. I ordered a pizza, but after a long wait, they brought pasta. I asked for a replacement, which prolonged the wait. The pizza was okay. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it.

30/12/2025: I had breakfast here, pancakes and cappuccino. Friendly staff.

23/05/2026: The welcome was decent, the food was spaghetti carbonara (not sure if it wasn't cream-free, but the gluten-free ones weren't spaghetti and were raw). An hour's wait for the table with waiters who didn't even know what to do. Normal price.

21/05/2026: After having eaten there another day, today we sat across the street from the restaurant on a curb, on the other side, and the waiter kicked us out. They're a bunch of jerks. We left because we were already leaving; otherwise, I would have made a scene and called the police.

03/02/2026: They scammed me!!!! I paid €2.50 for a coffee and €4 for a chamomile tea. Nothing special, by the way. I personally won't be going back!

08/01/2026: It was summer, so I asked for an ice cube to put in my espresso. They charged me €0.50 extra for the coffee.

16/05/2026: Scammers, to be blunt. I had booked a nearby restaurant, Primo San Lorenzo, for a conference dinner. The owner of that restaurant is clearly in cahoots with the owner of Tana Sarda, as it doesn't exist. We were redirected here; 70 completely unaware people were called 10 minutes before dinner to inform them that their reservation was, in fact, for a non-existent restaurant. I imagine the reason is that Primo San Lorenzo is a nice and "trendy" place (at least on the surface), while Tana Sarda is a low-end restaurant, ugly, old, that smells like a tourist trap and frozen food from miles away. Which is most likely what it is. The food is simply awful, the waiters are quite incompetent: the menu included one beer each and water for everyone, and they made a fuss because one customer didn't want a beer but something else. The place is absolutely sad. There's nothing redeeming about this place, which I would have given a #1 review even without the scam. Throughout all this, they were completely calm and seemed completely unconcerned about my protests of "you scammed us." In fact, they even had the audacity to complain to me that I hadn't been very precise about the numbers (which I had always made clear; I had chosen the other restaurant because it would allow standing, but this one is a dump and obviously unsuitable for the evening we'd planned). A surreal experience.

10/05/2026: I'm truly sorry to have to write this review because this restaurant had been a wonderful discovery for me and my boyfriend, but this time the experience was rather unpleasant. The courgette flowers were still frozen and were served 20 minutes later. Our order was lost, which can happen, but when the first courses finally arrived after almost an hour of waiting, the carbonara had an undercooked egg, the spaghetti was almost raw, and the pasta that was supposed to be with porcini mushrooms actually had mushrooms. We stood up and were allowed to leave without paying. An apology and more attentive staff would have also been appreciated.

14/05/2026: The atmosphere is well-kept, clean, and welcoming. The staff is helpful and very courteous. The portions are generous and the food is very good. I dined here on a trip with my friends and family, and we all enjoyed our meal, and it was highly recommended.

03/04/2026: A terrible experience, to say the least. We were at this restaurant near Termini because it had a special deal with the hotel during a school trip, so we had no choice... but it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. I've never eaten so badly. The food was simply disgusting: lasagna with a strong taste of used oil, inedible. The cutlet was clearly frozen, with pieces still frozen and the meat tasted almost spoiled. The salad wasn't fresh either. The cake was embarrassing: a chemical, nauseating taste, worse than the worst discount store snacks. It's not just a matter of taste: some of us felt sick after eating, which is really serious. The overall hygiene of the place also left a lot to be desired, making the experience even more unpleasant. To make matters worse, the staff filmed customers with their cell phones without their consent, including some minors. The next day, even though we had already paid, we decided not to return to avoid eating there again. A negative experience in every way. Absolutely avoid. I only gave it one star because it's not possible to give zero!

02/06/2026: My go-to in Rome for wonderful coffee, gentile service and GREAT assorted pasteries! Fabio at the bar is sweet, and Giovanna at the register is, as well. Highly recommended. AND ALL WELL-priced! Cappuccino €1.50.

15/05/2026: This review is not about the food quality or the service. If you’ve read the other reviews, you probably already have a clear idea of where they stand on those fronts. We tried to seek shelter under this restaurant's outdoor umbrellas during a day of extremely heavy rain and storms, only to be scolded by the waiters, who told us we had to pay just to stand under them. Eventually, a man came out from inside and said some things in a very angry tone as well. They were incredibly rude. If you are planning to stop here for a break, I’d suggest you think twice; you can definitely find another place nearby with much kinder staff.

07/05/2026: The most unqualified restaurant i have ever seen. Why? it is located just in front of 2000 years old Pantheon and serving with plastic tables and unclear kitchen stuff, and unqualified stuff. Really biggest disappointment of my life. Respect the Pantheon! The food may be ok but if it was across Roma Termini , not in front of Pantheon 🏛️ ! . Also generally %90 of restaurants in Roma is just 3th class ! I was once in a bar 50meters from Great Collesium and it was like an outdated unqualified hostel kitchen. ℹ don’t understand, guys, the ROME has 3000 years of history and today’s Rome service is kinda 3th world class, including service and stuff used in restaurants. The food may be ok but the athmosphere of restaurants are like asian beach side places.
