09/09/2025: Title: (NO) QUALITY and (POOR) SERVICE The impressive lobby could be deceptive: 4-star hotel room without a minibar or complimentary coffee maker. Bathroom worthy of a 2-3-star hotel. Questionable cleanliness (there was dust under the bed for the 3 days of our stay). Not to mention the rudeness of the receptionist the night we arrived: - he didn't let us into the hotel parking lot to unload our luggage. - he didn't help us with the room's air conditioning, which wasn't working; he said, "I'm not a maintenance man..." So, how do they give stars to hotels in Rimini? This one didn't deserve more than 2 stars... and anyway, politeness isn't measured in stars...

09/09/2025: I rate this hotel very highly – clean and nice rooms, a large balcony, and reading other reviews, everything worked, and the toilet worked. The room was air-conditioned and had a window. The reception staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious, served buffet-style, but the waitress brought our chosen items to the plate, ensuring order and cleanliness. Breakfast offers both sweet and savory options – from simple sandwiches to cakes and fruit. The location is excellent, close to the beach, where you can rent sunbeds (two sunbeds and an umbrella for 14 euros per day). However, you can also use the nearby public beach without sunbeds. The beach is very well-maintained and clean. Near the hotel are two small markets, a promenade, and a bus stop. However, we noticed that the part of town where the hotel is located is quieter, while the part near the Old Town and the Ferris wheel is noisier, more party-oriented, and more crowded. The only major downside was the lack of information about the pool closure. I think they should have informed the booking process that the pool will be closed when booking in September. We chose this hotel primarily for its proximity to the sea and the pool. No one at reception informed us about this either. Only when we went there ourselves and saw the pool was covered did we ask if it was already closed, and we were told it was because it was too cold. We stayed from September 3rd to 6th, and other hotels still had their pools open, and the temperature was around 30°C. The jacuzzi was also closed, which is understandable, as it's better to use a hot tub when it's "cooler." Apart from that, everything was top-notch.

22/01/2026: Terrible. Definitely could not recommend less. Me and two other friends entered the restaurant, and the one ahead me said “buona cera” and when i came in they seemed offended and didn’t even respond when i said “ciao”. then my friend checked if there was a restroom because my other friend had a “lady emergency” so she really had to go immediately. Then as me and my other friend proceeded to look at the counter to buy something (obviously we wouldn’t use the restroom and not buy something) and the woman working stopped and told ther in a very unpolite way that she couldn’t leave the restroom and that she had to leave. also, the other person working said she couldn’t use the restroom even if we bought something. So if you come here and expect minimum decency, dont even bother going in.

22/01/2026: This establishment is simply awful, the staff are incredibly rude. My friends and I went in intending to buy something to eat and use the restroom, however, I was prevented from doing my business and they were even more unpleasant to me, even though they realized we didn't understand their language. The food was also very dry and generally in poor condition (it seemed to have been in the display case for too long). I wouldn't recommend it to anyone!

27/10/2025: Pizza I think frozen, my stomach hurts thank you. Salad not even seasoned. Hard bread. Rude waitress and exorbitant price. I don't like to leave bad comments but there are limits. It's a joke and a shame because the terrace is rather nice

22/10/2025: Nothing to complain about, a very friendly atmosphere and a place with a wide selection of both sweet and savory items. The outdoor area is also very nice and quiet. Excellent choice.

09/01/2026: Excellent stay at La Griffe Hotel in Rome. The room was very comfortable, perfectly clean, with high-quality bedding and impeccable linens. Everything is well-maintained, making for a truly pleasant stay after a day of sightseeing. The hotel also has a rooftop restaurant, for which reservations are essential. The experience rivals that of a top-notch restaurant, both in terms of the quality of the food and the exceptional setting. A huge plus: the kindness of all the staff. The team is attentive, available, very professional, and always smiling, which makes all the difference. The breakfast included in our stay was perfect: fresh, varied products with an excellent balance of sweet and savory options, something to satisfy every taste. Finally, the hotel is ideally located near the Repubblica metro station, making it very easy to get to the main attractions such as the Colosseum and the Trevi Fountain.

09/01/2026: We stayed January 7-10, 2026. The location is excellent (we didn't use public transportation at all to get to the city's outer reaches: the Colosseum, Borghese Gardens, and the Vatican). Reception is open 24 hours (we checked in at 3 a.m.), the heating is working, there's always hot water and good pressure, and a heated towel rail. Breakfast is served from 7 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. on the terrace (covered and open) with a gorgeous view. It's very filling: omelettes, bacon, fresh and grilled vegetables, homemade yogurt, nuts, fruit, sweets and local desserts, Parmesan cheese, local sausages, and more. The waiters bring coffee at breakfast. Economy rooms by default come without a window (Booking doesn't mention this, but the official website where it's cheaper does): there is a window, but it overlooks a dark service staircase, which cuts out both fresh air and light. Economy room 520 was warm and stuffy (no window for ventilation), had a full-size double bed, slippers and shower gel, shampoo (no hair conditioner), soap (seems to be the same everywhere), and clean linens. Three stars would be the maximum for the hotel's shabby condition (broken plaster in the corners, scratches on the floor and walls, a broken bathroom door handle, stuffy air with no fresh air, and very cramped bathroom and room). We asked to change rooms, and they upgraded us to a deluxe room at no extra charge. Room 810 deluxe was spacious, with parquet floors, a wide bed, robes and slippers, shampoos, etc., a bedroom area, and an area with leather sofas and armchairs in front of the TV, large windows with wide sills, and a view of the street over the rooftops. The experience was completely positive compared to the economy room (although the heated towel rail didn't work, there was no air conditioning, and the climate control wasn't working, so it was chilly in January). We took advantage of the free excursions (included in the room rate) from the BZAR program – 45-60 minutes long, in English, you can go on them every two hours. 7.50 euros per person per night is the city tax (listed separately from the room price when booking on the website).

22/01/2026: Worst ever burger I received. When you open it. It's like taking out from the bin. I ordered 1955,where the staff squeeze to much and inaccurately by the side of the burger. So when you opened it, kills your appetite

19/01/2026: McDonald’s Roma Giolitti This was an unforgettable stop, unfortunately for all the wrong reasons. Service was very slow and the restaurant felt overcrowded, making what should have been a quick visit drag on far longer than expected. After eating, I personally felt unwell, which took away any enjoyment from the meal. On top of that, the entrance became blocked for a period due to a disturbance, making it difficult to leave. If you’re looking for a smoother, faster experience, the McDonald’s inside Roma Termini is a much safer bet.

23/09/2025: I went to the restaurant about a week ago, and after what I saw, I will never go there again. I lost the desire to eat after I saw the waiters putting food on the plates with their hands without using gloves. It was truly disgusting. I will report this to the relevant authorities.

12/10/2025: Surreal experience: we called to reserve a table for 15 at 11:00 PM on a Saturday night, and they confirmed we could eat. Ignoring the fact that half the dishes on the menu weren't available, we ordered drinks and, after being brought a few beers and five bottles of water, we were told they'd run out of water for the evening (12:00 AM on a Saturday night). We'd ordered a few portions of chicken nuggets, and what we received were inedible chicken strips (left there after just one taste), undercooked chicken, and rancid meat. The best part was the sandwiches, since as soon as the first three arrived (we'd ordered 15), we noticed that the bun was burnt, the bacon wasn't bacon, and, most importantly, that the burger had been cut horizontally and was COLD. Given the situation, we decided to pay and get up without having barely touched any food, and without the staff apologizing or saying a word about what had happened. I think it would have been enough to communicate that they didn't have the resources/staff necessary to provide dinner (and water). I've never had an experience like this before, so if you're thinking of stopping by for a bite to eat, it's definitely worth avoiding.

12/10/2025: On Saturday night, 15 of us sat down, ready for a quiet evening with friends... and instead, we found ourselves in a nightmare. We started ordering drinks: they didn't have still water, only sparkling water. That says it all. Okay, we adjusted and ordered 10 bottles of sparkling water. After a few minutes, the waitress returned to tell us that... they'd run out of that too. We ordered beers: we asked the same waitress for Weiss. After two minutes, the owner appeared to inform us that they'd never had Weiss. Perfect, by now we should have figured out where we'd ended up. Let's move on to the food: "Kitchen Nightmare" quality, and that's not just a figure of speech. All the fried foods on the menu were "unavailable" because—in their own words—"we removed the fryer, now we use the air fryer." Perhaps to save on electricity. We then ordered some fried chicken strips (so to speak). After an hour of waiting, they arrive: sour, inedible. The sandwiches are burnt, with bacon that probably went bad, and the meat seems to have been shared between multiple sandwiches. The quality of the food was simply disgraceful, and the kitchen management is appalling. At that point, we decide to get up and leave without touching practically anything. They also charge us 10 euros each without having eaten practically anything. And, as if that weren't enough, we see the uneaten sandwiches being set aside as if they intend to reuse them in the future. A place like this shouldn't even open its doors to the public. Zero organization, food worthy of criticism, and management that's embarrassing to say the least. I've never had an experience like this. But the final gem... they had a DJ playing outside... there wasn't any still water, but there was a DJ.

21/08/2025: The review is from a while back. Perhaps one of the best carbonaras I've ever seen. The appetizers were very good, and the list of #1 fried artichokes in milk was exceptional. See you soon.

09/07/2025: Capisco il mantra della difficoltà nel trovare personale, ma far salire e scendere due volte i clienti per trovare un tavolo per DUE persone, prenotato, dicendo che non è disponibile, è veramente incredibile! Pizza buona, buona scelta di vini a calice, urge un po' più di organizzazione e professionalità.

18/06/2025: Cena con amici, due tavoli da 14 persone, uno per adulti e l’altro per bambini. Abbiamo ordinato alle 20,45. Alle 21,30 il tavolo degli adulti aveva già ricevuto antipasto e piatto principale. Il tavolo dei bambini alle 22,15 ha iniziato a ricevere le pizze…. Su 14 hanno iniziato a mangiare in 3. Gli altri aspettavano…Non aggiungo altro. Vergognoso. Non ci torneremo più.
