29/09/2025: We found ourselves having lunch with a friend during a stop on a motorcycle tour. The place is fabulous! It was a perfect late-September day for an excellent lunch in a quaint restaurant. We ate fettuccine with porcini mushrooms, mutton skewers, and sautéed broccoli, along with dessert and coffee. Everything was excellent. The staff was friendly, and we chatted with the owner about the history of the place. A pleasant break before heading home.

21/09/2025: We went to Patrizia restaurant and our experience was not positive. The receipt even had a different name and address listed ("Vanilla Café" in Rieti), which creates confusion and a lack of transparency. We spent €25 for three iced teas and two desserts, a price completely disproportionate to the amount consumed. The place is beautiful, with relaxing music, but the atmosphere doesn't make up for it: the staff's manners don't make you feel welcome; in fact, they discourage you from staying and enjoying the experience. In short: an expensive place, lacking transparency, and with a welcoming atmosphere that leaves much to be desired. I wouldn't recommend it, as it's neither worth the expense nor the experience.

03/08/2025: Too expensive for what it is. Tiny terrace, bland atmosphere. And the staff are cold and unfriendly to tourists, even when paying… Definitely not a place I would recommend.

01/05/2026: Waiting an hour to order food, then almost an hour for each dish to be served? Nothing special on the menu, and the taste is very average. The prices are quite high for this kind of service and food. It's a real disappointment.

01/05/2026: Never again 🤢….. Terrible service… We had a horrible seafood appetizer… including some fried anchovies floating in oil 🤢… Spaghetti with clams was tasteless and flavorless… Never again…

02/06/2026: We only came here to relax and have a drink and a beer. The drinks were served quite quickly, but that's where the positive experience ends. They didn't even clear away the drink glasses. At 3:25 PM, we asked for the bill and wanted to pay immediately. After waiting about 10 minutes, we approached the staff again, this time to someone who appeared to be a manager. She relayed our request, but still no one approached us. During this entire time, we saw the waiters standing in a group, chatting and laughing among themselves, while we waited just to pay the bill. Only the third time, when we stopped the waiter serving the next table, did we manage to resolve the matter. Furthermore, he asked us if we had asked for the bill earlier, even though we had already done so twice. In total, we wasted over 45 minutes just waiting to pay. This kind of disregard for customers is unacceptable, especially when someone has other plans and doesn't want to spend almost an hour trying to settle the bill. The service was completely disinterested in the customers. I definitely don't recommend it. P.S. I've attached a receipt with the payment date as proof.

31/05/2026: Avoid this tourist trap. On the one day of our trip when we decided to have lunch in a public square without checking reviews beforehand, we had to stumble upon this place. The prices are high, both for the food and the cocktails, but the quality is absolutely lacking. The food is mediocre, the portions disappointing, and the value for money very poor. Add to that the inattentive service, and you have an experience we definitely regret. With the number of excellent restaurants in the city, steer clear.

23/05/2026: The welcome was decent, the food was spaghetti carbonara (not sure if it wasn't cream-free, but the gluten-free ones weren't spaghetti and were raw). An hour's wait for the table with waiters who didn't even know what to do. Normal price.

21/05/2026: After having eaten there another day, today we sat across the street from the restaurant on a curb, on the other side, and the waiter kicked us out. They're a bunch of jerks. We left because we were already leaving; otherwise, I would have made a scene and called the police.

03/01/2026: The food was quite tasty, but the service was disheveling. The table was wiped with a cloth in front of us, leaving a typical cloth smell – I regret not leaving then – but it was raining heavily. The waitress took our order for freshly squeezed orange juice, and a moment later someone rushed over to explain that they were out of oranges and could use bottled juice. I ordered a pizza, but after a long wait, they brought pasta. I asked for a replacement, which prolonged the wait. The pizza was okay. Overall, I wouldn't recommend it.

14/05/2026: The atmosphere is well-kept, clean, and welcoming. The staff is helpful and very courteous. The portions are generous and the food is very good. I dined here on a trip with my friends and family, and we all enjoyed our meal, and it was highly recommended.

03/04/2026: A terrible experience, to say the least. We were at this restaurant near Termini because it had a special deal with the hotel during a school trip, so we had no choice... but it was one of the worst experiences I've ever had. I've never eaten so badly. The food was simply disgusting: lasagna with a strong taste of used oil, inedible. The cutlet was clearly frozen, with pieces still frozen and the meat tasted almost spoiled. The salad wasn't fresh either. The cake was embarrassing: a chemical, nauseating taste, worse than the worst discount store snacks. It's not just a matter of taste: some of us felt sick after eating, which is really serious. The overall hygiene of the place also left a lot to be desired, making the experience even more unpleasant. To make matters worse, the staff filmed customers with their cell phones without their consent, including some minors. The next day, even though we had already paid, we decided not to return to avoid eating there again. A negative experience in every way. Absolutely avoid. I only gave it one star because it's not possible to give zero!

16/05/2026: Scammers, to be blunt. I had booked a nearby restaurant, Primo San Lorenzo, for a conference dinner. The owner of that restaurant is clearly in cahoots with the owner of Tana Sarda, as it doesn't exist. We were redirected here; 70 completely unaware people were called 10 minutes before dinner to inform them that their reservation was, in fact, for a non-existent restaurant. I imagine the reason is that Primo San Lorenzo is a nice and "trendy" place (at least on the surface), while Tana Sarda is a low-end restaurant, ugly, old, that smells like a tourist trap and frozen food from miles away. Which is most likely what it is. The food is simply awful, the waiters are quite incompetent: the menu included one beer each and water for everyone, and they made a fuss because one customer didn't want a beer but something else. The place is absolutely sad. There's nothing redeeming about this place, which I would have given a #1 review even without the scam. Throughout all this, they were completely calm and seemed completely unconcerned about my protests of "you scammed us." In fact, they even had the audacity to complain to me that I hadn't been very precise about the numbers (which I had always made clear; I had chosen the other restaurant because it would allow standing; this one is a dump and obviously unsuitable for the evening we'd planned). A surreal experience.

10/05/2026: I'm truly sorry to have to write this review because this restaurant had been a wonderful discovery for me and my boyfriend, but this time the experience was rather unpleasant. The courgette flowers were still frozen and were served 20 minutes later. Our order was lost, which can happen, but when the first courses finally arrived after almost an hour of waiting, the carbonara had an undercooked egg, the spaghetti was almost raw, and the pasta that was supposed to be with porcini mushrooms actually had mushrooms. We stood up and were allowed to leave without paying. An apology and more attentive staff would have also been appreciated.

02/06/2026: My go-to in Rome for wonderful coffee, gentile service and GREAT assorted pasteries! Fabio at the bar is sweet, and Giovanna at the register is, as well. Highly recommended. AND ALL WELL-priced! Cappuccino €1.50.

01/06/2026: I didn't try the food at the restaurant, so I can't evaluate it. However, I did try their ice cream, and the experience was quite negative. It felt like a low-quality product, with a gritty and unpleasant texture, so I wouldn't recommend it. Considering that it's part of their menu, this also affects my overall impression of the place. Furthermore, I used the restrooms, and they were in very poor condition. The cleanliness and maintenance clearly need improvement, which further detracts from my overall impression of the restaurant. In short, while I can't comment on their main dishes, my experience with other aspects of the restaurant leaves much to be desired.

01/06/2026: Stay away from this place! Zero hygiene and manners by the Indian staff there. One touched my ice cream with hands while adding a biscuit on the top. The other told me: “I said wait; you don’t have a mind.”

11/01/2026: Nemi 10/01/2026 The worst restaurant experience I've had so far! My partner and I, seeing the panoramic room with a lake view, decided to stay for lunch at 1:30 PM after reserving a table. Unfortunately, we began to see a couple of pseudo-waiters without uniforms, lacking a minimum of courtesy, bordering on arrogance, serving other tables that had arrived after us. When we complained, we were gestured from afar to stay relaxed because today was Sunday, so there were no rules. 🤔 After more than an hour, the first courses arrived... given the delay, we canceled our order for the second course, but the chef came from the kitchen, threateningly demanding that we accept the second course because it was already being cooked. At that point, we asked to take back the leftovers of the first courses because we were no longer hungry and also because my partner's carbonara was very salty. You won't believe it, but at this point, one of the pseudo-waiters takes the carbonara plate and, using my partner's fork, stuffs himself with a mouthful, drooling, and declares it's delicious! I would have reacted differently, but I paid the bill and we left, hoping to meet some traffic policeman to report the experience, but unfortunately, they were probably on their lunch break too. Anyway, it's a nightmare! These people should be wasting away somewhere else...not in restaurants!

08/05/2026: Food was alright. Server was okay. Did initially tell us bottle of wine was €24, but put it on bill for €32. Also charged a high service charge of €6 each with no bread!!! Overall felt not good value for money probably would not recommend!

22/05/2026: TERRIBLE experience here. A crooked establishment having separate menus and offerings for locals vs tourists and no price transparency. Will scam you if you let them. We came for “happy hour” as advertised but were told there “was no menu”. We asked to order the small plate of focaccia like the table beside us was having, and 2 glasses of wine. When we got the bill not even 10 minutes later my jaw hit the floor to see €52.80. €26 for 6 small pieces of stale focaccia, €9 per glass of wine and A 20% SERVICE FEE. After arguing with 2 different servers, a manager finally came over to confirm that we were correct and the price of the wines should not have been on our bill as that was the happy hour deal and corrected this. Had we not questioned or held our ground the servers absolutely would have scammed us to make more $$!! Disgusting and we felt very upset that there were many Italian ppl sitting who were obviously having a very different experience than any of the tourist tables.
