Even though 14 of us had arrived well after the allowed time, closer to closing, the owner proved to be very helpful. We ate very well and everything was of good quality. Excellent value for money. We will be back.

Booked with the fork at -50% but unfortunately there was no saving because we paid like in any restaurant as well as the quality was not excellent with really heavy fried food, the pizza was good very friendly staff and also the really good waiter. Sin.

I can't give an evaluation, because I wouldn't want to lie, I was passing through and as I like to take photos that attract attention to me, and to confirm my presence I take a photographer. Many times I wanted to come in but you can't do it if you can't afford it, all these are people who consume and don't pay by running away, nor do I know anything because I worked without a contract in Rome, via Doria.

I'm from Frascati and I had never eaten at Piave 1952...yet I had always heard good things about it! The wait, as often happens, was more than rewarded. I'll tell you about an experience made of the human warmth of Mr. Salvatore, one of the few restaurateurs with whom you can still exchange a friendly 'word' and not scant pleasantries when the dishes arrive... I'll tell you about a pleasant environment and atmosphere with a pleasant flavour. ancient, enriched with author's paintings, and warm! I'll tell you about the optical quality and craftsmanship in preparing supplì really on the phone, and an excellent carbonara (my husband is extremely demanding and sensitive about this dish). The meats were cooked well and seasoned to perfection, both the scallop with lemon and the pork shank with Mirto! I was extraordinarily happy to be surprised again by a 'new' corner of my town :) which evoked in me, in an evolved solution, the emotions of a typical Frascati. Thank you!

Trattoria incrociata casualmente durante una passeggiata nei vicoli di Frascati. Entriamo in sei, la sala è abbastanza piena. Ci accoglie una gentile signora che ci spiega che la sua trattoria è la più antica di Frascati, 80 anni di tradizione. Ci sediamo, la signora ci consiglia un antipasto, accettiamo: una melanzana alla parmigiana, porzione minimale, e un tortino di broccolo, piccolissimo. Sei porzioni, 60 euro. Questo per iniziare. Chiediamo dei primi, tre fettuccine funghi porcini (ma erano funghi coltivati, dei porcini c'erano poche tracce, e due gricie. Buone e abbondanti, prezzo equo, 10/12 euro a porzione. Uno di noi chiede una polenta con salsicce, buona anch'essa, ma al momento del conto scopriamo che costa 25 €! Uno sproposito, e tra l'altro non è neanche indicata nel menu. Chiediamo una romanella, ci dicono che è terminata! Tra gli antipasti e i primi è passata un'ora... Vabbè. Alla fine, paghiamo 173 euro in sei per sei mini antipasti, cinque primi, una polenta, sei caffè, due acque. Sessanta euro a coppia, trenta a persona. Non ci siamo proprio, mi spiace. Non torneremo.

Ottimo ristorante di cucina della tradizione romana, locale storico, arredamento bellissimo e classico. Per fortuna esistono ancora locali così!!!!
