Discovered by chance, my first impression was captivated by the ethnic Spanish-style decor and (perhaps) by the extremely kind, welcoming, and friendly owner. It has two large, tastefully furnished rooms. Welcome bread with delicious olive oil served with a (delicious) garlic sauce on the side. Very good oysters, especially the baked one, an exceptional discovery, truly exquisite. Paella de Mariscos for two, generous, very beautiful to look at, good to eat, but room for improvement. The flavor is a bit distant from Spanish paella; the very fresh fish is served on the spot. Very good and alcoholic red sangria. Fast and attentive service. Desserts: New York cheesecake and brownie with homemade vanilla ice cream, delicious, absolutely worth trying. I recommend this place. Definitely worth trying. On-street parking.

My best friend and I went here for lunch on Women's Day. The place is amazing, I love the design (I've attached a photo) 🌴 The menu is varied and unique, with seafood, of course! A wonderful relaxing break from the chaos of Rome...Fregene is always a great place, Casa Carmen is the jewel in the crown!

A discreet restaurant in the center of Fregene, with excellent food and impeccable service. The perfect option for a Sunday getaway with friends in a very welcoming atmosphere. Highly recommended.

We had lunch at this new restaurant with an exotic name due to the owners' past. The place is tastefully decorated and has been meticulously detailed. After eating anchovies with mozzarella and two first courses: Fregola Sarda, risotto, and two desserts drowned in coffee, we were more than satisfied. Welcoming and knowledgeable staff. What can I say? Everything was exactly what we hoped for. Beautiful place, good food, and excellent staff, plus good value for money. We'll gladly return, as we had a truly wonderful time, so we highly recommend it. Nice note: the (few) tables in the garden offer a delightful atmosphere.
