21/11/2025: We ate fish, a nice discovery, a small restaurant that will soon change location, therefore expanding its seating, the chef (owner) is kind and knowledgeable.

12/10/2025: This is my second time here. The food is absolutely delicious, and the price is reasonable, considering you're just steps from Piazza del Popolo. The staff is exceptionally friendly, and they're always prompt in recommending dishes, even to foreigners (they wanted the carbonara with ravioli!!!!). I'm taking one star off only because of the long wait (about half an hour), which could be improved.

03/10/2025: We arrived late into Rome and were looking for some feel good food after a long day of travel. We normally try to use Google and search for restaurants 4.5 and above so La Taverna Del Costa would not make the cut based on it’s present rating. However to pasta Vongole and Mushroom/Sausage Penne were outstanding. With a half carafe if house red we had a great meal. We were met by the staff with smiles and great service. It was a humble yet warm environment, that just served the best everyday food. It deserves a much higher rating and is Excellent value.

29/11/2025: A beautiful place. Friendly and helpful staff. The food was truly excellent. I'll be back in the summer to enjoy lunch outside on the lakeside.

04/11/2025: Review of Sunday 02/11/25 Really disgusting starting from the road which already means a bad sign Then we go down all the leaves means that they don't clean we enter and in the kitchen there are cooks without hats we took a photo soon there will be checks in plain clothes and the cook who is about 50 years old every male who came in (even my husband) felt this is ugly or cute if you want go and do another job, the young waiter we asked him for the tiramisu and he brought us a cake with pears he had wide eyes he definitely had a good night.. Then let's not talk about the bills he told us that we paid cash he gave us more discount we saw a discount of € 6

14/09/2025: We went here for an aperitif among the vines... the view, food, and wine were excellent! Perfect for sunset... They customized the menu for both those with allergies and pregnant women. The arrangement of the pallets holding the food could be slightly reconsidered; perhaps they were too big for the available space. The staff were very kind and helpful. We'll definitely be back!!!

30/08/2025: Aperitif in the vineyard. A lovely experience, with good food and wine. You have to accept the occasional bug and a bit of dirt, but that's part of the experience, in my opinion.

24/05/2025: A place known by pure chance, but it was a very pleasant discovery. The welcoming and nicely furnished environment, entire room, veranda and in the summer also outside. The service bordering on impeccable, courteous, polite and helpful. The excellent cuisine, the fish is delicious, the fresh pasta excellent and cooked to perfection, fried calamari excellent, the best I have ever eaten, crispy and slightly greasy batter, which makes it light and not at all heavy. We recommend this place for anyone who wants to eat well and in peace. Honest quality and price

08/11/2025: A very charming location, typical of a well-used inn, with the feel of someone who has turned their passion and love for cooking into their profession. There's limited seating inside, but there's also a small covered veranda outside. Very good dishes made with quality ingredients. The staff is friendly and helpful. If you're in the Greccio area to visit the sanctuary, I'd definitely stop here to indulge. Highly recommended.

04/11/2025: Leaving aside the uncomfortable chairs and the feeling of uncleanliness, the worst thing was the service. It was "smart," to say the least, and rather unpleasant. No attention was paid to intolerances: even though we specified lactose intolerance and requested a first course without cheese, a normal dish was delivered, covered in cheese, and the owner even blamed the guest, almost as if he had to eat it anyway. The first course was nettle cream, extremely salty and full of pecorino cheese, but no nettles were served. Extremely slow service. It's been a long time since a restaurant experience was this unpleasant; it ruined our trip.

24/10/2025: The property is located on the seafront, you step out onto the balcony and you find yourself right on the sea, the room is spacious and clean, we will definitely return.

24/09/2025: We stumbled upon it... Too '80s, thankfully clean. The packed lunch was really sad!!! Better nothing.

28/07/2025: Personale gentile, Alessandro si è sempre messo a disposizione con consigli da fornire per la buona riuscita del Battesimo. È andato tutto meglio del previsto! Lo consigliamo sia noi festeggiati che gli invitati!

18/06/2025: Siamo stati in questo magnifico ristorante il 14 Giugno per i 50 Anni di matrimonio dei miei genitori, eravamo circa 30 persone e siamo stati davvero bennissimo. Già dall'accoglienza per degli stuzzichini all'aperto con dei fritti e delle tartine di pesce squisite. All'interno, nella sala climatizzata abbiamo proseguito con un mix di antipasti(Insalata di mare, soutè di cozze, salmone e moscardini) per poi passare ai 2 assaggi di primi(scoglio e crema di scampi) e concludere con un misto di frittura e orata in crosta davvero deliziosa così come tutti gli altri piatti. Per finire, sorbetto, frutta torta e caffè il tutto accompagnato da un ottimo vino. Consiglio a tutti questo ristorante per la qualità, la location ed il servizio, tutti davvero gentilissimi e disponibili.

26/11/2025: Haec deversoria bona est. Having stumbled upon this restaurant, with its ancient Roman decor near the Ostia archaeological site, we received a warm welcome. The food was good quality, the service a little slow but very friendly.

25/11/2025: The food was well-cooked, touristy but not overly so, the selection wide but not overwhelming, the prices reasonable for the portions, the staff efficient and friendly. Overall, everything was good... but paying €9 for a half-empty glass (two fingers) of Chianti seems like a rip-off. There wasn't a "glass" option on the menu; I asked if it was possible, and they said yes. It's my fault for not asking the price (in fact, I paid without complaining), but it's still a rip-off.

21/11/2025: We walked quite a way before deciding to go in here. The restaurant is very cozy and has lovely old-fashioned decor. I'd like to mention first that the portions are good and the food is very tasty; our compliments to the chef. What we didn't like was the waiter's service; he wasn't friendly and treated us differently compared to the regular customers, whom he was very nice to. I imagine he was judging who would spend more and who wouldn't, which is a shame. We didn't feel like trying the desserts...
