27/06/2025: Restaurante muy céntrico, bueno para probar la comida local. Nada de lo que quejarse pero, al mismo tiempo, nada es sobresaliente. Aún así, una buena opción si quieres probar la comida local.

14/12/2025: We chose to have lunch at this simple yet welcoming trattoria in the center of Sermoneta and had a wonderful time. The waiter was friendly and welcoming, and the daily set menu was delicious, plentiful, and excellent value (€20 for a first course, second course, water, and coffee—exceptional for Sermoneta!): polenta with a rich sausage/rib sauce, followed by pork tenderloin rolls in pancetta and bay leaves with a divine sauce! Perfect for a winter day! Thanks, and keep up the good work!

30/09/2025: I'd like to start by saying that I always like to book, both to avoid wasting time looking for a place to have lunch or dinner and, above all, to allow the restaurant owners to better organize their order. I arrive on Sunday at 2:00 PM, as booked. I wait for a table and in the meantime, I decide what to order. I order a grilled steak with porcini mushrooms and chicory for myself, while for my companion, I order grilled porcini mushrooms and tagliolini with fresh truffle. Shortly after, the waiter returns and informs me that the steak is out of stock. I then ask for lamb, but that too is unavailable. I settle for a mixed grill (all pork, which hadn't been specified). As a side, I order chicory, but it never arrives. The grilled meat and porcini mushrooms arrive, while the tagliolini arrive about 10 minutes later. Unfortunately, they're overcooked. The chicory, as mentioned, doesn't arrive. I don't feel like pushing it any further, so we end our sad lunch. When it came time for the bill, I pointed out that the chicory never arrived. I was told it was out and that there were broccoli, but they weren't served either. I'm specifying this so they don't end up on the bill. I forgot: the tagliolini were served after the next table, who had ordered after us, had already received them. They were probably ready, but they weren't delivered right away. The location is nice; we ate outside, and the staff seemed friendly. However, there's an obvious organizational problem. My suggestion: try to at least guarantee availability for those who took the time to book in advance.

09/09/2025: A historic beach on the Roman coast, always managed by a large family. All the amenities are there: umbrellas, sun loungers, deck chairs, showers, changing rooms, children's games, and courtesy and helpfulness—in short, everything you need for a day at the beach or a seasonal one just steps from home. Plus, a bar/restaurant, more basic than the classic Schiano restaurant, offering breakfast, aperitifs, and lunch with sandwiches or hot dishes, including fish, at a fair price. All this just 5 meters from the waves, under a wooden portico, always cooled by the sea breeze...in short, keep it up and improve where you can. See you in 2026!!!

23/01/2026: Obvious tourist restaurant however menu had a great value “bang for your buck” item. Bolognese, fries, and chicken for 15 euro which was a good “american” amount of food. Everything was just okay but you can’t beat the price.

16/02/2026: Sunday lunch with friends: Warmed by the February sun and cheered by Camilla's smile, we casually decided to stop here. It turned out to be an excellent choice: a charming location, super-fast, friendly service, and attentive to our every need. The food was sublime—special mention for the mussels— and for the fried fish, incredibly fresh and expertly fried. Prices in line with the quality of the offerings. I can't believe the negative reviews. Well done, keep it up. See you next time.

25/05/2025: The place is welcoming, the food delicious and I appreciate that you can ask for a vegetarian paella.

15/05/2025: Quality ingredients. The ham platter was really good, and the service was very attentive, even after specifying any food intolerances. I would have preferred a selection of tapas on the menu, which seemed almost marginal, and the focus was on paella when in reality there are much more noteworthy dishes like roast suckling pig and beef meatballs, or other seafood options. Prices are reasonable.

06/01/2026: I went for lunch on Epiphany Day. The atmosphere was comfortable and quiet, with lovely people. Exceptional service. The food was very high quality, with plenty of choice. A truly excellent place!

30/12/2025: There's room for improvement. The boss is lying on the couch watching football, and that's what's happening. The pasta wasn't al dente, and we were charged for service even though we didn't receive anything.

07/12/2025: We're not there yet... unprepared staff... soggy pizza and raw ingredients... no receipt if you pay in cash... go back to Naples... oh... they don't make supplì... in Rome... well... we can do without places like this...

12/11/2025: Terrible experience, not recommended! We stopped here after visiting the Colosseum, feeling tired and hungry, and decided to give this place a try — what a mistake. No one came to take our order for a long time, and when they finally did, we had to wait ages for our food. Two other groups who arrived after us were served and even finished their meals before ours arrived. When we asked the waitress about our order, she seemed irritated that we didn’t speak Italian and told us it would be ready “in two minutes.” When the food finally came, it was awful. The pasta with mushrooms had thick, undercooked pieces of meat, and even the pasta itself was half raw. Absolutely not recommended — save your time, money, and nerves!

01/02/2026: We stumbled upon this recently reopened restaurant, known as Ostieria. The ingredients are top-quality, and the atmosphere is familiar and welcoming, where courtesy and simplicity reign supreme. Don't expect formality or unnecessary pretension: here, you can sit back, chat, and enjoy the time. The chef, host Andrea, and the entire staff truly put their guests first, with attention, care, and dedication.

12/09/2025: Finally, a clean place that doesn't allow dogs or other animals 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻 I'll be back to try other dishes and give more opinions :)
