23/08/2025: At almost 8 a.m., the counter was completely empty, with no sweet or savory options. My partner, to avoid waiting too long, had to settle for a vegan croissant, while I opted for a simple coffee, since there was nothing savory available. Furthermore, the prices seemed a bit high for the quality of service. Truly disappointing, I'll never come back. For me, it's a complete no-no.

11/05/2026: Outdoor terrace in a pleasant little alley, warm welcome, excellent service, a real treat with their pasta.
03/05/2026: The service was extremely poor. I simply asked for some Parmesan with my pasta, but I couldn’t find our waiter. I repeatedly asked different staff members, and each time I was told “one moment,” yet nothing happened.
When the Parmesan finally arrived, it contained insects, which was completely unacceptable. After that, no replacement was brought. When I followed up, I was told they had “asked the kitchen,” but nothing further was done.
Overall, an appalling experience.

10/05/2026: It's a typical Roman restaurant; the food is very good, and the atmosphere and decor are pleasant. One small drawback: the waiter was alone in the dining room and seemed disillusioned. But overall, we had a good time.
02/04/2026: Unpleasant and disrespectful service. Rude waiter. The pizza is inedible unless you're starving, and even then... Prices don't match the quantity and quality, which is very poor.

01/02/2026: A half-empty piadina, missing the filling of parmesan and brie (instead of which, two small pieces of mozzarella) and eggplant (instead of the expected slices, three squirts of eggplant pulp). Disappointing and undoubtedly overpriced (three sparsely filled piadinas for the modest price of €26).

26/05/2026: After walking around the Ostia Antico in the heat, it was nice to sit in the shade surrounded by fragment plants and enjoy a reasonably priced 2 course lunch. I had the Caprese salad and Eggplant parmesan. It was just what I needed!
20/05/2026: Quirky restaurant with extensive menu, we had pizza and they were lovely. Service patchy but host was good.

They have three checkouts that are always open. Despite the crowds, there's never a wait. The pastries are excellent, especially the croissants. Great staff, always courteous, behind the counter. They're also a tobacconist, but not an Amazon pickup location. Parking is sometimes difficult in front, but easy in the Piazza Cina parking lot. They have outdoor seating. They're also open on Sundays and some holidays.
22/04/2026: It's a neighborhood staple.
Quality products, especially the mini desserts, are a strong point.
The gelato, however, is much less so, often falling short of expectations in terms of the number of flavors and quantity.
The cold savory treats are excellent, but the reheated ones often aren't at the optimal temperature to truly appreciate them.
Unfortunately, the counter staff frequently changes jobs, and this affects the quality of service.

04/05/2026: Osteria del Mercato needs no introduction, but I wanted to point out how delicious their vegan croissants are. I've never had them this good anywhere.
03/05/2026: We had a snack at this restaurant near Via del Corso.
Decor: A small, attractive, and well-decorated place at first glance, but it turns out to be quite large. The bar and the displayed food are enticing. It looks appetizing.
Price: The price/quality ratio is outrageous: 47 euros for two focaccias and two Diet Cokes, no less…
Food: The salmon and avocado focaccia was good (but not worth the exorbitant price of €15.80), and the tomato and mozzarella focaccia was also good, but still very expensive. The former was served with a small bowl of fries, which added nothing.
A bit pretentious, but decent in taste.

20/05/2026: The place is beautiful!! It's divided into two parts. You can choose to dine in the modern part or the old part!!! You can visit the caves and step back in time!!! They organize parties and events. The food? Excellent!!! If you want to taste REAL NEAPOLITAN pizza, you have to go to ERNESTO e VALENTINA! They offer various menus, you'll be spoiled for choice. Great prices! I recommend it to everyone. Quality and courtesy guaranteed.

11/04/2026: So glad we stumbled upon this place at just the right time today! I can't speak to the dinner service, because we only grabbed a pizza and some wine earlier in the day. But we found Ponzi to be an unassuming and authentic pizzeria/trattoria with delicious pizza, quick service, and uninflated prices. Speaking to the authenticity and value, multiple groups of actual Italians were our fellow patrons. In fact, this is one of the only establishments in Rome so far where I've heard more Italian than other languages.
09/04/2026: Emilia was super friendly to me, the food is perfect (very authentic Italian), it's not expensive (4 cheese pizza + limoncello + tiramisu) €22
It's totally worth it! You can even make a quick stop at Santa Maria Maggiore to take a picture.

31/05/2026: Excellent platter, and the beer, even on tap, wasn't great. What surprised me was the Campari Spritz, which I've never seen served in such a small glass...and it cost 7 euros. If you want me to come back, change your glasses; these tricks will only cost you customers.
