16/07/2026: We were immediately seated which was perfect, it's very hot weather today and the restaurant has AC which is excellent as we can enjoy our food in a cool atmosphere. We ordered pizza and it came quite quickly and was delicious. Would recommend this place

17/06/2026: The place was highly recommended by our aparthotel host. We was seated immediately, off to great start. The waitress gave us a few moments and came took our order starters and water. Starters ans water came, was blah . Waited a few for her to come and take the second order nothing. Let me say we was the only table seated outside. Within 10 minutes Two-four tops came in she seated took their starters brought and came and took the other tables second course. We was still waiting nothing. Went inside to try and place the order at the counter nothing. Finally went back to my table to get my cash to just pay for the two starters and water. Wallah they make eye contact to take my money. Service sucks all the other reviews that said that are telling the truth. Not sure if my ethnicity was not wanted there. 🤷🏾‍♀️

18/07/2026: I'm really sorry to have to give it a low rating. The establishment is very well-kept, the staff are friendly, and the atmosphere is quiet and family-friendly. The only downside is the food served at the kiosk on the beach. Truly awful. Less than 100g of unseasoned and tasteless couscous cost 8 euros. A practically empty piadina with just a slice of rancid "cheese" cost 10 euros. A "salad" with chicken cost 10 euros. The chicken was nonexistent; I counted four cubes of about 2g each. Four black olives, and lots of black and damaged leaves. If you ask for an extra sachet of oil, they turn up their noses; if you ask for two napkins because they're not available to customers, they turn up their noses. After practically throwing away everything we'd ordered because it was unthinkable, I asked a girl behind the counter if they prepared the food themselves or bought it... well, she replied that they make it every morning with fresh ingredients... but the label on the packaging says otherwise. Bah. The important thing is that whoever does them, does them well.

16/07/2026: Super fresh fish, excellent value, friendly and helpful staff. The pasta with potatoes, provola, and mussels is sublime. Highly recommended, also for its harborfront location.

15/06/2026: We were at this restaurant in Gaeta a few days ago. It's a lovely location because the outdoor tables are practically on the Gulf pier, even though there's constant traffic on the other side. Delicious food: sautéed mussels and clams, baby octopus and calamari appetizer, tagliolini with calamari, lemon, and clams, fried calamari and cod, rice with cod, beans, and escarole, pasta and potatoes... all exceptional. Unfortunately, once we got to the table, it took a truly biblical amount of time to be served, and I couldn't figure out why. Everyone around us had finished while our first courses were still waiting. Prices: a liter of wine, four first courses, a second course, two appetizers, and two liqueurs for €40 per person.

05/07/2026: I returned after waiting months for this place to reopen. It used to be my favorite neighborhood restaurant, a place where you could feel at home and eat excellently. Unfortunately, it was a disappointment. The service was attentive and punctual, but the food... truly disappointing. The menu is similar to the previous one—some names recall the old menu—but the quality and preparation were truly mediocre. We had the fried zucchini flowers (mediocre), the shrimp Catalana (decent), the spaghetti with bottarga and clams (mediocre, at times tasteless, and it's difficult to make a dish tasteless with bottarga), and the sea bass parcel, which was good. For €45 per person, there are better. What a shame. I was truly saddened because, sadly, it will no longer be my go-to local restaurant. A great loss.

16/06/2026: I dined at this restaurant a few weeks ago, honestly drawn by the fixed-price or all-you-can-eat meat menus they offer. Of course, when you eat all-you-can-eat meat, like all these all-you-can-eat options, you often find a surprise (and rightly so). There were two of us, and we opted for two menus with a mixed antipasto and all-you-can-eat beef slices for €25 each, excluding drinks. The antipasto, as is obvious, was filling and consisted of two bruschettas (one with radicchio I didn't particularly like), mixed cured meats (i.e., prosciutto, two types of salami, and loin), and cheeses (we only got one type of cheese, but whatever), and then something else that, to this day, I still haven't figured out what it was. I found it inedible because it was meaningless and even slightly bitter; we assumed it was fried spaghetti (?!?!?). Anyway, a passing grade is acceptable... The problems started later: they brought us the side dishes (obviously microwaved because some of the baked potatoes were piping hot and some were frozen) along with the appetizer... I understand trying to fill people up to get them to eat less meat... But I ate the chicory and potatoes before the meat. They brought the first cut of meat, without oil, salt, or balsamic vinegar, nothing. They salted it themselves, so it was either okay or nothing. I have to say the first cut of meat was neither praise nor infamy, with very little salt (that's how I like it)... The second round was a shoe sole FULL of salt. What can I say? I think the idea is even smart, but at this point I'd recommend raising the price but not getting lost in certain things, which, honestly, I found embarrassing.

11/04/2026: So glad we stumbled upon this place at just the right time today! I can't speak to the dinner service, because we only grabbed a pizza and some wine earlier in the day. But we found Ponzi to be an unassuming and authentic pizzeria/trattoria with delicious pizza, quick service, and uninflated prices. Speaking to the authenticity and value, multiple groups of actual Italians were our fellow patrons. In fact, this is one of the only establishments in Rome so far where I've heard more Italian than other languages.

09/04/2026: Emilia was super friendly to me, the food is perfect (very authentic Italian), it's not expensive (4 cheese pizza + limoncello + tiramisu) €22 It's totally worth it! You can even make a quick stop at Santa Maria Maggiore to take a picture.

24/07/2026: My family and I found this restaurant while exploring Prati and came in for lunch. The staff was very kind and helpful and the food was very good. Also the aesthetic was very pretty and colorful. Would definitely come back when in Rome again :)

23/07/2026: Pizza thin base just what we like! Service is in slow, but if you’re not in a rush, it’s worth the weight for the pizza!

03/06/2026: Chinappi to the president, the new management of the most famous Chinappi, a historic restaurant in Formia, sees Alessandro (formerly of Bella Blu) committed to offering a short but very carefully prepared menu. The orange garden outside is enchanting. Price €50-60.

09/05/2026: Dinner with my wife... Really very peaceful.... The food was excellent, the staff and owner were very kind, and the atmosphere was very nice, especially the veranda where we were. I will definitely be back.

03/05/2026: We had a snack at this restaurant near Via del Corso. Decor: A small, attractive, and well-decorated place at first glance, but it turns out to be quite large. The bar and the displayed food are enticing. It looks appetizing. Price: The price/quality ratio is outrageous: 47 euros for two focaccias and two Diet Cokes, no less… Food: The salmon and avocado focaccia was good (but not worth the exorbitant price of €15.80), and the tomato and mozzarella focaccia was also good, but still very expensive. The former was served with a small bowl of fries, which added nothing. A bit pretentious, but decent in taste.

27/07/2026: Good food but terrible service and rude staff. We got sat without menus and were ignored while other tables got served. We aksed for menus and got reprimanded for asking. Once we received menus we were forced to order immediately- drinks and food all at once. The manager argued and slammed her palm on the counter repeatedly as my husband used Google translate to communicate a severe nut allergy. For such a beautiful location it's really a shame to have had this experience.

26/07/2026: Terrible service and we had a child allergic to wasps and bees then they moved us inside and even there the wasps and bees arrived and there were no cutlery, cold cuts and drinks and they treated us very badly and it is also a very high price for the service provided not recommended
