18/06/2026: Staff is very nice, but never go near this place. They have bed bugs and are not in the slightest aware of their problem. The entire place is run down and in a bad state. The food was good though.

The staff is impeccable, very helpful, but especially calm, kind, and, above all, polite and knowledgeable. Last but not least, the dishes are exceptional; they're not afraid to explore both land and sea, and the ingredients are treated with absolute care. The focus is on delicate, elegant flavors that caress the palate with absolute class. The wine selection is sensational. A wide selection, capable of satisfying everyone. Absolutely one of the best places I've ever eaten.

02/07/2026: Last night I had the pleasure of discovering the restaurant Dai Pupi, located 10 minutes from Spagna. I discovered it with a The Fork discount. I immediately took advantage of the opportunity to try it. The food was truly exquisite, and you can tell it's a sophisticated place. If I had gone without the discount, it would certainly have been quite expensive. However, I must say it was a very pleasant experience, undoubtedly thanks to the kindness of the waitress, who welcomed us warmly from the start. The Fork discount was applied correctly, and we'll definitely be back to try other dishes. We forgot to take a photo of the cannoli, but I assure you it was delicious.

01/05/2026: I came here to eat with my parents to celebrate my dad's birthday. We had octopus salad and paella Gaetana. The mussels were also very good as an appetizer. The waitress is very attentive and stays in the dining room with the guests; service is very fast. I recommend making a reservation. At 1:00 PM, the place was almost empty, and it was a holiday; it gradually filled up.

19/05/2026: I stayed at this hotel with a three-night reservation, but unfortunately, after the first night, I decided to leave because the experience was truly disappointing. The property appears very old and in need of a complete renovation: dirty walls, neglected rooms, and a general sense of lack of care and cleanliness. The bathroom was one of the worst aspects of my stay. The presence of an ashtray in the bathroom gave me the impression that smoking was permitted in the rooms, which I personally found unpleasant. The bathroom fixtures were also extremely dated, including the bidet soap dish, which was visibly worn and dirty. Furthermore, the shower water didn't drain properly, and after a few minutes, the shower tray would fill completely, forcing my feet to stand in stagnant water. I also felt uncomfortable in terms of hygiene. Anyone with allergies, especially dust mite allergies, should be careful before choosing this property. During the night, I had difficulty sleeping and even breathing due to the strong feeling of stuffiness and dust in the room. Finally, breakfast was very disappointing: I went down to the breakfast room, but seeing the situation, I decided to leave without even having breakfast. I hate to leave a negative review, but my experience was truly awful.

14/05/2026: A decidedly unsuitable hotel, especially for business travelers who simply need a clean and decent establishment. The rooms are extremely neglected: dirty and stained carpets, damaged fixtures, cracked walls, old and poorly maintained furnishings. There's a general feeling of poor hygiene and a complete lack of care. The breakfast is embarrassing: dry, very low-quality bread, and encrusted coffee cups. The overall impression is of a hotel stuck in the past, with no real interest in maintenance, cleanliness, or service quality. I would not recommend it, and frankly, its inclusion in business agreements should be reconsidered.

07/07/2026: Plenty of outdoor space where children can run around and play safely. There are also many animals, including ponies that are occasionally let loose, which the children love. Now there's even a little donkey! The food is always good, whether it's meat, fish, or pizza.

They brought me a pizza without some of the additions I'd asked for, and he immediately had me remake it, even though I'd told him it was fine the way it was. I'd also read reviews about the service that said the waiters were rude... I guess I was right. Finally, the atmosphere: with the heat that's raging in Rome these days, finding a spot outside surrounded by greenery is like finding an oasis. There are even horses and other animals for the little ones to see, and not just the kids. Finally, in case you were wondering, no, I'm not a member of the staff or an acquaintance of the restaurant; you can tell from the many reviews I've already written. And to think, I was biased after reading other reviews, but since I was in a group, I adjusted... I was pleasantly surprised!

14/06/2026: I'll start by saying that lately I've tended to prefer ice cream shops with deep containers: for better preservation of the ice cream and everything else. I have to make a couple of observations: the containers were really poorly kept clean and the cup I got (€4) was truly "cup-thin", very small. That said, it was one of the best ice creams I've ever eaten, and that's very difficult. You can tell it's artisanal: I had tiramisu, lemon custard, and melon. All lightly sweetened and didn't make you thirsty afterwards💪🏻, the melon was so good it felt like you could bite into it, and the custard really felt like you were eating custard by the spoonful. So, aside from a few things to keep in mind, in my opinion, I'll gladly go back to try the other flavors.

23/06/2026: Last week my boyfriend and I went to dinner at this restaurant, on the recommendation of my parents who had been there three years ago (alas, things have changed a lot since then). I understand that the prices are a little higher than other restaurants because the sea view is beautiful and you pay for it but at least I expect to eat decently if I pay 18 euros for a dish. I give two stars for the simple fact that the pizza was good but in our opinion only that unfortunately. The spaghetti with clams had lots of clams but was tasteless, although this is not the worst part. There was sand and the pasta was inedible because I believe that simple things are sometimes the best. There is no need to add butter or anything else to make an excellent spaghetti with clams. For an appetizer we had fried calamari that were not calamari. My boyfriend is a fishmonger so he immediately recognized the defrosted squid rings, giant to add volume and super chewy (18 €). Given the competition of the place regarding fish, I did not expect to eat something like this since just the day before I had eaten an excellent one by the sea nearby. We also had a supplì, which was very well-fried, but unfortunately the mozzarella wasn't stringy. For another appetizer, we had a trio of fish balls, served immediately after ordering and reheated. They weren't crunchy, but the accompanying sauce was good. If I'm writing this review, even though we're not used to writing negative ones, it's for the spaghetti. Otherwise, I wouldn't have said anything. Mistakes can happen in the kitchen, but when it comes to the bill, you have to be good at fixing them and making customers want to return and give the place another chance. The waitress (or owner) realized something was wrong because I left ALL the pasta (and ate some clams, since I only had a bit of pizza and an appetizer that didn't satisfy me). I was honest, not specifying that the pasta wasn't the only problem, and she said, "Should I remake it for you? At least get some fried food so you can eat something." I refused because it's one thing to remake pasta if it's salty, and another to remake it when you're not capable. I expected at least a discount on the bill (the minimum was three euros to even out the bill), but instead they charged me the full price of the spaghetti as well... if I had remade the spaghetti, would they have charged me two? €73 (€40 for a totally unsatisfying dinner). I'm sorry because we came as a test to celebrate a birthday, but we won't be back... we don't want to make a fool of ourselves.
