18/06/2025: Such a lovely little bar with cozy vibes and a relaxed atmosphere — the kind of place you can easily lose track of time in. The staff were super friendly and welcoming, which made the experience even better. Perfect spot for a casual drink, great conversation, and just enjoying the moment. Would absolutely come back!

01/07/2025: Situation bordering on the unbelievable: before a tasting, we decide to eat something simple. A classic pizzeria and a pizza by the slice; the second is better, we think, we go in and everything seems ok. 1 calzone, mortadella, pistachios and burrata, stuck there for at least a couple of hours, a triangle of pizza with broccoli and a slice with spicy salami: 17.30 euros. I forgot: also a 33cl cold Coke. The vintage justified the final price. Avoid like the plague, maybe go in front, it has a real round smell and the prices are more or less the same. At least you sit down.

04/06/2025: Pizzeria al taglio e non solo portata avanti con passione. Pizze -anzi pinse- fragranti e digeribili con farciture e condimenti interessanti e succulenti e anche un menù di primi e piatti originali per pranzo, molto vario e che in parte cambia tutti i giorni. Ottima soluzione per un pranzo veloce. Qualche posto a sedere "al volo" ma non comodissimo.

15/07/2025: Gluten-free pizza made by the owner, so it's excellent, handmade, Neapolitan style. Fresh salads. Giant rolls made with pizza dough. Everything is excellent! Even the gluten-free puddles are excellent. PETS ALLOWED.

07/06/2025: We ordered two espresso tonic, they gave us 2 espresso, 2 tonics and 2 glasses with ice. When we wanted to paid, they charged us 24 euros, because it was cocktail in their eyes…cocktail that we have to make ourselves. We asked how much is espresso (1.2 €). I think the place was lovely but now I don’t want to come back, I feel cheated.

03/08/2025: Very bad. I ordered grilled fish and seafood. They brought me a white fish fillet that was almost burnt and tiny. The shrimp tasted awful. We also ordered pasta with guanchale. It was so salty it was inedible.

06/07/2025: We stumbled upon it by chance for the first time months ago and I ate the tagliatelle with chestnuts and asparagus very well and the wild boar for the second course. I added the dessert because it was the zuppa inglese which is rare to find. I didn't write a review because one swallow doesn't make a summer and I promised myself I would return to see my first impressions confirmed or denied. What can I say: excellent, I ate the fettuccine alla bandiera (pachino and asparagus) simply superlative and the pork loin with plums and apples truly exceptional. For the dessert I confirmed the zuppa inglese which is how my grandmother used to make it. The scomposta with berries (or Nutella) is also really good. I will definitely return and recommend it to everyone.

06/07/2025: We return to eat at l'Asprese every time we pass by these parts. The welcome is familiar and the dishes are tasty and quality. Honest prices. For us a point of reference in the Rieti area!

06/07/2025: I ordered pizza with my boyfriend stracciatella and raw ham...the stracciatella wasn't stracciatella or worse if it was, it was spoiled...very sour! Arancino amatriciana gone bad, tasted rotten! The girl on the phone was rude as hell...I don't recommend her for anything in the world, 30 euros wasted and I was left without lunch, because the food was inedible! NEVER AGAIN

05/07/2025: The food is excellent quality and truly unbeatable in terms of taste and quantity. It's a shame about the staff, especially one of the girls at the counter who I always have to deal with at lunchtime. Every single time I came to buy lunch, I felt deeply uncomfortable with the way she interacts with customers: dirty looks, snorts, swear words and even swearing. She serves the food in trays with contempt and if unfortunately I don't hear her when she asks a question (which is certainly not unusual since she only speaks in whispers and mutters) she blurts out as if I were bothering her. I repeat, I'm very sorry because the place is very good and the food is truly amazing, it's a shame that because of this treatment many customers are discouraged from coming back. I hope you can solve it. <3

12/07/2025: We chose the fixed-price fish menu. Everything was very good. The place was welcoming; we dined outside. I recommend it. Good prices.

10/07/2025: A disastrous experience. The sautéed mussels were embarrassing: dirty shells and no flavor. Zero flavor. An unworthy dish! The fried fish? An insult to seafood. Rubbery fish, clearly poorly defrosted, and a burnt, bitter breading that covered everything. Serving such a dish in a restaurant that calls itself "seafood" is unacceptable. Serving such dishes is a disrespect to the customer. Avoid this place without hesitation.

03/07/2025: Fantastic evening….I just left the Firriato tasting and I have to say that the guys were really good…the pairings were spot on….and the guys at Firriato were very nice in entertaining us between courses. We will be back

02/07/2025: Un’esperienza di mare indimenticabile! Sono stato in questo ristorante per una cena speciale e posso dire senza esitazioni che è stato tutto perfetto. Il pesce è freschissimo, cucinato con maestria e presentato con grande cura. Abbiamo iniziato con un antipasto di crudi semplicemente eccellente: ostriche, tartare e gamberi che si scioglievano in bocca. Come primo abbiamo scelto i paccheri allo scoglio — saporiti, abbondanti e con un profumo di mare autentico. Il secondo, una grigliata mista di pesce, era cotto alla perfezione, accompagnato da verdure fresche e ben condite. Servizio impeccabile: personale cortese, attento e molto preparato nel consigliare abbinamenti e vini. Consigliatissimo per chi cerca qualità, atmosfera e sapori autentici del mare. Torneremo sicuramente!

01/08/2025: Pranzo oggi in questo storico locale di gaeta vecchia. Due primi uno vongole e l altro gamberoni buonissimi segue una frittura di calamari ed una frittura di alici con insalata buon vino ed acqua. Grazie siete sempre una garanzia!
