24/02/2026: Very nice place, terrible culinary experience. Pasta with "shrimp"—literally three shrimp—dry, overcooked, and chock-full of pepper. Second course: grilled octopus tentacle with creamed potato. The octopus portion was tiny, and instead of the creamed potato, they served mashed boiled potatoes and bagged salad. A total disappointment. Don't trust the photos online; the dishes in reality are completely different. At some tables, they sent back items; unfortunately, we mistakenly didn't ask for one, out of embarrassment. Excessive prices.

12/04/2026: A REAL DISCOVERY! A welcoming place, with a pleasant and refined atmosphere. The food is truly exquisite; you can taste the quality of the fish and the care taken in preparing the dishes. Special thanks to the owner, Marcello, a truly kind and helpful man who knows how to make guests feel at home. The staff was also impeccable: friendly, courteous, and always attentive. If you're in Ostia, you absolutely must eat here... you won't regret it!

05/04/2026: We ate at this restaurant for Easter lunch. It's a very welcoming place with a lovely open kitchen. The menu was varied and the dishes were really good, all at a more than reasonable fixed price. The service was also excellent and very warm. 🥰 Thank you!

02/04/2026: Nonexistent service and an incredibly rude owner A terrible experience. At 11:00 PM, after an hour and a half of waiting, the pizzas still hadn't arrived. Despite having asked for updates 40 minutes earlier and being reassured that we were "next," we continued to see only takeout pizzas. The worst part was the owner's reaction when we decided to leave: he tried to blame us for arriving at 9:30 PM instead of 9:00 PM. A pointless excuse, given that the place was already full and the kitchen was clearly backed up. The worst moment came when, with rare arrogance, he asked what we did for a living and dared to respond with a "shut up!" to a woman at our table. Disgraceful and totally unprofessional behavior. If you want to be treated with respect, go to another pizzeria.

17/02/2026: I'm traveling for work and stayed one night, but unfortunately, I was very disappointed with the cleanliness. The walls were covered in all kinds of spills and stains, both in the room and on the stairwell. The carpet was completely stained and needs to be thrown out. What really bothered me was the burned ashtray in the bathroom and the smell of smoke in the room. For non-smokers, it's a disaster! I don't think the shower had been cleaned recently. I'm sorry, but I won't be staying at this hotel again, even though the location is ideal.

22/04/2026: If I could give 0 stars, I would. April 17, 2026, afternoon. The entrance has a huge sign saying, "WE ARE THE ONLY BATHROOM IN VILLA PAMPHILI." Once I entered, the woman at the counter glared at me and rudely yelled that the place was closed. When I asked to use the bathroom only because I was pregnant, the woman kept repeating, without even letting me speak, rudely and arrogantly, that the place was closed and that I had to leave. I kept repeating that I had an emergency, but nothing happened; she made me leave. Luckily, about ten minutes later, I discovered that there was a place with bathrooms, which were also very clean. I wondered if this woman had any common sense, humanity, and empathy when she responded that way. What would she have done if an elderly person or a disabled person had been in my place?! I can justify not letting customers go to the bathroom when the place is closed, if there are orders from above (and this should also be verified) but even in this case common sense and above all politeness should be preferred, because things can also be said kindly and perhaps suggesting that a little further on there would be another bathroom.

12/04/2026: We happily stumbled upon this restaurant by chance, strolling along the seafront in search of some peace and quiet from the chaos of the noisy bars. It was a wonderful evening, the staff were friendly and professional, the food delicious, and the menu truly excellent (a few dishes, with carefully selected ingredients and explosive flavors). The Paella Gaetana is a must-try, unforgettable!!!! Thank you 💕

27/02/2026: Scandalous! €8 for a plate of “seasonal vegetables” consisting of a few slices of grilled eggplant, some iceberg lettuce, and three cherry tomatoes cut in half… As for the main dish, it looked like a school cafeteria meal from when I was a kid. The tielles were extremely greasy and very expensive for the quantity. Skip this place — it may look nice, but don’t stop there. It’s literally cafeteria food; they’re taking us for fools. In the end, the restaurant’s name is fitting — but not when it comes to the prices. It’s very expensive for both the quantity and quality!

09/05/2026: The worst restaurant I’ve been to in Rome: the food was awful! My pasta was completely undercooked, so I politely sent it back, but they just reheated it, instead of cooking a new batch. The stufato was rancid and cut thinly as if to disguise in the brown sauce: I couldn’t eat it. No music, no atmosphere, most of the staff could hardly speak Italian. Avoid!

13/04/2026: I'm vegan, so that's a real challenge. Despite this, I'm more than satisfied. I ordered a Vegetariana without mozzarella, and boy... What a pizza! Lovely, tasty, beautiful looking. Truly well thought out and thoughtful, you can tell you care. One of the best pizzas I've ever had. Plus, a lovely little square, and service that's a little cold but more than efficient. In short, the perfect place for a lovely evening. Kudos to all the staff, highly recommended!
