28/07/2026: A good place for seafood lovers; you can try everything here. The pizza was tasty, but not the best and lacking any wow factor. The prices are affordable: pizzas range from €8-€12, while seafood dishes are more expensive at €15+. The service is good, but you won't be greeted with a smile if you come in; they'll just wait on you. Service costs €2. I recommend this place for seafood. Regarding dessert, we ordered teramisu, but it was frozen (not ice cream). I wouldn't recommend it for dessert.

21/07/2026: The best restaurant in the area!!!!! The food is amazing; it's like a dream, the seafood and pizza are amazing!!!! And the mussels were the sensation of the evening! 23/06/2026: Last week my boyfriend and I went to dinner at this restaurant, on the recommendation of my parents who had been there three years ago (alas, things have changed a lot since then). I understand that the prices are a little higher than other restaurants because the sea view is beautiful and you pay for it but at least I expect to eat decently if I pay 18 euros for a dish. I give two stars for the simple fact that the pizza was good but in our opinion only that unfortunately. The spaghetti with clams had lots of clams but was tasteless, although this is not the worst part. There was sand and the pasta was inedible because I believe that simple things are sometimes the best. There is no need to add butter or anything else to make an excellent spaghetti with clams. For an appetizer we had fried calamari that were not calamari. My boyfriend is a fishmonger so he immediately recognized the defrosted squid rings, giant to add volume and super chewy (18 €). Given the competition of the place regarding fish, I did not expect to eat something like this since just the day before I had eaten an excellent one by the sea nearby. We also had a supplì, which was very well-fried, but unfortunately the mozzarella wasn't stringy. For another appetizer, we had a trio of fish balls, served immediately after ordering and reheated. They weren't crunchy, but the accompanying sauce was good. If I'm writing this review, even though we're not used to writing negative ones, it's for the spaghetti. Otherwise, I wouldn't have said anything. Mistakes can happen in the kitchen, but when it comes to the bill, you have to be good at fixing them and making customers want to return and give the place another chance. The waitress (or owner) realized something was wrong because I left ALL the pasta (and ate some clams, since I only had a bit of pizza and an appetizer that didn't satisfy me). I was honest, not specifying that the pasta wasn't the only problem, and she said, "Should I remake it for you? At least get some fried food so you can eat something." I refused because it's one thing to remake pasta if it's salty, and another to remake it when you're not capable. I expected at least a discount on the bill (the minimum was three euros to even out the bill), but instead they charged me the full price of the spaghetti as well... if I had remade the spaghetti, would they have charged me two? €73 (€40 for a totally unsatisfying dinner). I'm sorry because we came as a test to celebrate a birthday, but we won't be back... we don't want to make a fool of ourselves.

The organization was one of its strengths: everything ran smoothly, and Emanuele demonstrated great expertise and passion, managing to coordinate every detail with precision and style. The event itself was a true success: a select audience, a positive atmosphere, and an energy that grew throughout the evening until it transformed into pure enthusiasm. The music was simply exceptional, engaging, capable of getting everyone dancing without ever being predictable. The DJ set maintained the highest level throughout. An evening that wasn't just an event, but an experience. Congratulations to Emanuele for creating something so special. I can't wait for the next one! ♥️

09/02/2026: I'm delighted that the company is hosting ALTEREGO, an evening I've been attending for years and which found a splendid and fitting setting here. I was there on Saturday with friends to celebrate a birthday. We took advantage of the dinner + disco option (a rare package for a Roman evening) and no one was disappointed. The dinner, besides being objectively delicious, was very well-curated and enlivened by some INCREDIBLE entertainment. Credit goes to the organization, which, present in the room, takes care of every technical aspect of the event, without ever neglecting the attention or kindness of the guests. The disco portion, which starts around 11:00 PM, offered us an unusual music selection; every single track was remixed by the DJ and not played on streaming platforms. I will definitely be back at the next event. Go guys!!

05/08/2026: I've been a customer at Trattoria Il Grottino for almost 20 years now, and I can assure you that I've always had good food. The food is excellent, and the service is courteous and attentive. The experience and friendliness of Marina and Federico, the restaurant's owners, complete the overall image of the establishment. The restaurant definitely deserves an excellent rating.

02/08/2026: We loved this traditional trattoria for its amazing fresh seafood, atmosphere and setting in the centro storico. The owners said it has been in their family for 3 generations and it seems like a well loved local. We booked ahead and our family were seated promptly but there were people queuing later on in the evening.

22/05/2026: There's nothing to complain about. A place that, even from the outside, presents itself impeccably. Meticulously decorated, with soothing colors and a harmonious décor. The staff is impeccable, very helpful, but especially calm, kind, and, above all, polite and knowledgeable. Last but not least, the dishes are exceptional; they're not afraid to explore both land and sea, and the ingredients are treated with absolute care. The focus is on delicate, elegant flavors that caress the palate with absolute class. The wine selection is sensational. A wide selection, capable of satisfying everyone. Absolutely one of the best places I've ever eaten.

03/07/2025: Abbiamo scoperto questo locale su consiglio di amici. Premesso che dopo il caldo di Roma il fatto che si riuscisse a respirare era sufficiente a dare una super valutazione, ma il ristorante merita molto di più. Innanzitutto é presente anche il menu per chi é intollerante al lattosio o per chi é celiaco, mettono delle graziose bandierine per distinguere le portate senza lattosio o per celiaci al fine di evitare che una volta a tavola si possa far confusione. Siamo stati serviti da Valentino, unico nella sua professionalità ed estremamente gentile e disponibile, ha ispirato a tutti una immediata simpatia, qualità molto rare, abbiamo preso dei deliziosi supplì della casa, consigliati sempre da Valentino e da provare assolutamente, la pizza, anche qui provate quella della casa (pizza vecchia locanda) , e poi i dolci, fatti da loro! Una creme brûlé al pistacchio con pezzettini di cioccolato fondente, mitica, idem il tiramisù, se a tutto questo si aggiunge assenza di rumori della città e prezzi onestissimi, sicuramente torneremo per provare le altre pietanze !

27/06/2025: Ho contattato il ristorante tramite Just Eat ed ho pagato due volte quanto ordinato. Ho contattato il ristorante per il rimborso ed il proprietario è stato molto gentile e disponibile; onesto al punto da dire "non voglio sapere nemmeno cosa è successo, le renderò la cifra spesa". Quanto ordinato era molto buono quindi oltre alla massima disponibilità ed onestà, ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Assolutamente consigliato!

12/03/2026: The place is really cute and cozy, located just steps from the Colosseum, making it perfect for a break during a sightseeing tour. I ordered a classic supplì and a carbonara one, both very good and well-fried. For dessert, I chose the tiramisu, which turned out to be truly excellent. Unfortunately, the pasta was a complete FAIL. When it was served, I immediately expressed my discomfort, asking if it was really the right dish. Unfortunately, it was, so I politely asked to take away the dish, which was practically "untouched." The pasta was overcooked, and the guanciale was cooked directly in the sauce, giving it a flavor similar to stewed meat. Furthermore, the tomato sauce was very runny, whereas one would expect a thick, full-bodied consistency. What's called "amatriciana" here simply can't be called that; they should rename it "pasta with sauce and guanciale." Truly, very unpleasant to the palate. Finally, when it came to the bill, there was no discount, as I expected, and at least a "sorry" from the staff would have been appropriate. In short, I will NEVER go back!
