07/07/2026: Plenty of outdoor space where children can run around and play safely. There are also many animals, including ponies that are occasionally let loose, which the children love. Now there's even a little donkey! The food is always good, whether it's meat, fish, or pizza.

02/07/2026: We ordered pizza, and despite some reviews I'd read, it was actually very good: thin and crispy, just the way I like it. The service was good, the waiter was friendly and polite. They brought me a pizza without some of the additions I'd asked for, and he immediately had me remake it, even though I'd told him it was fine the way it was. I'd also read reviews about the service that said the waiters were rude... I guess I was right. Finally, the atmosphere: with the heat that's raging in Rome these days, finding a spot outside surrounded by greenery is like finding an oasis. There are even horses and other animals for the little ones to see, and not just the kids. Finally, in case you were wondering, no, I'm not a member of the staff or an acquaintance of the restaurant; you can tell from the many reviews I've already written. And to think, I was biased after reading other reviews, but since I was in a group, I adjusted... I was pleasantly surprised!

28/07/2026: A good place for seafood lovers; you can try everything here. The pizza was tasty, but not the best and lacking any wow factor. The prices are affordable: pizzas range from €8-€12, while seafood dishes are more expensive at €15+. The service is good, but you won't be greeted with a smile if you come in; they'll just wait on you. Service costs €2. I recommend this place for seafood. Regarding dessert, we ordered teramisu, but it was frozen (not ice cream). I wouldn't recommend it for dessert.

21/07/2026: The best restaurant in the area!!!!! The food is amazing; it's like a dream, the seafood and pizza are amazing!!!! And the mussels were the sensation of the evening! As for the owner of the place, I can only say this, a great MAN!!!! Thank you very much for a true Italian culinary evening! ❤️❤️❤️

18/05/2026: I went to the beach. A sun lounger was 8 euros, an umbrella 10. It was fine. The beach was dirty, with a lot of trash on the shore. I went into the water, and the first 20 meters were covered in sharp rocks and strange objects. Swimming was definitely not recommended. They didn't let us choose a spot; we were told where to settle ourselves.

The service was attentive and precise, yet informal and friendly. The owner was particularly friendly and welcoming, helping to create an even more pleasant atmosphere. The food was excellent, with high-quality ingredients and well-crafted dishes. Highly recommended!

27/04/2026: Family-run. The unique dining room and furnishings add something special. The service was friendly and attentive, even accommodating small special requests without any problem. The products are good, in line with expectations, and the bill is fair for what's on offer. Worth a try.

12/03/2026: The place is really cute and cozy, located just steps from the Colosseum, making it perfect for a break during a sightseeing tour. I ordered a classic supplì and a carbonara one, both very good and well-fried. For dessert, I chose the tiramisu, which turned out to be truly excellent. Unfortunately, the pasta was a complete FAIL. When it was served, I immediately expressed my discomfort, asking if it was really the right dish. Unfortunately, it was, so I politely asked to take away the dish, which was practically "untouched." The pasta was overcooked, and the guanciale was cooked directly in the sauce, giving it a flavor similar to stewed meat. Furthermore, the tomato sauce was very runny, whereas one would expect a thick, full-bodied consistency. What's called "amatriciana" here simply can't be called that; they should rename it "pasta with sauce and guanciale." Truly, very unpleasant to the palate. Finally, when it came to the bill, there was no discount, as I expected, and at least a "sorry" from the staff would have been appropriate. In short, I will NEVER go back!

03/07/2025: Abbiamo scoperto questo locale su consiglio di amici. Premesso che dopo il caldo di Roma il fatto che si riuscisse a respirare era sufficiente a dare una super valutazione, ma il ristorante merita molto di più. Innanzitutto é presente anche il menu per chi é intollerante al lattosio o per chi é celiaco, mettono delle graziose bandierine per distinguere le portate senza lattosio o per celiaci al fine di evitare che una volta a tavola si possa far confusione. Siamo stati serviti da Valentino, unico nella sua professionalità ed estremamente gentile e disponibile, ha ispirato a tutti una immediata simpatia, qualità molto rare, abbiamo preso dei deliziosi supplì della casa, consigliati sempre da Valentino e da provare assolutamente, la pizza, anche qui provate quella della casa (pizza vecchia locanda) , e poi i dolci, fatti da loro! Una creme brûlé al pistacchio con pezzettini di cioccolato fondente, mitica, idem il tiramisù, se a tutto questo si aggiunge assenza di rumori della città e prezzi onestissimi, sicuramente torneremo per provare le altre pietanze !

27/06/2025: Ho contattato il ristorante tramite Just Eat ed ho pagato due volte quanto ordinato. Ho contattato il ristorante per il rimborso ed il proprietario è stato molto gentile e disponibile; onesto al punto da dire "non voglio sapere nemmeno cosa è successo, le renderò la cifra spesa". Quanto ordinato era molto buono quindi oltre alla massima disponibilità ed onestà, ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Assolutamente consigliato!

11/06/2026: Nowadays it is so hard to find a truly authentic, quiet and really so tasteful restaurant in Rome’s historical center. Evangelista is just that and all that. Everything we had was so delicious, beautifully prepared and served. Unfussy, just classy old school Italian historical establishment.

With professionalism, refined taste, and elegance, the owner guided us through the selection of highly refined dishes made with the highest-quality ingredients. The artichokes baked in a brick oven and the vignarola (a kind of tomato sauce) are particularly noteworthy...and everything else, right down to the extraordinary desserts! Bravo!

14/06/2026: I celebrated my 50th wedding anniversary and my husband's 80th on June 6th. Excellent food, very kind and fast waiters, delightful atmosphere, and the owners are wonderful people who are very responsive to any requests.
