08/08/2025: Fantastic service. Delicious food. Great wine recommendations! The only downside is that we filled up too much on the baby zucchini blossoms stuffed with cacio e Pepe, multiple pastas and the sliced beef with roasted eggplant to partake of the desserts. Highly recommend!

24/08/2025: A historic restaurant in old Gaeta, tucked away in a small internal square. Exquisite food and local ingredients. Their signature dish, the calamari, is a must-try. Also try the sautéed truffles and the octopus alla Luciana. The waiter Franco is an institution, courteous and professional. The prices are fair, the tables are beautifully set and have tablecloths. The trattoria has been there since 1920... and it will stay that way because it's one of the best restaurants in Gaeta. It's not a tourist spot; it's for locals who love good food.

04/05/2025: Siamo di casa, e in questa occasione siamo venuti con amici Olandesi, che dopo aver sentito le nostre osservazioni ci hanno chiesto di conoscerlo. Sono rimasti entusiasti del luogo e del pranzo, a base di pietanze ricercate con i tartufi del posto. Come sempre Marta ha curato gli ospiti con le spiegazioni sugli ingredienti e gli abbinamenti con i vini della regione. Sicuramente i nostri amici ritorneranno a breve con i loro familiari.

01/08/2025: I've tried other places in Sabine, but to be SURE you're eating well, you have to go to Asprese. A simple porcini mushroom appetizer sautéed with their own extra virgin olive oil, fettuccine with chestnut flour and asparagus, escalope with porcini mushrooms, Sabine-style chicken, sautéed chicory, grilled vegetables, and, to finish, a crème brulee: EVERYTHING, TRULY, HOMEMADE. 30/08/2025: I'll start by saying that I was going to write a very long review and they deleted it, in short, amatriciana with hair and ants, chicken cooked with pus juice and hairy parmesan, I'd rather eat ants from the cutlery than the matriciana, the only good things were frozen chips and bread, I went there with school and I ate a chip, plus there was the whole Noah's Ark watching me while I ate, "ate" is a big word, I threw most of the pasta behind the piano so that the guards of the Roman Empire wouldn't discover me, Noah's Ark in the big 2025🙏🏻🥀

03/07/2025: Abbiamo scoperto questo locale su consiglio di amici. Premesso che dopo il caldo di Roma il fatto che si riuscisse a respirare era sufficiente a dare una super valutazione, ma il ristorante merita molto di più. Innanzitutto é presente anche il menu per chi é intollerante al lattosio o per chi é celiaco, mettono delle graziose bandierine per distinguere le portate senza lattosio o per celiaci al fine di evitare che una volta a tavola si possa far confusione. Siamo stati serviti da Valentino, unico nella sua professionalità ed estremamente gentile e disponibile, ha ispirato a tutti una immediata simpatia, qualità molto rare, abbiamo preso dei deliziosi supplì della casa, consigliati sempre da Valentino e da provare assolutamente, la pizza, anche qui provate quella della casa (pizza vecchia locanda) , e poi i dolci, fatti da loro! Una creme brûlé al pistacchio con pezzettini di cioccolato fondente, mitica, idem il tiramisù, se a tutto questo si aggiunge assenza di rumori della città e prezzi onestissimi, sicuramente torneremo per provare le altre pietanze !

27/06/2025: Ho contattato il ristorante tramite Just Eat ed ho pagato due volte quanto ordinato. Ho contattato il ristorante per il rimborso ed il proprietario è stato molto gentile e disponibile; onesto al punto da dire "non voglio sapere nemmeno cosa è successo, le renderò la cifra spesa". Quanto ordinato era molto buono quindi oltre alla massima disponibilità ed onestà, ottimo rapporto qualità/prezzo. Assolutamente consigliato!

21/07/2025: Great location, the waitress was very nice and helpful. The Aperol Spritz was too sweet, but I poured two glasses of prosecco and it was drinkable ;)

18/07/2025: Reasonable prices, amazing view on the water, and absolutely delicious food. But most of all fantastic service! The waiter was an absolute gem who took great care of us, and the entire staff was extremely attentive without being the least bit overbearing. Highly recommend!!!

02/08/2025: Prima volta in questo bellissimo ristorante, il giardino è curato e fa stare bene, quindi promosso. La proprietaria preparata, decisa e simpatica, il cibo ottimo, si segue rigorosamente la regola del pesce fresco e della qualità. Servizio discreto, tutti gentili anche se un po’ impacciati, però nulla da ridire. Continuate così!

19/07/2025: Excellent seafood dinner. Cod and catch of the day accompanied by mixed vegetables. I also tried an excellent fritto misto and a delicious risotto. I have to say, it's definitely worth it.

05/09/2025: I went for lunch with a friend a couple of times during my stay in Rome. The food was divine, the lady at the cash register was delightful, the place was beautiful, spotlessly clean, and the wait staff were extremely kind. The only downside was that I went back in August and unfortunately it was closed for vacation, so I had to opt for another place. It's a shame... but when I return to Rome, I'll definitely be back to eat the fabulous zucchini flowers, artichokes, etc., which I highly recommend.

04/09/2025: Last night, 10 of us went to this restaurant, and unfortunately, it was a truly disappointing experience. We chose it because we've always had good experiences there in the past, but this time the quality was terrible. We ordered mixed fried fish to share: clearly frozen and reheated, with a truly unpleasant frozen flavor. Next, we each ordered steaks or fillets: tough, full of sinew and fat, practically inedible. The side dishes we requested never arrived, despite repeated reminders. The service was slow and inattentive, and the rudeness of the staff further degraded the evening. Added to all this, the prices were decidedly disproportionate to the quality of the food and service received. A real shame, because we were regulars. After this experience, we'll hardly return.
