We went to eat there this afternoon and ordered pasta carbonara. Honestly, it's a small bistro that has nothing special but despite all the pasta carbonaras I've eaten in my life, this was certainly among the best! The Guanciale was perfectly cooked, the pasta fresh and the portion just right (contrary to the comment from 5 years ago saying that it is only suitable for a 45kg woman. I am a good eater myself and it is amply sufficient and logical as a portion). Delicious, I recommend.

Small, simple and essential place, welcoming like at home.
Spectacular gricia with artichokes and cheese and pepper, all the flavors stood out and I also made the slipper.
Phenomenal ricotta and sour cherry tart, still warm, delicious tiramisu to which the lady added strawberries for my daughter.
3 generations at work, friendly, fast, the chat with the owners was priceless.
Stumbled upon it by chance, it left us with a really nice taste of Rome. ❤️

Good food, but unfortunately the service (in our case, a couple) leaves a little to be desired, the waiter a little stupid...
Waiter taking orders from the tables next door (which arrived later) and ignored us.
To take orders I had to make my presence known by standing up.
Same thing with the bread, served at the next tables even before the dishes arrived, for us I had to ask for it...
To pay I go to the cashier, the same waiter always tells me what to do first if he comes to the table, ok I'll sit down, he finishes his things and starts minding his own business.
I get up and finally manage to pay at the counter thanks to another smarter waiter. We're not quite there.
Too bad you were the reference, from Vicenza.

Capitati per caso in questa via, dopo una mattina di intesen camminate, siamo stati rapiti dalla bellezza del locale, dai piatti bellissimi che uscivano dalla cucina e dai proprietari (padre e figlio) di una gentilezza non cosi comune.
Nonostante fosse pieno e non avessimo prenotato, il figlio ci ha trovato comunque un tavolo e la nostra bambina si è sentita subito a casa.
Il cibo è stato davvero buono: dall’antipasto misto di formaggi e salumi, alla gricia deliziosa, agli ottimi saltimbocca fino ad arrivare alla crostata ricotta e cioccolato che ci siamo litigati per quanto era buona!!!
Sicuramente un posto da ricordare e tenere tra quelli in cui andare ogni volta che si passa per Roma.

Locale carino, personale gentile, buona posizione. Primi romani buoni e prezzi in linea con la zona. Crostata di visciole e ricotta ottima.
