18/06/2025: I go to Meloncini with my family every time we are in Rome—it's a tradition by now. There is no place like it: welcoming, sincere, Roman to the core. The supplì? I would eat ten of them without thinking twice. Crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside… pure perfection. But everything, from the first to the last dish, is prepared with that homely touch that makes you feel pampered. A restaurant that never disappoints. In fact, it gets better every time.

20/05/2025: Ho aspettato due giorni prima di scrivere questa recensione, per non lasciarmi condizionare dalle emozioni del momento. Ma andiamo con ordine. Ho prenotato in questo ristorante fuori porta tramite The Fork, senza conoscere Fara in Sabina. Il paese si è rivelato una bellissima scoperta: molto carino, invita a passeggiare e godersi l’atmosfera. Il ristorante è delizioso, curato e con un tocco davvero particolare. Il servizio è stato complessivamente buono: qualcosa è sfuggito, ma può succedere. I piatti sono particolari e ben presentati, con ingredienti di qualità che si percepiscono chiaramente. In alcuni casi forse un po’ troppo speziati, come ho letto anche in altre recensioni, ma nel complesso direi tra il buono e l’ottimo (questioni di gusto, ovviamente). Quando ho chiesto il conto, mi è stato chiesto di recarmi direttamente in cassa, dove mi è stato subito emesso lo scontrino, senza che mi venisse mostrato o riepilogato prima. In quel momento avrei potuto far presente che avevo prenotato con uno sconto tramite The Fork, ma non ci ho pensato, perché nelle esperienze precedenti lo sconto era sempre stato applicato automaticamente. È a questo punto che, purtroppo, succede qualcosa che rovina completamente l’esperienza. La persona alla cassa — forse lo chef, ma non ne sono certo — reagisce in modo del tutto fuori luogo. Evito di riportare le parole esatte, ma sono state offensive e inappropriate, tanto che mia figlia di sei anni, presente con noi, ha commentato: “Ma non si dicono queste cose davanti ai bambini.” E aveva ragione. Alla fine una collega ha gestito la situazione con gentilezza e professionalità, e la ringrazio per questo. Ma il danno ormai era fatto. Sono molto dispiaciuto. Fino a quel momento l’esperienza era stata piacevole e mi sarebbe davvero piaciuto tornare. Ma dopo un episodio del genere, purtroppo, mai più. Nonostante tutto, ho cercato di assegnare un voto complessivo che tenesse conto anche degli aspetti positivi.

18/06/2025: I never write bad reviews because I don't want to harm anyone's business, but I'm writing this review to educate other guests about ethical values ​​and standards, and to reach the restaurant's owner. On June 14, 2025, my husband (in a wheelchair) and I wanted to visit Pizzeria Emma in Rome. After a stressful 40-minute journey, we were looking forward to dinner – but what awaited us there was simply disgraceful. Even at the reception desk, the lady and gentleman treated us extremely rudely and condescendingly. Although there were many free tables, we were refused a seat for no apparent reason. The only thing that stood out: my husband is wheelchair-bound. We felt openly discriminated against at that moment – ​​not just ignored, but downright excluded. We live in the 21st century, and even in a liberal country like this, we have had to realize that people are still divided into classes and excluded. Hunger and frustration forced us to order two takeaway pizzas – but these were also a disappointment: poorly topped, bland in taste, and far below what you'd expect in Rome. I absolutely don't understand why this restaurant has so many good reviews. What was particularly shocking was that while we were waiting, two elderly ladies arrived without reservations. They were also initially put off – but as soon as we left, they were seated. It seemed as if they just didn't want us at the table – presumably because of our wheelchairs. Such behavior is not only unacceptable, but also deeply disrespectful to people with disabilities. No one should have to feel treated like this on vacation or anywhere else. Our conclusion: Save yourself a visit to this restaurant if respect, inclusion, and good food are important to you. There are many other pizzerias in Rome that offer genuine hospitality – this one is definitely not one of them. Here's to a tolerant coexistence! Life is too short for exclusion, hatred, and discrimination.

02/06/2025: Abbiamo cenato qui per caso e siamo stati piacevolmente sorpresi: gli antipasti originali e con ingredienti genuini,i primi buonissimi e finalmente non si esagera con il sale,abbiamo potuto gustare tutti i sapori,ultimi i dolci buoni e rivisitati in maniera originale. Se passate da Anguillara…andate!

24/05/2025: Una parola sola: CICCIO E LA RISTOGATTA! Un luogo dove l’intimità abbraccia l’eccellenza, dove ogni dettaglio parla di accoglienza autentica e passione vera. La posizione incantevole è solo l’inizio: qui tutto ha un’anima, quella che Daniela ha saputo infondere con grazia e dedizione. Lo stile un po’ retrò, la musica di sottofondo e la passione per gli animali ti avvolgono! Il cibo? Di una bontà rara, genuina, con materie prime di altissima qualità, tutte provenienti dal territorio circostante. Ogni piatto racconta una storia, ogni momento è casa. Un’esperienza che scalda il cuore e resta nella memoria. Daniela, Ciccio e i ragazzi sono meravigliosi!

24/05/2025: Just enough time for a coffee at this establishment, super central, just a stone's throw from Piazza del Popolo. Great selection of croissants and sweets, but also savory. I noticed that the aperitifs are rich, definitely worth trying. The staff is kind and courteous. Finally, the place is modern and welcoming. Positive experience.

08/03/2025: Gestione Super, personale gentilissimo e molto professionale. Dalla colazione al Cibo e gli aperitivi sono molto buoni e ricchi.

05/06/2025: Metti un mercoledì sera a cena con tua moglie, una passeggiata tra le vie di Monteverde vecchio, un ristorante in una strada poco trafficata con tavoli all'aperto. Uno scenario perfetto per una serata tranquilla. aspetti positivi: una buona offerta di piatti di terra e di mare. Provata l'insalata di ovoli e sedano (buona ma la porzione era minima nonostante il prezzo 26€), le fettuccine ai funghi porcini (ottimi) , spaghetti vongole e bottarga (troppo piccanti ma il cameriere li ha gentilmente rifatti) e i moscardini fritti (la frittura è risultata troppo pesante). Ottimo il cestino del pane (anche se 3€ a persona mi è sembrato eccessivo). aspetti negativi: il costo delle portate è davvero eccessivo inoltre il servizio risulta lento e poco efficiente (ho dovuto chiedere 3 volte chi mi portassero dell'acqua). Nonostante il personale numeroso ho avuto l'impressione che molti non capissero l'italiano anche se sono sempre stati cortesi e disponibili. In conclusione, il locale di per sè meriterebbe ma l'eccesivo costo delle portate ed il servizio non particolarmente efficiente lo rendono indigesto.

03/06/2025: Non mi è piaciuto questo ristorante dove sono stato con dei colleghi. A parte che un ristorante di pesce che non ha le cozze è molto strano, ma poi una spigola da 1,7 kg a 145,00 Euro è un qualcosa di imbarazzante… Peraltro non mi sembrava neanche fosse pescata perché conosco il pesce pescato dato che lo compro spesso presso la mia pescheria di fiducia. Altre persone con me hanno preso la carne (qualità normale) e la pasta. I dolci, millefoglie e cream caramelle, nella norma. Diciamo che la cosa più pesante è che 520 Euro per 8 persone, avendo mangiato cose normali e non aragoste o ostriche, è veramente esagerato

02/05/2025: Natalino and Caterina, super kind and helpful owners. We had a problem and arrived at 10.30pm instead of the 9pm booking time. Even though we were the only customers at dinner, they waited for us and cooked much appreciated homemade dishes for us. Very nice place to park your camper, free but no services.

16/04/2025: We were there on the first Sunday in April, for lunch and we had a great time! The place is really nice and well looked after, Natalino and his wife are very nice, friendly, they make you feel at home from the first minute you stay with them. There are many little dogs to accompany you, eager for cuddles and games. We ate excellent homemade pasta with wild asparagus, the kids had delicious burgers with potatoes, we had mouth-watering kebabs with sautéed broccoli. The bill was honest and lots of advice on what to see and where to go in the area, thank you! We will definitely be back, also to taste something else typical, see you soon!

02/06/2025: Good morning everyone. We were a couple of Sundays ago, we ate fish, very fresh and very well-prepared dishes. We are coming back today and trying land, certain to try other dishes and flavors just as good. Location based in perfect home restaurant style. Calm tranquility hospitality and courtesy is what you will find, without neglecting the love for good food. I recommend it to lovers of the genre.

27/04/2025: Small but welcoming place, generous portions, the starter is enough for two, excellent cured meats. The shank is delicious, tasty, you don't need a knife to cut it, it's so tender. The staff were very kind and helpful, the service was very fast (even though there was only one waiter). HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!! We will definitely be back
