Salami hard as marble on the cutting board, the rest normal. We won't be returning
27/03/2024: Spontaneously ordered for take out and despite a fully booked evening, the staff and the chef were super accomodating and welcoming and made my dream come true to enjoy their infamous and delicious gnocchi con ragu and the heavenly tiramisu! Thanks again guys!!

30/03/2024: The best place in Trieste without a doubt. Quick, with great variety, delicious pizzas, gluten-free dough, fried pizza, special tiramisu with chocolate biscuit.
Professional and attentive service.
For me it's always a yes.
28/03/2024: A popular place, so make a booking. The quality is great. We got to watch them make the pizzas as we waiting for our meal.
Didn't try the gluten-free pizza, but saw one and it looked incredible. Gluten-free pasta was delicious.

The paccheri with crab busara were delicious, not to mention the beef fillet cooked to perfection, the blackberry pie was also extraordinary.
The idea of the Chef coming out of the kitchen to talk to the customers is also pleasant!

30/03/2024: We went for lunch, the lady was extremely kind and approachable.
Even the room boy who looked after us was an exquisite person.
Open kitchen, with everything in sight.
Short and decisive menu, we ate a raw appetizer, pink prawn tartare, a hand-pulled tagliolini and fried food.
Everything fresh and expertly cooked.
Specifically frying with kataifi breading and corn, uncommon to find in Italy, and homemade mayonnaise.
I highly recommend.

02/04/2024: Due to a mix-up in the booking, when we arrived the place was overbooked but they did everything they could to find us a table; Despite the crowds, the dishes arrived quite quickly. Varied and interesting menu, offers very particular dishes, well presented and tasty.
Good quality/price.

01/04/2024: Its location makes it close to the attractions of the centre, small and welcoming. Its strong point is the friendliness of the staff and the authenticity of the products. Two of us had 1 starter, 2 first courses, 2 desserts, half a liter of wine, water and 2 coffees for a total of 90 euros.

Qui troverete un gestore simpaticissimo che cucina da sé tutto quello che porta in tavola, anche la scelta degli ingredienti è attenzionata. Il sapore dei piatti ne è testimone.
I prezzi sono medio-alti ma l'esperienza vissuta all'interno del locale è unica. Addirittura spettacolo musicale dal vivo.
È raro uscire da un posto e uscire avendone conosciuto l'essenza di ciò che è proposto e chi gli sta dietro, qui succede. Tornerò
07/11/2023: I was convinced I had reviewed it but I see that it was suggested to me by Google. Mea culpa, remedy immediately: you have to go there. Ps better call to see if he has availability. Returning to the review: an experience. Stellar quality raw materials masterfully prepared by the chef. Which incidentally should be known, super bright and nice. Truly an experience. I didn't like octopus before I tasted how he makes it. Excellent prices for the quality, craftsmanship and quantity, but don't expect McDonald's!

05/04/2024: I just had the coffee, but as soon as I sat down I was attacked by a bad smell from the sofas? Flooring? The waitress left us the 50x50 tray with the two coffees on the table without placing them on the table...maybe it's the Trieste custom? I don't think so... it has certainly lost a lot of the retro charm it had.

The professionalism and kindness of the older waiter, an important touch, which made us feel pampered and at home.
The place is very nice, close to the Victory Lighthouse, although it would need renovation.
21/11/2023: Unfortunately the last time at this great location!
From January they will be at a new location further into the city.
It's a shame, the view was always a great part of the overall impression!

09/12/2023: Piatti tipici e non, ampia scelta di vini e abbinamento perfettamente azzeccato da parte del cameriere. Unica piccola pecca, motivo per non aver dato 5 stelle, il dolce: lo strudel di mele non era per niente friabile, difficile da tagliare e in parte bruciato (scaldato al microonde??). 18/02/2024: The name "Angry Diamond" probably says it all here. Never seen such unfriendly service, although we consumed a lot and were not sparing with the tip but were very generous, we were rather given the feeling that we were out of place here, a pity. Although the the prices and the ambience would make you think you were in an upmarket establishment, appearances are deceptive. There was no cloakroom, you either had to hang your coats on your chair or stow them on the bench, which made you feel like you were in a fast food restaurant. The sanitary facilities were also below average. The steak was very cold and the food in general was - in the best case - average. All in all, they try to be an upscale, exceptional restaurant, but the basics (a good standard of sanitary facilities, professionalism and friendliness) are unfortunately still missing here.
23/12/2023: Il locale è stupendo, i piatti sono altrettanto speciali! Consigliate le pietanze di carne e le specialità con il tartufo. Il titolare Francesco ed il suo personale ti fanno sentire davvero a casa!
