27/03/2024: Warmly welcomed by friendly staff in a rustic atmosphere. The stylish wood-fired oven in the entrance immediately catches the eye. The fact that the restaurant is fully booked on a Wednesday lunchtime speaks for itself. The friendly service and the top pizza with fluffy dough, together with the above-mentioned ambience, only allow for a 5 star rating. 2x tuna pizza 2x Cola 1x mousse eau chocolate with cake = 32 euros More than fair. Definitely highly recommended for us. 👍🏻

27/03/2024: Spontaneously ordered for take out and despite a fully booked evening, the staff and the chef were super accomodating and welcoming and made my dream come true to enjoy their infamous and delicious gnocchi con ragu and the heavenly tiramisu! Thanks again guys!!

04/03/2024: We simply love Paolo, his staff and place and also the region around muggia. We've been around the world to so many places but at Paolos we found a true jewel. We felt like home like we belong to this place. It's one of the most relaxing, warm-hearted, delicious and respectful places ever. You drink (wine, grappa) and eat (fruits, tomatoes) from Paolos garden. You can have dinner every evening with fresh, delicate seafood and wine as much as you can (around 50€-60€). Included breakfast is continental and coffee is good and you can have it in what time ever during the morning. It's not a hotel, it's home. The rooms are quiet simple but still very clean with good mattresses and they have AC & heater. If there's something you need, you don't like or you want, say it and you will get it. Maybe you have a good life now and staying at Paolos will make your life even better! Buy the wine and olive oil! High quality, great price. Baci to Paolo, beloved dog King and the whole team! We we'll be back soon!

30/03/2024: The best place in Trieste without a doubt. Quick, with great variety, delicious pizzas, gluten-free dough, fried pizza, special tiramisu with chocolate biscuit. Professional and attentive service. For me it's always a yes.

28/03/2024: A popular place, so make a booking. The quality is great. We got to watch them make the pizzas as we waiting for our meal. Didn't try the gluten-free pizza, but saw one and it looked incredible. Gluten-free pasta was delicious.

01/03/2024: Locale rustico ma con uno stile raffinato. Personale estremamente cordiale e disponibile. Ottimo menu di pesce e carne che varia, anche giornalmente, in base alla disponibilità giornaliera ( sinonimo di freschezza delle materie prime utilizzate ). Possibilità di avere anche primi, secondi e dolci senza glutine. Vivamente consigliato.

30/03/2024: We went for lunch, the lady was extremely kind and approachable. Even the room boy who looked after us was an exquisite person. Open kitchen, with everything in sight. Short and decisive menu, we ate a raw appetizer, pink prawn tartare, a hand-pulled tagliolini and fried food. Everything fresh and expertly cooked. Specifically frying with kataifi breading and corn, uncommon to find in Italy, and homemade mayonnaise. I highly recommend.

02/04/2024: Due to a mix-up in the booking, when we arrived the place was overbooked but they did everything they could to find us a table; Despite the crowds, the dishes arrived quite quickly. Varied and interesting menu, offers very particular dishes, well presented and tasty. Good quality/price. Advised!

Two of us had 1 starter, 2 first courses, 2 desserts, half a liter of wine, water and 2 coffees for a total of 90 euros.

Qui troverete un gestore simpaticissimo che cucina da sé tutto quello che porta in tavola, anche la scelta degli ingredienti è attenzionata. Il sapore dei piatti ne è testimone. I prezzi sono medio-alti ma l'esperienza vissuta all'interno del locale è unica. Addirittura spettacolo musicale dal vivo. 05/04/2024: I just had the coffee, but as soon as I sat down I was attacked by a bad smell from the sofas? Flooring? The waitress left us the 50x50 tray with the two coffees on the table without placing them on the table...maybe it's the Trieste custom? I don't think so... it has certainly lost a lot of the retro charm it had.
