09/05/2026: Excellent pizzas, except for the gluten-free and vegan ones, which are a bit sparse and a bit "thrown up"... Very nice place. I recommend it, but not for celiacs or those with other dietary issues, at least for now...

29/04/2026: In the Ponterosso area (Borgo Teresiano), an excellent pizzeria that also serves local dishes. Seating is available outdoors, under the awning, and indoors. Professional and attentive staff. Excellent pizza.

20/04/2026: On Saturday evening, we had a truly fantastic evening in a comfortable, family-friendly atmosphere! The owners are both professional and very friendly! The fish ljublianka is highly recommended, and the tiramisu is a true delight... If you're in Trieste, you absolutely must stop by.

18/04/2026: The food was poor considering the 88 euro bill. The restroom was also awful. Overall, not worth recommending.

03/05/2026: We had lunch here on a Sunday, having reserved the day before. When we arrived, we were seated in just a few minutes, and the service was courteous and attentive throughout the meal. We enjoyed an excellent appetizer, the seafood trifle, followed by spaghetti with clams, and finally a tuna steak, truly delicious. We ate outside in the little square in front of the restaurant, and the atmosphere was truly relaxing.

06/05/2026: Too many words would be needed to describe "Il Petes." I've been frequenting this fine dining establishment for a couple of years now. They regularly update the menu, so you always get to try something different and innovative. Each dish is meticulously crafted and beautifully balanced; the flavors range from the most classic to the most sophisticated, and the presentation is always impeccable. The wine list is well-stocked, with prices appropriate to the market and the location. The service is magnificent, very professional and attentive, but with a hint of familiarity, it becomes friendly and fun. The price, contrary to what others say, is more than reasonable for the quality of the dishes, the service, and the attention to detail. Il Petes isn't a place, it's an experience to be had. You are unique 💛 Ps. Everyone try the grilled mushrooms and the risotto with snails: your hearts will fill with joy!

15/12/2025: Believe me, the pizza at this place is extraordinary, sublime, superb. You can tell a good pizza just by looking at it... Number One's cooking method makes it the best pizza I've had in a while!!! Fresh ingredients, not too few, not too many. The perfect pizza. And not only that, but also the eggplant, the fried calamari... Enza the chef works magic with her hands, and Lina makes the restaurant a welcoming and family-friendly place. The sausage and broccoli rabe are just too much!

06/12/2025: Fabulous pizzeria! Among the delicious pizzas, I recommend the panuozzo. Try it and believe it. The owner, Mr. Ciccio, is great.

06/04/2026: A very positive experience. We ate really, really well. The food was excellent, and the service was also very fast, despite the large crowd at the restaurant. I recommend booking because they're always full, precisely because the food is so good.

23/03/2026: Excellent seafood restaurant in Muggia, at the entrance to the historic center. I highly recommend making a reservation and parking in the underground car park, where a convenient elevator takes you up to the town. Excellent, well-prepared, and very tasty seafood dishes, with friendly staff.

16/05/2026: The tiramisu was to die for, the coffee is their own blend and was unbelievable. The place is so pretty, definetely a must if you are looking for a cafe in Trieste. The service was nice however very slow and they were missing a lot of cakes on their menu.

19/05/2026: Beautiful restaurant. Staff are friendly and helpful. We had pasta, gnocchi, and fish--all great. Nice wine selection. Cozy atmosphere.

09/05/2026: I would give this place zero Stars if I could. The cover charge of 4 Euros is ridiculous. They also charge 4 euros for a bottle of water and they only have one size no smaller bottles available. The staff was rude and inattentive. I waited 10 minutes and no one came to take my order so I got up and left. No way would I ever set foot in this place again

15/12/2025: 5 out of 5 stars for everything! Location, setting, food, presentation, and the friendliness and kindness of the staff (a very important factor). All the dishes were excellent, their quality and presentation, and the empathy of the waiter (alas, I don't remember his name) who recommended the traditional biscuits with Marsala wine to finish our meal. This is a place where they make you feel at home, sitting at a table with friends. My husband and I will definitely return to this wonderful place.

25/10/2025: We enjoyed everything! Super good and the portions were just right! The hospitality was top notch. We'll be back. I don't like taking pictures of food, but today I made an exception... ...we've been back and will be back again. This time I'm sharing the before and after of two dishes....superb!!! Thank you

11/10/2025: Recommended trattoria, with tasty and beautifully presented seafood dishes. Friendly owners. We opted for mussels with chili pepper instead of pepper, and instead of the mussels with pepper, we opted for mussels with impeperoncina (a type of mussels with pepper), followed by fish gratin and sardines in saor (sautéed sardines). The house wine by the glass is good, both still and sparkling. Prices are reasonable. Free street parking is available near the restaurant. Worth a stop for some food and wine.

30/03/2026: Maybe we came on the wrong night. The location is beautiful, unique in its genre. The food, unfortunately, falls short; the service is attentive and fairly quick. The bottle of bubbles is very good.

29/04/2026: It was great to stay at Paolo's Taverna. He was kind, friendly and gave us a lot of good advices. We loved being there and I hope we will return in some time.
