29/04/2025: Excellent inn in the nature of the town of the same name in the Bolognese hills. Quiet hotel, excellent cuisine and beautiful classic-style rooms. Breakfast was decent. Nice managers.

29/04/2025: I had dinner at this restaurant on Saturday 04/26/2025. There were 6 of us, welcoming atmosphere and excellent food. Of all of them, I'll only mention two dishes: super pappardelle, both as a pasta and as a condiment, and then wild boar like I've never eaten (not the usual overcooked stew to remove the gamey flavour/smell). Thanks also to our waitress who made us feel at home, as well as recommending an excellent Merlot from Valsamoggia! I highly recommend it, a place outside the city and with all the advantages of a place outside the city, indeed!

10/05/2025: Ambiente raffinato e curato. Ottima la musica di sottofondo. Personale molto cortese e la proprietaria molto attenta e competente. Abbiamo gustato dei carciofi fritti superlativi, crostini ai funghi prugnoli deliziosi. Passatelli con pomodorini e prugnoli ottimi e una ribollita stupenda. Per dolce, abbiamo ordinato un'altra porzione degli indimenticabili carciofi fritti.

04/06/2025: We visited upon our arrival to a local hotel so had not reserved. The restaurant were able to seat us and upon seating you could tell that this was a popular spot with the locals (always a good sign) We ordered the salad caprese , followed by tortiollne with mushroom and truffle oil, tagliatelle with ragu and then a pizza snoopy to share. All of the food was delicious and a good portion size and very reasonably priced. The staff were friendly and efficient and spoke english which i didnt expect but am always grateful for as my Italian is rusty. A lovely traditional eatery and i would definitely recommend.

17/05/2025: Disappointing pizza. Crust raw and rubbery. A real shame. Service ok but dough and quality of ingredients could be improved.

11/05/2025: My husband and I ate a pizza for lunch as we were in the area for a visit... we asked for it well cooked and it arrived with a soupy top and a black bottom almost everywhere. It wasn't crunchy, in fact I would say soggy.

11/05/2025: Terrible food... the pasta was undercooked and too salty... the second course arrived early despite having specified that it had to wait . Then she took him back to the kitchen to stay warm. But obviously afterwards it became too dry.. the waiter was super friendly..

24/05/2025: Modern and softly lit (perhaps a little too much) restaurant. Food and cocktails beyond our expectations. Only note: from the beginning of the dinner, a certain rush emerged from the waiting staff in the service, which clashes with the format proposed by the restaurant. For example, we were drinking the cocktails and we were immediately served the wine, the small pastry together with the dessert, plates and cutlery taken away immediately. We arrived at 9.30 and it is understandable a little more rush, but at 10.30 we were already out, feeling the pressure of wanting to close. We will definitely return for the quality of the dishes, but we will try to arrive earlier.

19/05/2025: Do you want the best meal in Bologna? Make a reservation at Oltre. If there are no reservations available, you might get lucky and eat at the bar. It's the same menu. Food is impeccable and the service is stellar. Thank you everyone!

L'unico appunto è il menù abbastanza ripetitivo (raramente viene aggiunto qualche nuovo piatto). Sicuramente consigliato, rapporto qualità/prezzo onesto

31/03/2025: Wandering around Bologna we stopped in this beautiful place for breakfast, tasted the lemon cream cake, pears and a tart they were really delicious, I fully recommend it

11/05/2025: It is a pleasant place, in the green hills of Bologna. The location is fantastic and pleasant! I've frequented this restaurant over the course of many years, I hadn't been in a while, and frankly I was a little disappointed. The menu does not specify which gluten-free foods are available, and the waiter who was supposed to take the order went back and forth a few times to ask for information and had no idea how to direct us. Inflation is fine, but we spent about double compared to 2/3 years ago, for the service and the type of dishes offered... we were disappointed.

04/05/2025: Peccato... Ed è una delusione... Un posto così bellino, e direi solo quello. Inizio che in sala c'erano 4 tavoli. Tempi di servizio come se forse servivano 200 persone. L'affettato e classico, niente di che. Per richiesta di fiori di zucchina, no... non c'è abbiamo, finito... Di già? E va bene... Passatelli in brodo? Menomale che non lo prese io... Da lontano è un brodo con maccheroni di ieri, mai visto niente simile🤢. Tagliata (sul menù un nome in gourme) 20 euro, servita sul una piadina del mulino bianco, con rosmarino... Fredda, gommosa... Con patate al forno sulla carta, ma patate fritte a sorpresa... Perché? Finite al forno... Portate insieme con verdure a griglia dopo 15 mi che mangiavo carne... Dolce? Unica foto che scattata... Posto non meritava memoria del cellulare. Conclusione: se dovete vendicarsi con qualcuno e posto ideale da consigliare. Io di sicuro non tornerò. È si servizio top, non sapeva cosa ha, cosa finito, sbagliava origine... Perché era stanca.... ###################### It’s terrible, what else can you say... The place is even very nice, and the inside is very cute... And that’s all. The appetizers are ordinary, nothing special. It's all over... There were four tables, they ate it all))) Pasatelli, that's tough... Liquid with yesterday's micarons, I've never seen anything like that in any restaurant 🤢. Taglyata, she still had such a confusing name... Cold and rubbery with baked potatoes on the menu but in fact fries... And the answer is why fries, because there are no baked ones anymore... It's over😁🫣. Well, yes, they bring it about 15 minutes after the meat... Probably for dessert... The folded photo will speak for itself, sorry, it didn’t offend others, I was in shock. Well, if you want to take revenge on someone, then this is the place to recommend. I definitely won’t set foot there anymore. Oh, and also the service))) the girl constantly confused everything, didn’t know what they had in stock... because she was tired)))

30/04/2025: Big flaw.... we were a group, some had the starter, some the second course and some just a grilled meat like me... which was served at midnight from 8pm.... Not even a piece of bread.. asked several times they waited for those who had had a starter then the first course..... and finally the second courses too... which luckily was very good... but an absurd wait.... I hope they organize themselves better....

24/04/2025: We had the most amazing dinner here, most glorious ham and mozzarella to start, a fantastic ragù and 5 divine pizzas, the pistachio and mortadella one is excellent!!! Would one million % recommend!

26/05/2025: What an unexpected treat. In an upmarket section of the city on the south side this was a fabulous evening of local gastronomy and generous hospitality. The quality of the ingredients and cuisine were exemplary. Our server was the best who anticipated everything and gave good advice. We were four guests and we ordered three bottles to accompany the different courses. His guidance was very helpful and appreciated. No fixed menu with prices - go with the flow and the recommendations. $125pp all in. Well worth it and such a relief from the touristy restaurants of Bologna where every menu has the same dishes, and are mostly disappointing. We look forward to returning.

25/05/2025: A dinner at Fabio is not simply a meal, but a real journey through the flavors and hospitality of Emilia. The strong point? Without a doubt the very generous selection of appetizers and desserts: an endless sequence of carefully prepared, tasty dishes, full of personality and tradition. Each course is a surprise, each taste a small pleasure. Making the experience even more enjoyable is the service: the waiter who welcomed us was impeccable. Prepared, attentive, able to put us at ease with naturalness and competence. The perfect balance between professionalism and human warmth. Highly recommended for those who want to experience authentic Bolognese hospitality, in a simple but substantial environment.

22/05/2025: We chose the restaurant by luck . The food was pretty decent. Good pizza and above average pasta . But the service was bad . Really bad . They served us the pizza without any plates and the pasta came 30+ minutes later .

24/04/2025: Abbiamo ordinato delle tagliate di angus, con contorno di patate e quando ci sono state servite puzzavano letteralmente di pesce. Mio figlio ha ordinato dei tortellini con la panna, che erano di pessimo aspetto, secchi e praticamente incollati l’un l’altro. Alle nostre legittime rimostranze ci è stato detto che le patate erano state cotte nello stesso forno in cui era stato preparato del salmone. Una tagliata è stata sostituita. Non ci è stato fatto nessuno sconto per lo spiacevole inconveniente e non ci è stato offerto neanche un caffè. Dulcis in fundo al pagamento non ci è stata rilasciata né fattura né scontrino .. SCONSIGLIATO !!!
