05/07/2025: One of the best fast food spots in Bologna! If you're a fan of fried chicken, this place is a must-try. Their Zinger burger is even better than KFC's—crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. The fries are top quality, and everything is served with fresh vegetables. Highly recommended for Zinger burger lovers!

07/07/2025: The food and the place are also recommendable, but the service is terrible. For the waiters the word rude is really reductive. The correct term is rude, because choosing a place to spend a nice evening and hearing the waiters call the diners with the term "dado" I think says a lot, even more with expressions such as "I've been asking for two hours if you need a glass and you say no", or even "good morning good morning can you hear me" to communicate the arrival of a dish is truly more from a 90s dance hall than a restaurant. I will not return and I do not recommend it to people who want to spend a quality evening.

06/07/2025: Beautiful location, good pizzeria, tourist-style menu. My least favorite was the service: too rushed and sloppy. Yes, it's a pizzeria, and you can't expect much more, but in my personal opinion, I think such a charming and well-kept place could use a higher level of service. Prices are normal, not expensive at all. Reservations are essential.

24/06/2025: Good food, but service with room for improvement! We came across Oltre because we regularly visit fine dining and Michelin-recommended restaurants – including recently in Italy. We made a last-minute reservation for a spontaneous lunch, and the receptionist was very friendly on the phone. However, when we arrived, we were greeted rather reservedly and distantly with our baby. The service was correct, but unfortunately not warm – we didn't feel truly welcome. It was particularly unfortunate that a small request (an appetizer and pasta for our child at the same time) was declined – on the grounds that this isn't customary in Italy. Our previous experiences in the country speak differently. We were also rather rudely informed that the kitchen was closing about an hour before closing time – making it impossible to reorder. The food itself was delicious and of very good quality – there's nothing to complain about. The non-alcoholic cocktails were also creative and appealing. But: Anyone expecting a completely relaxed, possibly child-friendly experience might not feel quite at home here.

15/06/2025: We went to Oltre for one birthday as we were staying 2 nights in Bologna ! The place is very romantic, small and intimate! Welcome was nice, and expectations were high due to excellent reviews checked ! It was an excellent diner and we were impressed by the starters (cavallo tonnato for me and ceviche for my girlfriend) The pasta were good but I can’t see memorable ! Dessert was excellent ! A great diner with remarkable service ! Highly recommended to reserve

11/02/2025: Bella location al primo piano dell'albergo, ambiente elegante e personale estremamente gentile e professionale. Buona selezione di vini; piatti molto gustosi e delle giuste porzioni. L'unico appunto è il menù abbastanza ripetitivo (raramente viene aggiunto qualche nuovo piatto). Sicuramente consigliato, rapporto qualità/prezzo onesto

21/06/2025: Terrible experience as far as I'm concerned! Tagliatelle with ragù but it didn't taste like Bolognese ragù and a mixed salad with additions that weren't requested and not even on the menu (salad lettuce for example and dark and dry tuna. The only good thing was the bread!

04/05/2025: Peccato... Ed è una delusione... Un posto così bellino, e direi solo quello. Inizio che in sala c'erano 4 tavoli. Tempi di servizio come se forse servivano 200 persone. L'affettato e classico, niente di che. Per richiesta di fiori di zucchina, no... non c'è abbiamo, finito... Di già? E va bene... Passatelli in brodo? Menomale che non lo prese io... Da lontano è un brodo con maccheroni di ieri, mai visto niente simile🤢. Tagliata (sul menù un nome in gourme) 20 euro, servita sul una piadina del mulino bianco, con rosmarino... Fredda, gommosa... Con patate al forno sulla carta, ma patate fritte a sorpresa... Perché? Finite al forno... Portate insieme con verdure a griglia dopo 15 mi che mangiavo carne... Dolce? Unica foto che scattata... Posto non meritava memoria del cellulare. Conclusione: se dovete vendicarsi con qualcuno e posto ideale da consigliare. Io di sicuro non tornerò. È si servizio top, non sapeva cosa ha, cosa finito, sbagliava origine... Perché era stanca.... ###################### It’s terrible, what else can you say... 30/04/2025: Big flaw.... we were a group, some had the starter, some the second course and some just a grilled meat like me... which was served at midnight from 8pm.... Not even a piece of bread.. asked several times they waited for those who had had a starter then the first course..... and finally the second courses too... which luckily was very good... but an absurd wait.... I hope they organize themselves better....

10/06/2025: atmosphere is warm, service is at your own pace. this is an establishment run on vibes and the vibes are chill. some restaurants establish a level of sincerely that i love and this place fits, i’d be a regular if i lived there. make sure to understand how they serve food, i saw a bunch of folk be dissatisfied because they thought they can do a la carte. skip lunch before going, this will be a big meal.

05/07/2025: The bar is nice and the bartenders are very kind, but for those like me, who live above it, almost every night the music is too loud and people scream really loud even late at night. I just moved here, and after a while it gets heavy Pls if you could contain the music and the screams a bit I would be grateful I understand that on weekends there is a local life, but there are also people who live there and it is irritating after a certain So I hope this request is accepted, because I don't feel like having to call the right people

02/07/2025: I had the pleasure of meeting the lady who serves at the bar, she was truly a sweetheart. She served me with extreme kindness and proved to be a very open-minded person when I spoke about my boyfriend. It is a safe bar for queer people and this in a city like Bologna, has a great value. I hope this review can encourage more customers to come here, this place deserves it.

25/06/2025: Good pizza but incompetent table service: we were served by three different people (which creates confusion and I think is unprofessional) of which the third one literally took my plate away exactly when I had eaten the last bite, approaching me while I was taking the last piece of pizza, creating a truly embarrassing uncomfortable situation. I don't think I'll be back.

21/06/2025: Went for lunch here and it seemed lovely but the service was so slow and unattentive. We ordered starters to share and main courses but the main courses took over an hour to come and forgot one dish for one of table guests and the waiters didnt care and werent apologetic. It wasnt busy either so its not like it was understandable. They didnt take responsibility and then we're annoyed when people came over and asked how it was and we said not to bother. Which was true! They were hungry and wanted food now but they werent going to get that there. The food also wasnt so special so it just wasnt really worth it all. It was a lovely location and maybe just an off day but yeah, not somewhere I would really recommend or go back to.
