28/12/2025: Everything was delicious: mixed frittatas, linguine with anchovies, ziti alla genovese, mixed fried fish. So much!

29/12/2025: The Christmas lunch was mediocre, far below the restaurant standards on normal days. A set menu with small portions was served, and the braised meat was poor.

03/10/2025: My husband and I were welcomed for lunch one Sunday—and I say welcomed because it was 2 PM—during our wanderings to get lunch!! And we couldn't have had better luck! We ate wonderfully, the fish was delicious, and the staff was super helpful and knowledgeable in presenting the dishes to us... And last but not least, I love desserts, but I'm often a little disappointed, so I had an excellent dessert after dinner!! Go there!!!

08/10/2025: I'll start by mentioning the kindness of the waiters. It's not a given, and it's always a pleasure to find it. We ordered pasta with provola and potatoes and spaghetti with clams, followed by fried meatballs with grilled vegetables. Everything was excellent, even the house wine, which was well-priced.

07/01/2026: A wonderful experience. Everything was elegant and refined, with innovative dishes, attention to detail and customer service. The chef was very polite and even came to greet us at our table. I didn't like the confirmation message requiring a dress code, and I found the table service a bit intrusive, constantly refilling your water glasses without asking, considering the price is €5 a bottle, compared to the €110 or €130 set menu.

Prices are around 25€ for a pasta dish or misto di pesce fritto, but they make it worth it with generous portions + by offering wonderful views of the intimate beach, and kindly transporting you to/from Conca upon request. 02/11/2025: When you walk through the doors of Osteria da Ersilia in Perito, in the heart of Cilento, you're not just entering a restaurant: you're entering a family. This is immediately evident from the genuine friendliness of Leo and Ersilia, who welcome you with the communicative and warm spirit of those who truly love what they do. But the magic is revealed on the plate. We started with an aperitif that perfectly whetted the appetite, followed by two first courses that showcase the mastery of the kitchen: anchovies with broccoli, fresh and delicately balanced, and pork ragù, rich with the flavor that only tradition can provide. I won't tell you to choose one over the other—both are worth trying. The second courses are splendid: smoked scamorza cheese placed on lemon leaves is a touch of elegance that never goes amiss, followed by grilled goat cheese that retains just the right amount of creaminess. The fig jam that accompanies everything is the detail that transforms the good into the extraordinary. The organic Aglianico/Cabernet wine proves to be a perfect choice, while the desserts—four cannoncini with ricotta and caramel—provide a sweet and convincing finale. The San Severino Amaro closes everything out with a bold and fragrant note. And the bill? It was completely worth the price, fair and transparent, as it should be. Osteria da Ersilia is more than just a place to visit in Cilento: it's a place to highlight, emphasize, and recommend to anyone who loves good food made with love.

06/11/2025: Open Gate Hotel in Praiano was absolutely spotless, you can tell right away how much pride the family takes in keeping everything clean and customer first. You truly feel like you’re stepping into their home with how warmly they welcome and cater to guests. The on-site restaurant served some of the best dinner we had in all of Praiano. The breakfast that’s included is perfect, with something for everyone. There’s a great spread of American options but also an authentic Italian breakfast with fresh pastries, fruit, and local specialties that were out of this world. The location is really great. Its about a 10 minute walk to the marina, a bus stop right out front which Pasquale helped make sure we caught and a 5 minute taxi ride to the center or 20 minute walk. This was not my first time visiting Praiano but now I know about this gem. Between the view, the food, and the incredible hospitality, Open Gate Hotel made our stay unforgettable and I will be back.

28/10/2025: Amazing staff who were very helpful with everything. Clean rooms and hotel overall. The restaurant was also very nice, great breakfast. Stunning views from the room. Easy to get around on the Amalfi coast. The hotel was located on a busy main road, so the noise from the road was quite loud. However, this was not a significant issue for us. Overall we had a very pleasant stay and will definitely come back!

11/10/2025: Very good pizza and calzone and very good service. We stopped by during our honeymoon trip and were served by a super friendly Argentine waitress with beautiful tattoos. Thank you very much for everything.

21/11/2025: The Risorgimento restaurant is right on the beach in Conca dei Marini. The food is very good and the service is excellent. After a day of beach and swimming, the place is perfect for a pizza and a cold beer.

22/10/2025: Wonderful food with a beautiful view and a great atmosphere! The staff was extremely kind and even brought us a free appetizer. Luigi was our server and he was awesome (great and hardworking kid)! It was 100% worth the extra steps down to the restaurant.

25/08/2025: It's the pizzeria of my childhood, and everything has remained the same. Simple atmosphere, good pizza made with quality ingredients. Rosetta and her husband are always so sweet.

01/08/2025: A lovely little restaurant on the mountain road to Amalfi. The owner was very welcoming and had a nice chat about where we were from and where we had been. Her husband cooked the pizza using a traditional wood fuelled oven which we really enjoyed. Prices were very good.

11/11/2025: This restaurant saved me from the salty European food cravings on humid days!! The food was just the right amount of salt and delicious. In Europe, we often eat outside on terraces, so it was unfamiliar, but fun! 😆

01/11/2025: Very bad experience in this restaurant. Staff not serious, we didn't receive what we have ordered and the waiter said just after "sorry we don't have what you want so we replace by this"... And at the next table an old guy was smoking. My wife had the smoke coming to her during the time we were eating. Even the next table complained... Horrible experience despite the sun and the sea.
