26/08/2024: I'm sorry for the delay on this review but this review deserves my full sit-down attention I celebrated a very special birthday here just over a week ago and for someone who has been in the hospitality life for a very long time I can truly say with confidence this is the most wonderful and charming night I have ever had at a restaurant. A family run restaurant which has been in operation for over 100 years is now in the wonderful hands of the 4 charming brothers of the family. Each one of them came over to introduce themselves at different points throughout the night and when encouraged by us they proudly walked us through their family history and how they all became who they are today, everyone have their own special skills within the business, wine connoisseur, head chef, guest relations, business man, the godfther of the farm and so on Fresh ingredients from their family farm/gardens and their local fishing boats delivered straight to your plate there is no better way to enjoy great food. We opted for the full experience so we went for the tasting menu which did not disappoint!! Each dish being walked through and explained with such passion and pride it honestly just brought pure joy to my heart and clearly the experience I had been urning my whole life, every attention to our table was delivered with a genuine smile and such care, everyone who works here are clearly very proud of who/where they work. ( Big shout out to the Nieces ❤️) Good luck with Uni 🤞 Each dish beautifully presented and busting with flavour, just so much love went into every dish I do honestly wish we took more photos but we were so happily wrapped up in the experience and the family vibes we barely looked at our phones or thought to take pictures. ( This is what you call a perfect night and how a dining experience should be ) Pre drinks on the terrace was idealic and the view over the Amalfi coast is definitely my favorite romantic way to start of any night. We ended up staying 3 hours past closing and cancelled our other reservation somewhere else for late drinks, once you found what felt like home why go anywhere else. They even gave us a lift back into town once they closed down, if I didn't have a ferry first thing in the morning I would have gone out with the rest of the team ( you are all such wonderful humans 💜) The full experience of the family mixed with the service was truly spectacular and I really wish I was apart of this family ❣️ Especially after hearing how they celebrate their Christmas! I wish nothing but truly great things for the entire family and I'll definitely be booking another Amalfi trip soon just so I can hangout with the family again. 13/08/2024: Amazing, amazing, and AMAZING! The food was the absolute best! We ordered so much to try and taste everything! Most of the staff was friendly and helpful! The location is also great with beautiful views, especially at sunset! I highly recommend this on your trip to the amalfi coast!

12/08/2024: Abbiamo cenato in questo ristorante sabato 10 agosto. Il Sig. Antonio, 77enne proprietario ed animatore del locale, ci ha accolto come fossimo gli amici di sempre. Vi siamo intrattenuti cantando con lui e mangiando in maniera fantastica. Consigliatissimo.

20/08/2024: Il San Pietro di Positano is my home away from home where I am treated like family. I cannot say enough great things about this hotel from the friendly staff to the ammenities and the beautiful views. I recommend this hotel to everyone. A must stay if you ever decide to visit Positano!

02/08/2024: My family and I stayed in a villa just 100 meters down the road from La Taverna for 7 nights. We ate at La Taverna Del Leone 4 times during our trip, as we liked it that much. We found it to be the best out of all meals we had in Italy and we dined in Naples, Positano, Capri, and Ravello. The service is unmatched and the food and wine are stellar.

26/07/2024: The extreme quality of their pizzas is surprising. The best we have had after 8 days in Italy and passing through Rome and Naples (no less). Baked with whole wheat flour, in a wood-fired oven and with a buffalo mozzarella base. Awesome. Incredible winery and attentive service Worth

13/08/2024: The location is very central in Positano and the hotel has a parking garage with good guarded service. From the hotel you can easily reach the beach, shopping and many restaurants. When we checked in, the Guest Relations Manager gave us a very friendly welcome. While we were able to enjoy our welcome drink, check-in at reception was carried out very quickly. We were shown around the hotel by a very nice lady and everything important was explained to us. The room was very spacious and had a small garden. The air conditioning was a dream. The facilities left nothing to be desired and we really enjoyed our stay. The service at the bar was friendly and very accommodating. At breakfast we had a wide selection of sweets, sausage, cheese and egg dishes.

29/07/2024: Al Palazzo is set in a beautiful courtyard with greenery and flowers setting the perfect atmosphere for a lovely dining experience. The staff were friendly and attentive. All dishes were enjoyed. The smoked flavor of the tuna carpaccio was unlike any we have had. It was just what we hoped for to begin our meal. The eggplant main dish was tender and perfect for a lighter lunch option. My oldest son enjoyed the claims and pasta. My youngest raved about his burger. The lemon sorbet was a refreshing treat at the end of a delcious meal. One order of sorbet could easily be shared as it is three nice size scoops. Al Palazzo receives praise in all areas as the atmosphere, service, and food were all top notch.

Sin duda he descubierto un lugar maravilloso con una carta impactante y un personal de primer nivel. Si vienes a Positano y no pruebas esta experiencia asombrosa, te arrepentirás. 17/08/2024: We had such a wonderful experience at Il Tridente Positano! Our view was unparalleled and our servers were very nice and professional, their wine and food recommendations were delicious! We celebrated our honeymoon there, and although I initially hadn’t been able to book the table I wanted, I signed up for the waitlist and got contacted immediately. I absolutely recommend this restaurant in your upcoming visit to Positano!
