08/06/2025: This was a spot I would describe as a complete tourist trap- No locals and very misleading reviews. The pizza was mediocre- not neopolitan Or Roman and very bland. Crust and sauce were sub par. Gnocchi Sorentina Was fine and the eggplant Parmesan was very greasy - possibly jarred eggplant smothered in cheese/oil. The limoncello spritz was also not drinkable. My review would have been more favorable had the service been slightly good- it was not. Do not fall for the good reviews here- try somewhere else in Sorrento.

04/10/2025: Fantastic 😊 My Italian in-laws from Naples were absolutely blown away by the Spigiola and Pasta Vongole. My Pasta Genovese was also absolutely fantastic, and the ambiance right on the beach was fantastic. We'll definitely be back!

16/09/2025: What a wonderful experience we had at this family run business, Bagno Dai Tu. The setting is breathtaking, with a restaurant and view that are truly stunning. The staff were warm and welcoming, and every dish was absolutely delicious.

16/12/2025: The pizza was very good, huge, and light (it left me a little thirsty afterward, but it's almost rare these days for pizzas not to do that). I was there with friends, and the atmosphere was truly calm and intimate. The waiter was very friendly, helping us choose our pizzas and joking with us the whole time. I love it when pizzerias (or places in general) reflect the Neapolitan atmosphere, when there's fun and camaraderie. A convenient feature (which isn't a given) was the option to split the payment. The staff split the bill for us each without causing any problems (sometimes a group can't split the bill perfectly due to lack of change, etc.). We really enjoyed our stay and will be back.

11/12/2025: Exquisite pizza that adheres to the rules of authentic Neapolitan pizza, as they are affiliated with "L'Associazione Verace Pizza Napoletana," a seal of quality. If you see the Pulcinella logo on the door, guaranteeing the quality of the ingredients, then that's where you should eat Neapolitan pizza.

22/09/2025: A true pearl of Ischia! At Trattoria da Peppina di Renato we finally felt we had found the real Italy. The atmosphere was a feast for the senses: authentic, steeped in history and tradition, with every detail in the décor arranged with taste and passion. Francesco, with his stories, guided us not only through the dishes but also through the soul of the island: its soil, its wines, and the deep roots of its cuisine. It felt as though we had been welcomed into the living memory of a family. The grandmother’s meatballs with pine nuts, in their rich tomato sauce, captured me from the very first bite. I truly felt as if they had been prepared by a nonna herself, with that love and patience only a grandmother can give. I can say, without exaggeration, that I had never tasted anything so delicious, so tender, so perfectly balanced. Then came the pasta with rabbit sauce and herbs. Wonderful! Followed by the traditional Ischian rabbit dish, which I had longed to try since arriving on the island. It was intensely aromatic, served with real, rustic fried potatoes. And yes, we followed Francesco’s advice: we even did "la scarpetta"!!! Dipping bread into the rabbit sauce was a revelation. We paired the meal with a local Biancolella, produced just a few houses up the hill: fresh, crisp, and mineral, with that volcanic rock note that gives Ischia its name as the "green island". The evening ended with two special digestifs. One was made of arugula, unique and vibrant, and the other was Piperna, a true spirit of the island. A must try! This was not just dinner, but a journey into tradition, authenticity, and warmth. Thank you from the heart for an unforgettable evening. We will carry this inspiration back to our own little Italian restaurant in Germany, and we hope to return soon, at least once more, to relive this magic.

12/09/2025: Wonderful evening. Professional and very helpful staff. Excellent food quality and absolutely reasonable prices. What more can I say... the tradition and history of Ischian cuisine with expertly combined reinterpretations. The place is beautiful and exudes joy with a hint of nostalgia... all accompanied by the greatest voice and guitar on the island of Ischia. Well done guys (did you give your lighter back?)

05/10/2025: Highly recommend LaTonnarella. It is in a great location with breathtaking water views from the rooms and dining room. The hotel’s decor is beautiful. The staff is very pleasant and professional. The food is delicious. We wished we could have stayed longer.

02/10/2025: My wife and I really enjoyed our 3-night stay here. We visited in late September and had great weather. The hotel is nicely decorated and we loved our terrace balcony with a great view of the bay. We also enjoyed the hotel breakfast. We did not make too much use of the beach but it is pretty rocky down there so I would recommend bringing some water shoes or flip flops. We also had dinner one night at the restaurant and the food and service was fantastic.

09/09/2025: Welcoming place, although they could pay more attention to some details; the staff was kind and attentive. We had dinner with friends for pizza on a Friday. My pizza was the worst... raw and sour tomato, almost nonexistent parmesan, and barely any olive oil! The price was really too high!!!

21/11/2025: The hotel has a good location and nice facilities. Ample parking is available. The downside is the size of the rooms (small). Regarding the bathroom, we were only given enough toiletries (soap, shampoo) for two people, even though there were three of us. It also had a bad smell, apparently coming from the drains. Because of this, we had to keep the bathroom window open constantly, even though it was autumn, cold, and rainy during our stay. The reception staff, despite their kindness, didn't speak Spanish, making communication difficult. There's a pizzeria or restaurant next door that's connected to the hotel. The night before we left, we wanted to use the complimentary drink (a bottled juice) and also wanted to eat something there, as we were very tired. We had had a long day trip to Amalfi, Positano, and Sorrento. Of the three young men serving the tables, one was rude and discriminatory towards us. He wouldn't let us into the restaurant when I told him we were there for the complimentary drink. He told us the barmaid would serve us and that we should sit in some uncomfortable chairs near the entrance with very high tables. It was obvious to him that we were older women with limited mobility (in our sixties). Then he stayed behind chatting and laughing with his colleagues. The barmaid was also dismissive. This happened on November 20, 2025. It's unfortunate that an experience that could have been pleasant and memorable, like visiting beautiful Pompeii, was marred by a situation that could have been easily avoided with trained and respectful staff.

08/11/2025: Food is pretty good. Large portions, family style. Servers were amazing and friendly. I don't like that people smoke by the tables outside, it's gross and ruins the meal.

03/12/2025: A somewhat hidden restaurant with a classic, slightly dated atmosphere, but very friendly staff, home-style cooking (excellent Genoese, decent grilled meats), and fair prices. We'll definitely be back for the pizza. Recommended.

22/11/2025: Ordered takeout and it arrived 2 hours late (even though I live 15 minutes away). Never again will I get tiny pizzas.

18/12/2025: Honestly, I expected much more from the place and the reviews. The quality isn't excellent, but the welcome is certainly excellent, the classic Neapolitan warmth that you want to find in a trattoria.

17/12/2025: The food was delicious, and the staff was efficient. The dining room was very noisy, but it was also extremely busy. Unfortunately, they didn't have coffee.
