02/03/2026: A spectacle. Seafront. Another pearl of Naples.

01/03/2026: I stopped at Ciro's in Mergellina with my wife, a disabled person, and it was impossible to stop or park in front of the bar. There are no disabled parking spaces in the immediate vicinity, and although there were a few free spots a little further ahead, the constant double parking made any safe maneuvering impossible. Even just stopping for a moment to check on my wife in the passenger seat was impossible. Perhaps there is a disabled parking space further away, but in reality, the bar is not accessible to anyone traveling with a frail or mobility-impaired person. A bar this popular should enforce more respect for the rules at its entrance, or at least clearly signpost how and where to stop. For those with a disabled person in the car, not recommended. I'm not writing this to be polemical, but because Naples needs more attention and civility, especially towards those who are already in difficulty.

09/02/2026: Very nice and welcoming place, very kind staff. I had a pizza with yellow cherry tomatoes and good buffalo mozzarella, with just one flaw: the yellow cherry tomatoes were very watery, and the buffalo mozzarella hadn't drained enough of its whey, which made the pizza base a bit too wet. The pizza was very easy to digest, even though I ate it at 10:30 pm.

19/01/2026: My family and I have been going there for years. Frijenno Magnanno is synonymous with quality, professionalism, and courtesy. Everything is delicious! From appetizers to desserts. I recommend it to everyone! The Esposito "Spagnuolo" family

23/09/2025: Here, you get significantly more than you expect. The exterior of the Emilia restaurant doesn't give away the selection and quality of the food. High-quality ingredients are refined with spices and finesse to create a culinary delight. I ate my best chop ever, tender as butter 😋. A real insider tip. The owner participates in cooking competitions and boasts four meters of trophies and awards.

12/03/2026: Fantastic staff make this place perfect for your stay in pompeii. The reception staff are so helpful and the breakfast team so friendly and welcoming. Would stay here again just for the attentive service. The only down sides being the poor electrical points in the bedroom which we could not get our electrical appliances to work in, and this included the hotel room kettle, the non working fridge which meant that I could't keep my medication cold, the lack of balcony furniture and tepid "hot" water in the shower. This is a shame as the wonderful staff really put their hearts into making your stay an experience which you will not forget. The hotel is sited opposite the archeology site and there are transport links to other places close by.

10/03/2026: Fantastic location, opposite the entrance to the excavations. Very convenient private parking. Breakfast was adequate, but the cappuccino was truly tasteless, both from the bar and the vending machine. The fruit juice was the same. The desserts are standard—pies and donuts, but no local products (no sfogliatelle, cannoli, etc.). Only plain croissants. Single-serving packaged jams and off-brand yogurt, only plain. Bread, but no toaster. Maple syrup, but no pancakes. Small room with a tiny bathroom, with broken tiles and exposed grout. Small TV. Very comfortable bed. Are you sure it's a 4-star hotel? Thank you for your kind reply. But from your booking confirmation email, which I've attached, we had booked a standard double room, not an economy one. We also paid for the two small bottles of water, which were the only items in the minibar. This has never happened in a 4-star hotel, or at least without being notified at check-in. Thanks again for your consideration.

The food is simply incredible — beautifully prepared dishes with striking flavors and fresh ingredients that highlight the tradition of local cuisine. You can see the care in every detail of the kitchen. The service also deserves special mention: a very attentive and friendly team, always willing to explain the dishes and suggest good options from the menu. 10/08/2025: Locale su una splendida terrazza affacciata sulla spiaggia di Marina del Cantone apparecchiatura curata in ogni minimo dettaglio il menù è ampio con ampia scelta di piatti della cucina tradizionale locale e altri di innovazione e rivisitati con cura,e attenzione ingredienti freschi e di qualità la presentazione dei piatti è molto curata e piacevole da vedere il servizio è attento e mai invadente curando le esigenze e richieste del cliente la carta dei vini è vasta con etichette campane e non solo curata con professionalità da Domenico che vi consiglierà al meglio si conclude con una varietà di dolci che vi sorprenderà per freschezza e bontà curati personalmente con maestri dalla signora Mery il prezzo è in linea con quanto.offerto.da locale dove è sempre un piacere tornare per assaggiare le loro specialità in un contesto di qualità familiare.

12/10/2025: VERY slow service. They didn't bring our food at the same time. They brought our dishes one by one, an hour apart!!! And it was spaghetti and a pizza. No explanation and no consideration. Noisy place.

11/10/2025: It's slow service and little attention to the customer. My brother-in-law's dish was forgotten. More than half the dishes use frozen fish. In Naples, it's disgusting. I ate cold mussels.

12/03/2026: Good quality food, slightly sluggish service. Prices for individual dishes weren't displayed, only the fixed prices. We didn't eat the fixed menu; there were six of us, and five of us ate. He charged us for seven people. We pointed this out to him, and he only refunded us half of what he owed us. Very clever. We definitely won't be back, and we don't recommend it.

24/02/2026: Small place, but you always feel at home. Impeccable service on weekdays, but it's best to avoid it on weekends as there are long lines and staff are unfortunately scarce, so you have to make do with it somehow. There are no reservations, so you have to wait your turn. Parking is a bit difficult given the area around the restaurant, but a 5-minute walk is easily possible. Abundant and delicious food. The staff is very friendly.

07/03/2026: I ate reasonably well, but I don't think I ate the catch of the day, and yet I paid as if it were. The staff should be more informative and clear about the dishes.

01/03/2026: We were shocked. We ordered spaghetti with lupini beans and clams, which to call "unusual" is an understatement: the dish had a very strong buttery smell and was completely dry, devoid of any trace of oil. When we pointed this out, the staff denied it rather than apologize. Being told it wasn't true despite the obvious was the final straw. We paid without continuing.
