07/09/2025: Spectacular location overlooking the Aragonese Castle, beautiful sea. Excellent food, very friendly and helpful staff, from the waiter Mario to the lifeguard. Average prices and excellent quality. We'll definitely be back.

07/10/2025: This is a 2 star Michelin restaurant and unfortunately didn't live up to expectations. The service was between good and average depending on who was serving. I chose from the a la carte menu: I had a tomatoe soup for entree - €75 Essentially tasted like blended tomatoes 🙄 I had the black cod for main which was nice - €90. But, unfortunately, I’ve had better elsewhere. My wife was unwell due to some food poisoning the day before so she asked for somwthing very simple. They served her chicken with brocoli and potatoes. The chicken wasn't seasoned, my 8 year old could make something more interesting. The potatoes saturated in butter. Fair enough this wasn't part of their menu but we felt like it was thrown together without any care or consideration. Finally, the seating is a little interesting. Half the restaurant is table and chairs as you might expect. The other half is sofas and armchairs which is quirky but impractical. The sofa is also a 2 seater sofa that could potentially be shared with the next table, and with not a lot of space inbetween. Overall, not overly impressed and wouldn't ever go back.

10/06/2025: Beautiful hotel and restaurant with fantastic views. The food was good, but not up to par. The service was slow and noisy, lots of discussions in Italian. There is a nice wine list but the choice of wine by the glass was limited. The Vitello Tonato was fine. The main course, gratinated lobster, was less. It was a very small lobster with maybe 50 g of meat and the gratinating did not add anything to the taste. The Crepe Suzette was prepared at the table, which is always a beautiful spectacle. It was strange that no sauce was added at the table, while it was present during preparation. Furthermore, forest fruits were added that do not really belong there, no orange and no ice cream.

13/10/2025: I have been going to the Boccuccia di Rosa pizzeria for years, everything is good, everything is perfect, I can say that it is an excellent place, everything is tasty, well done everyone, and congratulations!

12/10/2025: VERY slow service. They didn't bring our food at the same time. They brought our dishes one by one, an hour apart!!! And it was spaghetti and a pizza. No explanation and no consideration. Noisy place.

11/10/2025: It's slow service and little attention to the customer. My brother-in-law's dish was forgotten. More than half the dishes use frozen fish. In Naples, it's disgusting. I ate cold mussels.

15/06/2025: We went there to eat a pizza, but the owner candidly told us that they haven't made it for years, they can't change the website.... We ate a grill with a side dish, without any particular merit.

14/10/2025: I had dinner at this place and tried the "che macello" sandwich. The meat was high-quality, very good, and cooked perfectly rare. The only downside was that the menu listed onion rings in the sandwich, but I kindly assumed they were the classic battered ones... unfortunately, they were the ones pictured. Service was quick and prices were average.

02/10/2025: This is the most delicious restaurant I've eaten at in Ischia. The grilled seafood here is top-notch. This kind of restaurant is suitable for diners with high taste requirements. Ordinary diners may not understand its cooking skills.

30/09/2025: We had lunch at this restaurant after visiting the Nitrodi springs. The owner is a professional and friendly person. We ate some truly delicious, mostly homemade dishes. The owner explained that everything we ate was from their own garden, except for the fish, of course. Surrounded by greenery, the restaurant has a covered terrace with a breathtaking view—not to be missed.

28/11/2025: Four of us went to La Fornacella for dinner. We loved it! The staff were incredibly friendly and charming, and the food was absolutely delicious. The prices are very reasonable and the quality is excellent. We especially loved the tomato sauce! My brother was thrilled, and so were we. We'll definitely be back!

11/11/2025: I'm deeply saddened by the fact that Gigino is revolting. But what happened to Gigino's real pizza? What a disappointment, I was looking for it and comparing it to all the pizzas I've eaten elsewhere over the years. The dough...not there, the flavor...not there... Ingredients? Fresh ones like escarole, etc., are badly cut, old and poorly distributed, dry, flavorless mozzarella...meh. The dining room is too disorganized, unwelcoming, never revisited (but that's not the worst thing, perhaps the only thing that reminds me of Gigino), with too many staff, too many, and inefficient. I hope the manager reads these reviews and takes them to heart. This criticism, as a regular pizzeria patron, is meant to encourage and bring back to its former glory this jewel of our Sorrento Peninsula, which was once envied by everyone.

10/11/2025: The pizza was far from what we remembered: the dough hadn't risen properly and the toppings were sloppy. Prices were average, and the icing on the cake was the lack of a receipt and the unmarked paid parking, with a barrier at the entrance and staff who didn't provide information about rates. In short, a huge disappointment, far from the much-vaunted university experience.

08/12/2025: Excellent...the owner Ferdinando is delightful and extremely welcoming. We tried the first courses, which were fabulous, the chef was top-notch, everything was perfect. The Best.

12/11/2025: A cozy restaurant with a pleasant atmosphere (thank you for rediscovering "Amore Disperato"! ;-) ) and very delicious food. I highly recommend the mussels and the rabbit. High-quality ingredients, a nice wine selection, and the owner is very genuine.
