La Taverna dei Sapori In Monte di procida

We spontaneously decided to explore the city and stumbled upon this little restaurant. We sat down at an unusual time and were served very warmly. There was no menu, but the cook, Mariella, served us a generous spread of antipasti and asked us what we were in the mood for – pasta, meat, fish, etc. – before our main courses. We finished with a delicious dessert. We enjoyed it so much that we returned a few days later. We were immediately recognized, and once again, we followed Mariella's advice regarding the menu to enjoy another delightful evening. Mariella also chatted with us in English, sharing some insights about the city and its surroundings.

The chef is incredibly friendly and greeted us personally even though we dropped by unexpectedly. The food was excellent, the wine was good, and the atmosphere was fantastic. If you're looking for somewhere to eat on short notice, this is definitely a great place to go! She's also happy to answer questions about the region and give tips for tourists!
