30/10/2025: A true paradise on earth! I'm truly happy with the choice I made: Poggio Ruppelt to celebrate my wedding! 10/10/2025 everything was perfect! Our guests are still complimenting us; some say they've never been to a reception like this! Only those who have been married know how difficult it is to please everyone... and yet they at Poggio Ruppelt succeeded!!!! They enchanted everyone! And we, the newlyweds, can only be grateful! Exceptional staff, sublime chef, Pasquale was top-notch, and Silvia, like a big sister, guided us all step by step and made everything perfect!!!! They're a big family! Their strength also lies in their unity. Choose them if you're a perfectionist! They're a guarantee ❤️

13/10/2025: Simply perfect. We celebrated our wedding here. The venue is fantastic: spacious, meticulously designed, and accompanied by excellent, high-quality food. Silvia, the wedding director, was extremely knowledgeable and helped us coordinate our schedule and meet our needs. Pasquale, the restaurant manager, and his staff offered impeccable and incredibly professional service, attentive and meticulous in every way. Thanks also to Chef Nunzio, who created an unforgettable culinary experience for us with his dishes. Finally, we thank Roberto, the owner of the venue, a man who epitomizes elegance and care for quality, and whose courtesy made us feel like family.

13/10/2025: Another strange experience, honestly. We're not used to private beaches, and in this region, 99% of them are taken over by restaurants. So, you expect first-class service, and the truth is, it's not like that. In such a touristy place, they don't speak Spanish or English. "ABSURD." Afterwards, they only had one waiter, who was hardly a waiter. He set the table in five stages, since instead of carrying everything on a tray, he brought us: the tablecloths first and left. After a few minutes, he arrived with the cutlery and left, then the plates, and then the menus. So if you ask about the food, I'll leave it to your amusing conclusion. In short, expensive and bad. Anyway, Italy....

14/08/2025: We had a wonderful experience at Fracatel! The food was absolutely superb — fresh, full of flavour, and clearly made with the best local ingredients. The service was outstanding: the staff took such good care of us, always kind, attentive, and thoughtful about our needs, never once making us feel rushed or unwelcome. One especially touching moment was when a member of the team celebrated their birthday and kindly shared their homemade cake with us — such a sweet gesture that made us feel like part of the family. A true gem where hospitality and quality go hand in hand. Highly recommended!

21/03/2026: A little out of the way and not easy to find, but the restaurant was packed! The food was excellent: the grilled herring, the contorno with perfectly cooked escarole, and the desserts were all superb. The service was discreet, and the waiter was able to recommend wines without pushing the €80 bottle... so while the prices are higher (let's say the level is comparable to a French restaurant), it's truly worth every penny of the food.

Menu: 3/5 The menu is robust and tasty, with quality ingredients and meticulous preparation. However, given the restaurant's fame and exclusivity, the dining experience is more satisfying than memorable. A few flashes of flair are perhaps lacking, especially in the second half of the service. The menu is adequate, but there's room for further research and creativity. Service: 5/5 Excellent service. Attentive and knowledgeable staff manage the table with precision and without being intrusive. The pace is well-calibrated, and knowledge of the menu helps make guests feel guided and valued. This is one of the aspects most consistent with the experience expected from a restaurant of this caliber. Bill: 4/5 The price is higher than the local average, reflecting both the location and the overall ambition of the project. However, considering a menu that, while good, doesn't reach a distinctive level, the bill remains high but affordable. The value for money is more convincing when evaluated as a whole (location and service) rather than on the individual execution of the dishes.

07/02/2026: It's nice to see how Antonio, the owner, puts so much care and attention not only into choosing the ingredients and preparing the pizzas, but also into redecorating the place, making it more pleasant and welcoming. Not to mention the kitchen and table service staff, who are always prompt, attentive, and helpful.

16/11/2025: WHAT a discovery!! Just off the main pedestrian street in the town centre, from outside the place looks very small whereas they have a large side area so plenty of room. We went for lunch on a Sunday and we will visit again for sure!. Nello himself does the greetings (he is from Naples so the food is also Naples based) and is a very charming host, then a very happy lady came and took our order. We ordered food and drink and despite the number of customers the food arrived quite quickly. We both chose the "Genovese" pasta which is pasta in a special meat sauce and was totally delicious, plus a side plate of broccoli. Together with a carafe of the house red wine (which was also good) we spent a princely 23 Euro per head, EXCELLENT value for money for sure.

09/11/2025: We found ourselves in the alleys of Castellabate by chance and noticed this restaurant... the lady's welcome makes you feel right at home, and Mr. Nello's sweetness is the best. We ordered stuffed zucchini flowers and stuffed anchovies, oh so delicious. Spaghetti with clams and pasta and seafood beans were incredibly delicious, with fresh, quality ingredients; we had to mop up the sauce with the bread. I truly recommend it; everything was delicious.

30/12/2025: Eating in a lemon house has its own unique flavor. The atmosphere is beautiful, and Mr. Carlo, the owner, spent time with me, making me feel right at home. I found the various dishes very good, with carefully chosen and interesting pairings. Kudos to the staff: polite, kind, courteous, and very knowledgeable in explaining the dishes. I'll definitely be back!

30/11/2025: Make sure you walk back up to the lemon grove as you enjoy the fine food. We were greeted by the owner - Carlo - who personally set up our table for 6. DELICIOUS!! I bought his book of fine recipes and will email him a picture of my first effort. You MUST try his excellent restaurant. Paul (visiting from Wisconsin/USA). 08/03/2026: Terrible experience. There was an illegal valet in the restaurant parking lot who was demanding money to leave our car. When we didn't pay, we returned to find our car scratched. We reported the incident to the owners of the restaurant Il Casereccio, expecting at least attention or a willingness to understand what had happened. Instead, their attitude was arrogant and completely indifferent, as if the situation were normal. The most disconcerting thing is that they seemed perfectly aware of this person's presence in the parking lot, but instead of distancing themselves or trying to resolve the issue, they downplayed and defended the situation. Such behavior toward customers is unacceptable. I won't return, and I don't recommend it.

03/03/2026: I've been to this restaurant twice. Homemade in name and nature. The food is excellent, and the quality is excellent. We waited a bit, but it was worth it. The staff were helpful, the atmosphere was rustic and clean.

13/02/2026: I'm in Naples for work, and almost by chance, a colleague and I discovered the Vincenzo Costa pizzeria. It was an incredible discovery. I can say without exaggeration that it's the best pizza I've ever eaten. The dough is incredibly light, well-leavened, with a high, soft yet fragrant crust. The ingredients are top-quality: stringy, flavorful mozzarella, balanced and fragrant tomato sauce, and generous, perfectly balanced toppings. We had two different pizzas, and both were exceptional, meticulously crafted and cooked to perfection. You can taste the Neapolitan tradition in every bite. The service is friendly, and the atmosphere is simple yet authentic. It's one of those pizzerias you don't expect, but instead immediately wins you over. If you find yourself in Naples, you absolutely must try it. For me, it's a true reference point.

25/01/2026: I'm Neapolitan and haven't lived in Naples for 10 years. Many years ago, the pizzeria had a different name, and I'd already been there once. Yesterday, I wanted to try the experience again, remembering an impeccable fried pizza, and they made me try that experience again. I had a complete round fried pizza!!! That's the only way I eat it, plus a Margherita and a crocche (panzarotto di patana). Everything was excellent and quick, 5 minutes and it was all ready, I took it back to the hotel and I was delighted!! Today, I had a Panzarotto frittata and an Arancino, plus a Margherita a portafoglio. Excellent, I recommend it; few make a product like this!! I'll be back.

17/03/2026: The hosts, Antonio and Francesco, are lovely people. The atmosphere is intimate, the staff is courteous and professional, the food is sublime. My birthday was celebrated in the best possible way. Goodbye, Mauro de Sario and Mariella.
