03/09/2025: Good hotel but nothing special, the breakfast is decent, the shower drain didn't work well and often flooded if we used too much water, the door leading to the balcony has an opening that I think is the worst I've seen in my life (be careful because if you break it they'll charge you for it), car garage at 20 euros a day without the possibility of taking the car whenever you want but only asking for it to be taken out for you, solarium on the top floor nice but with a 1m wide pool... In short, good hotel but for me 4 stars is exaggerated

07/12/2025: This is the best restaurant we've been able to find in the winter time. We have been to a few restaurants, but none that had everything on point and delicious. The pizza and Tirimisu are to die for! Very delicious!

07/12/2025: The restaurant is located at the very top of a long staircase. After entering, we asked the sophisticated-looking gentleman next to us what he had ordered, and then we decided to order the same thing (pizza: Chiara). It turned out to be an amazing pizza!! The crust was incredibly soft yet crispy, with a wonderfully caramelized aroma, and the topping was plentiful of juicy meat. Every bite was so satisfying 🥹 I highly recommend everyone to try it!

09/11/2025: Recommended on Marriott Renaissance web site. Great fine dining experience in Napoli! Negronis were top notch. Baby octopus delicious! pasta with iberico pork meatballs exceptional. Wait staff were great. Yummy ice cream with nuts to finish. Tasted each red they had before choosing our glass. highly recommend!!

20/11/2025: The restaurant is hidden away in a narrow street, accessed by a picturesque old alley. The service is of the highest standard. The restaurant's decor is reminiscent of the old style, and the walls are adorned with artistic drawings and small curiosities, creating a unique, warm atmosphere. The food is delicious.

05/10/2025: Amazing place on the beach! We arrived by boat but you can reach there with the bus as well. They serve everything in the restaurant or on the beach! Staff was amazing ! We really enjoyed this place !

25/09/2025: On a day when we didn't feel like having pasta or pizza, we decided to order cotoleta and to our surprise it was very good. It's breaded meat, but the breaded pastry was very good and out of the ordinary. The fries were very good. The people were super friendly and smiling. Afterwards, we asked for help getting sun loungers on the beach and they promptly called the manager who was also super friendly. I suggest having lunch there and then going to their beach; it was the best beach I've been to in this area of ​​Naples. Oh! Great sea view from the restaurant.

06/11/2025: Open Gate Hotel in Praiano was absolutely spotless, you can tell right away how much pride the family takes in keeping everything clean and customer first. You truly feel like you’re stepping into their home with how warmly they welcome and cater to guests. The on-site restaurant served some of the best dinner we had in all of Praiano. The breakfast that’s included is perfect, with something for everyone. There’s a great spread of American options but also an authentic Italian breakfast with fresh pastries, fruit, and local specialties that were out of this world. The location is really great. Its about a 10 minute walk to the marina, a bus stop right out front which Pasquale helped make sure we caught and a 5 minute taxi ride to the center or 20 minute walk. This was not my first time visiting Praiano but now I know about this gem. Between the view, the food, and the incredible hospitality, Open Gate Hotel made our stay unforgettable and I will be back.

28/10/2025: Amazing staff who were very helpful with everything. Clean rooms and hotel overall. The restaurant was also very nice, great breakfast. Stunning views from the room. Easy to get around on the Amalfi coast. The hotel was located on a busy main road, so the noise from the road was quite loud. However, this was not a significant issue for us. Overall we had a very pleasant stay and will definitely come back!

03/10/2025: Beautiful place at the foot of Monte Faito. Getting there is a bit winding, but it's definitely worth it. It's about 9 km uphill from Vico Equense. The food is good; I tried their pizza, but there's also a restaurant, and honestly, I found it excellent for my tastes. Very light. 😋 I recommend it.

20/09/2025: Everything was exceptional, from the food (especially the meat, but the pizza is also excellent), to the panoramic location, to the service, and to the owner's helpfulness, who was hospitable, kind, and attentive like few others. Superb!

30/10/2025: I got the Don Antonio pizza. Delicious. The service amazing and was nice and quick.

27/10/2025: The pasta and pizza don't have an Italian flavor. The atmosphere and service are very good. Recommended for spending some time and having a cocktail.

08/10/2025: Great food, you gotta take a water taxi there, it’s free with their shuttle with red fish at certain times but if you wanna leave early like us gotta pay for way back 30E. Well worth it tho, rustic local cuisine, friendly service. Polpo salad was delish.

30/09/2025: The boat transfer is a mini trip in itself and a nice way to see Positano and the surrounding area from the water. A nice beach for swimming. In my opinion they shouldn't charge extra for their deck chairs, but the Italian's overcharge for every possible opportunity, which they should improve upon. We had a few different grilled seafood dishes and they were excellent. The side of grilled vegetables was small. Overall a nice day out. It's a minimum half day activity as the return only starts from 4 pm.

18/10/2025: Beautiful hotel, great view and location! Helpful porters to get your bags and bring them back to dock. Room furnishings a little dated but very clean. Air conditioning also worked really well and room came equipped with a steamer which was really helpful as most hotels don’t have irons for you to use.

17/10/2025: Absolutely wonderful stay. The hotel is slightly off the beaten path, which was a pleasant atmosphere! Away from the main city it gave a sense of paradise and serenity. We had the garden view room and were not disappointed. Beds were comfy and clean, room was spacious, bathroom was clean, and the balcony was a delightful added bonus for us. Service was great as well. Room service was respectful and prompt. Making quick work go clean the room. The restaurant was absolutely fantastic! One of our favorite meals in our 10day honeymoon in Italy. The gnachetti with braised lamb and the slow-cooked pork shoulder were absolutely delicious!

11/11/2025: Quality comes at a cost, but when it comes back in terms of raw materials and flavor, it's always money well spent. An experience that caresses the palate and the throat. The young, courteous, and knowledgeable staff are always attentive. A wide selection of spirits to round out the meal. Definitely worth a try.

11/10/2025: We went to this restaurant tonight. The place is welcoming, the staff friendly, and the gluten-free food is ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS. The fried food is sensational, and the gluten-free pizza is absolutely delicious and richly topped. Excellent value for money. (Appetizers include supplì, crocche, and pasta frittata, ortolani pizza, beer, mineral water, and Fernet for €25.)

11/10/2025: There were four of us this evening, two gluten-free and two regular ones. The food was delicious for both of us, with sensational fried foods. They allowed us to choose the pizza menu even though it was Saturday. Excellent value for money, fast service, and very friendly staff. Exceptional pizza. The only negative aspect, 100%, was the noise from the diners, but that's understandable on a Saturday night and with a line outside the restaurant to be served, perhaps because we didn't book. We didn't have to wait even a minute, having booked yesterday.
