27/03/2025: Viajamos de Amalfi a Salerno en autobús y nos dejaron literalmente en la parada al otro lado de la carretera de aquí, así que después de una hora en el autobús simplemente vinimos a tomar una copa. El interior está bien decorado y me pareció increíble la exhibición de comida! Todo parecía fresco y estaba muy ocupado con lo que pensé que parecían locales, así que ordené comida. Pedí medio pollo con cuñas, pizza con tomates secos y espinacas, un café y dos cervezas peroni, todo lo cual tuvo un costo total de £ 19. 20 lo cual me pareció una buena relación calidad-precio. El servicio fue rápido, el camarero era amable y la comida era muy buena! Incluso regresamos al día siguiente para el desayuno antes de salir a Nápoles desde la estación de tren que está a la vuelta de la esquina. El desayuno del día siguiente fue de dos perros pizza (me encantan estos! ) y dos cafés que era de £ 6 . 20 Volveríamos.

05/04/2025: We went there for the first time, and we were thrilled. We ate very well. Tradition and quality are combined in a perfect combination. The place is historic, clean, lived-in, bright and tells through photos and all the memories, the time it has spent. Raffaele, a smart, friendly and self-confident boy, followed us. I often go back to Naples and I will definitely go back 🔝🔝

12/01/2025: Io e mio marito ci siamo capitati per caso , FAVOLOSO ci torneremo certamente! Spaghetto al nero di seppia davvero speciale e calamaro con crema di castagne strepitoso e poi accogliente , piccolino l’ideale per stare in intimità , la signora di cui non ricordo il nome gentile e affabile e lo chef che prepara tutto con amore Consigliatissimo bravi !!

15/03/2025: The cuisine is mainly based on fish, fresh and of excellent quality. The fried foods are also worth trying. And the desserts. Variety on the menu, but without too many divergences from Neapolitan and Cilento tradition. In short, everything to try and enjoy with satisfaction. Linguine with san pietro or lobster, amberjack and tagliogne acqua pazza or baked, but also cod pie, fiorelli stuffed with ricotta, paccheri sword and aubergines, spaghetti with clams, pasta, beans and seafood... to finish with baba or pastiera. I've never tried its pizzas because it would be too banal given the temptations on the menu. Absolutely reasonable cost, when compared to the quality. Simple but attentive service. Nello is incomparable! Always kind, present and prompt, lots of ideas in the kitchen. Personally, I've always been going there. If it had the view it would be too perfect, but you can't have everything. People mainly go to restaurants to eat well, and at Nello's you eat really well.

23/03/2025: The restaurant absolutely wins for its location and breathtaking view of the sea. We had lunch on the terrace with excellent service from Angela and everything taken care of in detail, especially in the dishes. We ordered tagliolini with seafood, an explosion of flavor. Then fried food accompanied by a reduction of vinegar and chili pepper, truly excellent. We also tasted the bread prepared by them with care and attention to flavors and ingredients. The price is in line with the location and raw materials. I would definitely return and highly recommend.

17/03/2025: A place for connoisseurs. You will not find the usual Mexican/Spanish tourist cuisine, but typical traditional dishes cooked with the same local recipe. The owner (if you know how to take it is a very nice and prepared person) boasts a thirty -year experience of South American cuisine on the spot and does it out of passion. The menu is particular and the products are top quality. The paella (if you want to try his) you will have to book it and not on Saturday because he "only cooks fresh products and the original paella needs 3 hours of preparation". La Madrugada is a culinary experience and as mentioned above is for connoisseurs. The environment is quiet and very small (3/4 tables) so booking is mandatory. The prices are quite high but it can be worth it in terms of value for money. Update March 2025: I confirm that the quality of the place, the freshness of the products and the goodness of the cuisine requires a review of the organisation: in the place there is only the owner and the helper (who however only takes care of the kitchen) and it is the owner himself who manages the orders, table service and preparation of the dishes, this significantly slows down the arrival of the dishes resulting in you having to wait almost two hours to finally be able to taste the paiella. You can't do everything alone; A waiter is needed to manage the orders, especially when you have to explain the dishes on the menu and if you are alone it inevitably takes time away from preparing the dishes. So you are warned, you will eat well, but the wait will be long

22/03/2025: Good pizza, the best in Mercato S.Severino Mercato S.Severino is in a bad state from a catering point of view, but Campania in Bocca is an exception. When we are in the area we stop here for an excellent pizza. The environment is also well-kept.

26/03/2025: I don't want to exaggerate BUT it is perhaps the best place we have eaten here on the Amalfi coast. Delicious bread and pasta, not to mention the fried fish. Thanks again for the delicious food and hospitality. Coming in March was perhaps the best idea to enjoy the place in peace before the high season!
