22/11/2025: In the heart of Naples, Pizzeria Pellone smells of pizza in every corner. Founded in 1960, this classic establishment has nourished generations with the same simple yet powerful recipe, without artifice or pretension, and therein lies its charm. Here, the glitz of trendy spots isn't the goal: the true spirit of the "wagon wheel" pizza is preserved, made with premium ingredients that reflect the bounty of the Vesuvius hills. Vibrant tomatoes, perfectly melted mozzarella, and fresh basil take center stage. As is typical in Naples, the restaurant operates on a first-come, first-served basis and is always packed. With skillful touches of fire, the pizzaiolos shape high-hydration doughs using the classic Neapolitan technique, the slap, stretching the dough to its limits. The result: pizzas overflowing the plate. We tried a prosciutto e funghi and a diavola. 13/10/2025: Another strange experience, honestly. We're not used to private beaches, and in this region, 99% of them are taken over by restaurants. So, you expect first-class service, and the truth is, it's not like that. In such a touristy place, they don't speak Spanish or English. "ABSURD." Afterwards, they only had one waiter, who was hardly a waiter. He set the table in five stages, since instead of carrying everything on a tray, he brought us: the tablecloths first and left. After a few minutes, he arrived with the cutlery and left, then the plates, and then the menus. So if you ask about the food, I'll leave it to your amusing conclusion. In short, expensive and bad. Anyway, Italy....

14/08/2025: We had a wonderful experience at Fracatel! The food was absolutely superb — fresh, full of flavour, and clearly made with the best local ingredients. The service was outstanding: the staff took such good care of us, always kind, attentive, and thoughtful about our needs, never once making us feel rushed or unwelcome. One especially touching moment was when a member of the team celebrated their birthday and kindly shared their homemade cake with us — such a sweet gesture that made us feel like part of the family. A true gem where hospitality and quality go hand in hand. Highly recommended!

09/11/2025: I like to review restaurants where I dine. And I'm positive, meaning I try to capture the positives in my visits. However, this time I can't help but leave out what I had for dinner. Just for the record (as shown in the attached photos), scialatielli allo scoglio (seafood scialatelli) and calamari tagliata (sliced ​​calamari) with arugula, piennolo cherry tomatoes, parmesan shavings, and balsamic vinegar, washed down with Fiano di Avellino. And the real sore point is the wine: how is it possible that we ordered "Fiano di Avellino" (priced at €10) from the host by word of mouth and by pointing to it on the menu, and found it on the bill for €14? The host said, "It was sold out, so I brought you this IGT wine," and then dramatically added, "I thought you knew it was sold out!" And how could we if the menu didn't say "Sold Out," nor did he even bother to inform us? Add to that, when I said I'd post my review on Google Maps and include the receipt, he first said, "For privacy reasons, you can't do that. You can say you ate well!" And we, in response, "Why can't we do that? It's our money, we paid for dinner!" He quickly rushed back to the cashier, then to us, and brought us the receipt. NEVER AGAIN!!!!!!!! Transparency comes first. You can eat and be satisfied or not, but you simply can't be served wine that's different in price from the one you ordered, and not be informed before opening the bottle. And you're supposed to expect the customer to know what they can't possibly know, having not been informed in advance!!!!! Besides, the bill says "Water" (for the record, a S. Pellegrino mineral water) is €4, when we normally pay €2.50 for it in all the restaurants, pizzerias, and trattorias we frequent (and there are many). I repeat, NEVER AGAIN!!

07/11/2025: I went there for a party and had a really good time. EXCELLENT food... unique dishes (I even liked the plating). Fresh fish... special appetizers and refined dishes. Highly recommended place.

07/11/2025: Good, but a bit pricey for the portions served. I assume the fish is fresh, so it's fair enough. But we had a fish carpaccio with vegetables, which was quite poor in both quality and portion size. The tuna and hummus were better. The wines were good, and the atmosphere was very nice. However, for such a casual, quick-service place, €35 per person seems a bit too much.

22/10/2025: A very tasty, cozy restaurant, and they have a special vegan menu! They serve appetizers, main courses, and desserts. I ordered a vegan nougat dessert and I'm not entirely sure if they brought me the right one, as I got vanilla ice cream instead. Otherwise, it's great, but not cheap.

16/11/2025: La Madrugada is a charming little place where you can enjoy fantastic freshly cooked nachos and beautifully crafted spicy meats served on skewers. Sergio cooks with passion, offering excellent dishes like his Valencian paella. All washed down with excellent sangria. An experience not to be missed.

Good food, all freshly prepared and in plain sight, excellent sangria, and, above all, the masterful management of the ever-legendary Sergio, friendly, fun, and always attentive to the needs of his customers, both old and new. 17/11/2025: The food was good. The white wine was perfect, fruity. The restrooms were clean. BUT: * What a racket! My ears could hardly stand it. * What a wait! It was Sunday, and it seemed the kitchen staff couldn't keep up. An hour for a simple pasta dish. That's way too long. What a shame.

12/11/2025: Great dinner at Convento in Cetara. Very quiet on a tuesday night in november. Great if anchovies are your thing. Had a Genovese di Tonno for the first time but i think i prefer the classic meat version.

19/10/2025: Never again!! 3 of us sat down at 1:30 PM and ate at 3:45 PM...what? 2 BITES! We came for the meat we didn't eat, we sat for 2 hours drinking only Coke and ate 2 bites, a sky-high bill for what? 2 bites. Never again, an experience to forget!

04/12/2025: Nice atmosphere, located downstairs, but still nice. Maybe a little small, but convenient. Fast service, good-quality pizza (which we ordered), reasonable prices, definitely worth a visit.

03/12/2025: Excellent napolitan pizza. Traditional and inventive at the same time. Just go and try it. Sometimes you need to wait for a table or you can quickly get take away pizza.
