06/10/2025: Homey atmosphere. A warm yet professional welcome. Fast and precise service. Excellent quality traditional cuisine. Excellent cheeses. I enjoyed the mustards and jams served with the cheeses. I confirm the top dish, the scarpariello. Truly excellent. It's worth returning, especially for the first courses and cheeses. Good wine list. Appreciable Cilento wines. The entrance needs a bit of attention. But that day, with the rain and wind, it was fine. My only suggestion is to put a sign in front of the front door; I accidentally entered the kitchen. Oh.

The atmosphere maintains the authenticity of a true traditional osteria, where you can still feel the genuine atmosphere of the Cilento villages. The owners and staff demonstrate excellent preparation and a warm welcome that makes you feel at home. Their passion for local culinary traditions shines through in every dish served. The quality of the products we tasted was consistently high, demonstrating a particular attention to the selection of raw materials and their preparation. Perito itself is a small village waiting to be explored, and Osteria da Ersilia perfectly embodies the spirit of these places, where tradition and hospitality blend harmoniously. An authentic experience that I highly recommend to anyone seeking the true flavors of Cilento in a welcoming, family-friendly setting.

23/08/2025: We were passing through and stopped for lunch at this restaurant. For our first course, we had the two types of ravioli. They were truly delicious; you could taste the ricotta. The owner also brought us a sample of the pasta with beans, which was very good. The second courses were also excellent. Both the owner and the waiters were very kind. If you're ever there, I recommend stopping for lunch!

23/08/2025: One of the best trattorias in Oliveto Citra. Flavors of yesteryear. The lagane with beans, which they bring you as a sample, are excellent. The mixed grill is also excellent. Homemade bread. Recommended!

The €5 Margherita was perfect – a light, well-cooked crust, fresh tomato sauce, and creamy mozzarella. The fried appetizers like arancini and frittatine were also delicious and well-seasoned. The service was friendly and quick, despite the large number of customers. The atmosphere is simple, but that's precisely what makes it so charming – no show, just a genuine Neapolitan way of life. I would go back anytime – authentic, delicious, and absolutely great value for money!

09/10/2025: I visited this Michelin-starred restaurant for my birthday and it did not disappoint. I had high expectations, which were met every time, from appetizer to dessert. I chose one of the experience menus. The staff were friendly and knowledgeable, and the location was elegant and intimate. Street parking is available in blue lines, or there's a private parking lot less than 50 meters away, which is part of a local 5-star hotel, but you can also park inside.

28/09/2025: Let's start with the ambiance: simple and essential, in wabi sabi style. The service is certainly excellent, no doubt about it. Unfortunately, the sore point is what should be the most important thing: the food. From bitter to burnt to salty in every possible nuance, leaving us at the end of the meal with a bitter taste in our mouths, including the sweet one.

20/09/2025: Came with a couple of friends who had been here before. Tucked away in a quiet neighbourhood away from the sea front. Such a little gem that I never would have come to. Had antipasti and pasta and lots of wine. I was too full for the meat course. We were eating with local families which was such a nice experience. Top quality food. Ignore any bad reviews. They are fake. This place is superb home cooked food.

05/09/2025: To be able to dine in this place is a blessing in itself. The sweeping view over the sea, where nature and history have so much to tell, the sight of the famous Castel dell'Ovo with all the scars of its long history, captivates every visitor, provided they are alert and possess a little sense of history. Being able to enjoy fresh food and drinks with it is a luxury that can be paid for with money, although the experience remains priceless.

05/09/2025: We really enjoyed our experience at this restaurant, after a few hits and misses while visiting Naples and going by the Michelin app recommendations. This restaurant definitely deserves to be on the app, unlike other establishments listed. The view is absolutely stunning, the service is excellent, the wine and food were delicious. We both had the tasting menu, I had the seafood option and my partner had the meat option. Every dish was thoughtfully prepared. Definitely recommend if you want to have a lovely evening in a stunning setting and great food.

06/10/2025: Delicious and enormous Margherita and drink for only €10! The pizza is large enough for two. I was impressed that it went from dough to my table in 15 minutes. This place is located on the outside perimeter of the Galleria Umberto I and a few steps from the Teatro San Carlo. So it’s a convenient stop when you visit Piazza Plebiscito.

05/10/2025: Poor service and bad food. There's no menu, prices aren't transparent, and tourists are charged more at checkout.

17/10/2025: We ordered a truffle dish, but it was almost flavorless. The Portuguese-speaking waiter (I think his name is Celo) was incredibly rude and kept rushing us to order, constantly coming back and saying, "Come on, come on!" He was very rude to the customer, and even though he spoke Portuguese, he was incredibly disrespectful. It's not like the restaurant was full and they needed to free up a table; he's just like that, trying to make his job easier. Overall, the experience was disastrous. I suggest you speak to this waiter properly, because the others were respectful and helpful, even though the meal wasn't that tasty.

07/09/2025: Typical local cuisine (Vesuvian), excellent: pasta with beans and mussels, washed down with local wine. We enjoyed long conversations with the owner, who was extremely kind and helpful. We'll be back on our next visit to Torre del Greco!

23/08/2025: A friend took us to this family owned restaurant. The food was amazing and we really enjoyed it. The meat was so soft and juicy there was almost no need to chew it. We got to try a lot of different dishes. I really recommend trying the olive spread and their pork. We could communicate in English without any trouble. The restaurant was very clean and the atmosphere was great. If you are in Ruviano make sure to go! 😊

04/05/2025: We stumbled upon this bistro by chance and we were super lucky. The food was excellent and the price was right. Excellent appetizers. I had the spaghettoni with cod and peppers, Caserta suckling pig and potatoes, dessert and coffee, all divinely cooked. Compliments
