15/05/2026: A wonderful experience that happened by chance. Passing by on the main road, we noticed this agriturismo. We made a quick reservation and stopped for lunch. The place is very charming. Exposed stonework. Beautifully landscaped garden. A very young chef. Friendly staff. Original and unusual dishes. Seafood included. The first course was burrata-filled ravioli with red shrimp sauce, spectacular. The mixed seafood antipasto was made with fresh, well-prepared ingredients. Excellent. Truly excellent.

30/04/2026: A very charming place on the riverbank, away from the hustle and bustle. Truly friendly staff and excellent dishes, from appetizers to main courses. I think I've tasted the best cured meats I can remember here. The portions are not only generous but also very affordable.

28/04/2026: The place is very nice, surrounded by greenery near a stream. The service is quick and efficient. I was a bit disappointed with the food. The appetizers were a bit sparse and the first courses were limited and not seasonal, although they were quite good.

30/04/2026: Lovely, small town restaurant! I’ve been here twice during my trips to Italy and it never disappoints. The food is always fresh and delicious, the service is amazing and the atmosphere helps make you feel at home. I strongly recommend you visit if you are in the area. You will be thinking about their linguine pasta until you go again!

The menu, which is frequently updated and enriched, is a perfect blend of sophistication and simplicity, a balance of flavors and top-quality ingredients. Adding to the experience is the excellent, delicate, and friendly service, and the splendid setting of an intimate, welcoming, elegant, and refined restaurant. I've chosen it for several special occasions and would recommend it to anyone who wants to experience a Michelin-starred meal with the intimacy of a family day out.

01/06/2026: For us, this is the best restaurant in Tropea. We completely understand the many positive reviews, but we simply don't understand the few negative ones. The menu is extensive and offers something for everyone – whether you're looking for fish, meat, or an excellent, high-quality pizza. The value for money is outstanding. Despite the large number of customers, you're always served with warm Italian hospitality and friendliness. Every time we're in Tropea, we eat here at least twice, often even more often. A definite recommendation and an essential part of every Tropea vacation.

19/10/2025: “Incipit” is almost a hidden gem, tucked away from the busy High Street and tourist-heavy areas. This spot comes highly recommended by locals — and for good reason. It has a gorgeous outdoor terrace with views over the piazza, but the real wow factor comes when you choose to dine indoors… in the cave! Yes, a beautifully lit, cosy cave with an incredible atmosphere that makes the whole experience feel special. The service was exceptional — friendly, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The menu is fantastic, offering a perfect mix of local favourites and creative twists. We went all out and enjoyed the full experience: antipasto, primo, and secondo. The tuna tartare was outstanding, bursting with freshness and flavour. I had the Fileja al ’Nduja ragu, which was absolutely mind-blowing — and high on my Calabria culinary wish list. My partner chose the hazelnut risotto, which was equally exceptional. For mains, I had the pistachio-crusted seabass while my partner had the cod — both dishes beautifully presented and cooked to perfection. Highly recommended if you want an authentic, high-quality dining experience away from the tourist traps. Grazie mille per il fantastico servizio 🙏👌👏

03/05/2026: Until recently, it was a special kind of place... now you can find everything... people of all kinds... As for the service, I noticed that the waiters, poor things, are very tired, and you can see it on their faces... which is not right in my opinion! As for dinner... what can I say, nothing, the food is definitely not like it used to be! I'm sorry, but I'm very disappointed... not to mention the people at Holle... sulky, with no sense of kindness at almost every request, very annoyed! So, I say, is it worth paying more than €60 per person for a dinner and then being treated like this?

29/05/2026: Delicious pizza, although I'll probably never become a fan of Neapolitan. The place, despite the waitstaff, has a rather casual feel, so if you don't like overly "concerned" service, this place is a winner. The price is impeccable, and order fulfillment is quick.

15/05/2026: Our B&B host recommended this place, and we had a great time with the four of us for supper. The food was delicious, and the private setting away from Main Street added to the experience.

17/05/2026: We went to Solomos for pizza. Two four-seasons pizzas and two draft beers came to €40. They're thick pizzas, which isn't really my style; I prefer thin ones without such thick crusts, but that's how they make them in the south. I thought it was expensive.

10/05/2026: Unwelcoming place, long wait for pizza (1.5 hours). Inappropriate staff attire (waitress in vest). The appetizer arrived incomplete, but was included in the bill. When asked for an explanation, the response was arrogant and unprofessional.
